Guys, you can disagree with someone's beliefs, but it's undeniable that Aga Khan's philanthropic works make him a true gentleman. Regardless of their faith, we should recognize and appreciate individuals like him who contribute to humanity. Unlike many sheikhs who claim to be Muslims but don't contribute to society, Aga Khan's selfless actions speak volumes. He never seeks the spotlight, yet he consistently shines through his impactful work. Let's all open our eyes and acknowledge those who are making a positive difference, irrespective of their religious background. JazakAllah🙂
@@claudiafrancisca6983 He is a Gentleman with strong character, that's why educated non-ismailis also respect him... One of the few selfless person in the world right now
I agree with the philanthropic work but selfless? From which angle does he look selfless? He is enjoying a luxurious life. Also I wonder where he gets trillions of money from? What's the source of his income? Yes as so called Muslims we are hypocrites and very selfish. We should practice the true spirit of Islam and try contributing to the society. All his great work doesn't mean he 'is' the imam.
Many, many years ago my grandmother met this man. Not knowing who he was she told him to carry her lugage and follow her. He did so, not correcting her. The folowing days she had some delightful walks and talks with him. My grandmother was told who he was after he carried her lugage, but she kept treating him as she did others. Like one of her own children. And he treated her with the same respect as he would give his mother. Untill her dead she talked with great fondness about him. Wish there were more like him.
@@Wanderer_92 We are Dutch. But the Aga Khan was a guest of my aunt and uncle. They had a plantation on East Java, Kaliklatak. That's where my grandmother met him.
Dear Brothers and sisters, I went through all your comments about His Royal Highness the Aga Khan. It seems you are commenting on someone without understanding their origin, role and vision etc. You don't know who the Aga Khan is. Actually, the Aga Khan is his secular title which has been in continuation in the family for the last four generations, but his name is Shah Karim Al-Husseiny. He is the direct descendant of the last Prophet Muhammad PBUH, and legitimate heir of the throne of Imamat. The hereditary office that he holds, is the office of Immamat - once held by the successor of Muhammad who was Ali (AS). In Shia Islam, the concept of Imamat was continued through the descendants of the prophet, and is still in continuation right from the time of the Prophet's death. This authority will continue till the end of this world in the family of the Prophet for guiding the interpretation of faith INSHALLAH. Today Shah Karim Al-Hussainy is the 49th hereditary Imam of Ismaili Muslims. So, religiously, he is the Imam of the time - means leader of the people who refer to him as Imam, however, he also holds himself responsible for taking care of the worldly matters connected to the faith - including those of improving quality of human life. Faith, according to the Aga Khan, demands people to live in peace and harmony regardless of whatever religion, ethnic background, colour and creed you represent. He believes in the essence of pluralism. This is why he has devoted most of his time to bridging societies and religions to bring harmony in the world. He thinks that he can help people understand and respect each others' traditions, values, norms and religious sophistications through pluralism.

His grandfather Sir Muhammad Agha Khan III did so much in the creation of Pakistan, he was one of the founder of All-India Muslim League which later became Pakistan Muslim League (Q, N, Z etc.) Sir Agha Khan III also contributed in the Shimla Deputation (which asked for the rights of Indian Muslims) so basically Agha Khan IV's ancestor is one of the founding father of Pakistan. What's a strange coincidence ! The British have financed and backed both to achieve their strategic objectives in the middle east over the last century.

After the death of Imam Jafar during the time Abbasid caliphate, Shi'ism divided into two main branches the 'twelvers' and the 'seveners'. The twelvers are mainstream shias of today's time while seveners are also known as Ismaili as they believe that 'Imam Ismail' son of 'Imam Jafar' had the right of Imamat. The succession of Imamat ended and the propagation of faith was done through Dais. Ismailis established their Khilafat in Cairo Egypt and established reknowned 'Al Azhar' university. In the first crusade Fatimid caliphate lost Jerusalem to Christians. Saladin Al Ayubi defeated the crusaders and regained Jerusalem and established Ayyubid dynasty abrogating Fatimid caliphate. One important 'Dai' who was assigned the task to propagate the faith was 'Imam Hassan Bin Sabbah' who established his base in Alamut castle, Iran. The castle was eventually destroyed by Mongols in 1256 alongside the sack of Baghdad. After this incident Ismaili faith saw a decline until the first Anglo-Afghan war when Ismaili 46th Imam extended his support to the British against their war against Afghanistan. After the war the British gave him the title of Sir Aga Khan I for his role in the war, following which Aga Khan I shifted the base from Iran to Bombay. Currently Ismaili faith is governed by Aga Khan IV. Ismailis are known for their education and wealth with populations concentrated in Karachi, Indian Gujurat, Hunza, Badakshan of Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
Sorry but you have a few factual errors here. The title of Aga Khan was given to him by the Shah of Persia not the British and the Imam was never involved in the Afghanistan conflict at all. Instead the Imam was a firm believer of Muslims having a separate homeland and contributed a lot to it. Secondly , the Imamat after Imam Ismail didn't actually end as they were hidden from public due to persecution by the Abbasids. Once the Berbers of North Africa extended support to the Imams , they came out of hiding and established the Ismaili Caliphate.

@@Wanderer_92 It is evident that you fail to perceive a certain perspective, which is understandable considering the limited information available to you. However, it is important to acknowledge that the individual in question possesses a substantial fortune, conservatively estimated at around 13 billion dollars, if not more. It is quite possible that this estimate falls short of the actual wealth at their disposal. It is crucial to recognize that not all financial details are disclosed publicly, and there may be hidden facets to their wealth. In your interactions with others, you have expressed the notion that we should commend this individual for their philanthropic endeavors. Interestingly, their charitable works predominantly seem to be concentrated in Africa and Asia, regions characterized by emerging markets and vast potential for economic growth. This observation raises questions about the motivations behind their actions. Are these acts of goodwill truly selfless, or could they be strategically aligned with their business interests in these lucrative markets? It is worth considering the possibility of ulterior motives behind their benevolent façade. Furthermore, it is crucial to analyze the actions of this individual's family, as they may provide valuable insights into the overall nature of their schemes. It is not uncommon for wealthy families to engage in intricate and complex maneuvers to consolidate and grow their wealth. While you may focus on the outwardly visible achievements of this individual, it is imperative to recognize that our ethical and moral standards should not be solely based on external factors. As the Bible states, "Our best deeds are like filthy rags" according to religious teachings. Therefore, it is essential to critically evaluate the intentions and consequences of one's actions, regardless of the positive façade they may present. To illustrate this point, consider a hypothetical scenario where Jesus, a figure known for his humility and modesty, is portrayed engaging in behaviors that are inconsistent with his teachings. Imagine Jesus surrounded by scantily clad women on a lavishly built yacht, or owning a colossal enterprise involved in horse racing, a domain closely associated with gambling. Such scenarios challenge the conventional perception of a virtuous and righteous figure. It is vital to discern between appearances and true character, as well as to evaluate the validity of justifications and excuses put forth in defense of such behavior. Please note that my intention is not to insinuate any specific religious affiliation or imply personal financial contributions to this individual. Rather, it is a call to exercise critical thinking and consider the integrity and motivations of influential figures in our society.

Prophet Muhammad felt great relief upon accomplishment of his mission of declaring Hazrat Ali his successor and legatee, wasi, and thereupon received the final revelation: "This day have I perfected for you your religion and completed My favor on you and chosen for you Islam as a religion" Quran 5:3. Further to emphasize on this. Surely those who swear allegiance to you do but swear allegiance to Allah; the hand of Allah is above their hands. Therefore whoever breaks (his faith), he breaks it only to the injury of his own soul, and whoever fulfills what he has pledged with Allah, He will grant him a mighty reward." Quran (48:10) "And, He it is who made the stars for you that ye maybe rightly guided by observing them in the darkness of the land and the sea; Indeed we have made plain the Signs for the people who can know. Qur'an (6:98) The Holy Prophet (sas) said: "As the stars in the sky are the source of guidance to the travelers, the Holy Ones of my Ahl al Bayt (the Imams descended from the Prophet's family) are the source of guidance for the people. JazakAllah🙂

Dear Brothers and sisters,
I went through all your comments about His Royal Highness the Aga Khan.

@Dave 1977 Oh ok. I'm in America and the Ismailis I have met from around the world do not have such confusion about their faith. Those individuals who you grew up with might have been confused as you said. But everyone has their own belief. The Hindu Garba they do is not for a religious reason it is a cultural celebration they have. But alot of Hindus in the past have converted to Ismaili Muslims, and those Ismailis moved to East Africa from India maybe 1 or 2 generations ago. It is not for me to judge why they have such confusion. I amuse that those Ismailis may be more comfortable around Hindus than Muslims, but again who knows.

@@James.1_2-3 From your comment it seems that you are paying him any tax or money, thats why i asked you... Btw he is not even in top 100 wealthiest people in the world
@@Wanderer_92 It is evident that you fail to perceive a certain perspective, which is understandable considering the limited information available to you.

@@abulhassan3697 i know progress & acceptance of Ismaili community around the world. They follow islam the way Allah meant by using gifted intellect & not just ratofying the text without understanding its inner meaning.
Ironically, When Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) taught Islam there were very few followers only after few years & centuries followers understood what he taught & brought to the world & islam expanded length & breadth of the world. That is true for all practice of faith during Shri RAM, Shri Krishna, Moses, Jesus, that's becoz humans find it hard to believe the divine power / figure cannot look like them & be present in front of thier eyes. They consider divine power something which is of past. But if you read holy text including Quran, Allah says, Obey messenger & those in authority among you Quran 4:59
Infact Allah plan to send human so he can speak your language & you can ask for guidance for this & the other world.
Refer ayat below:
"O you who believe! Obey God and obey the Messenger and those in authority (uli al-amr) among you."
Allah ask you to obey the authority among you. Now who grants this authority ? Ofcourse it has to be from Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) with will of Allah. Now refer to ghaddir-e-khum incident where the next authority was declared & hold onto them (ahl-e-bayt).
Ghaddir-E-Khumm declaration:
"He of whomever I am the Master-Lord (Mowla), Ali is his Master-Lord (Mowla)."
@@abulhassan3697 Also if you research further.
Before Ghadiir -E- Khum declaration Allah revealed ayat on Prophet Muhammad (pbuh):
Ayah-e Gadhir Khumm.
"O Messenger (Prophet), deliver to the people what has been revealed to you from your Lord and if you do not do so then you will not have delivered His message and Allah will protect you from the people. For God does not guide those who reject Faith."
Ya 'ayyuhar Rasoolu ballig maa unzila ilayka mir-Rabbik. Wa illam taf'al famaa ballagta Risaalatah. Wallaahu ya'simuka minan naas. Innal'laaha laa yahdilqawmal kaafiriin. Quran 5:67
Immediately after this: The Prophet thence declared "'Man Kuntu Mowlahu fa haza Aliyun Mowlahu' - 'He of whomever I am the Master-Lord (Mowla), Ali is his Master-Lord (Mowla).
Remember after Ghadir- E-Khumm declaration there was final ayat revealed onto Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) thats means that was the final message.
(Needles to say correct message here becoz that's gustakhi to say when referring to prophet).
Prophet Muhammad felt great relief upon accomplishment of his mission of declaring Hazrat Ali his successor and legatee, wasi, and thereupon received the final revelation:
"This day have I perfected for you your religion and completed My favor on you and chosen for you Islam as a religion" Quran 5:3.
Further to emphasize on this.
Surely those who swear allegiance to you do but swear allegiance to Allah; the hand of Allah is above their hands. Therefore whoever breaks (his faith), he breaks it only to the injury of his own soul, and whoever fulfills what he has pledged with Allah, He will grant him a mighty reward." Quran (48:10)
"And, He it is who made the stars for you that ye maybe rightly guided by observing them in the darkness of the land and the sea; Indeed we have made plain the Signs for the people who can know. Qur'an (6:98)
The Holy Prophet (sas) said:
"As the stars in the sky are the source of guidance to the travelers, the Holy Ones of my Ahl al Bayt (the Imams descended from the Prophet's family) are the source of guidance for the people. And, as the stars will remain in the sky until the day of judgment, the earth will never be without a Divine Guide from my Ahl al Bayt, that is an Imam"

The title 'highness' does not make you a prince. The title was conferred by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II but Her Majesty did not make him a prince.
@@ds1868 The titles Prince and Princess are used by the Aga Khans and their children by virtue of their descent from Shah Fath Ali Shah of the Persian Qajar dynasty. The title was officially recognised by the British government in 1938.

A big lie. He is not even an Imam and not the Shia Muslims. He is an atheist, anti-Islam anti-Quran and anti-Muslims. Just ask us the ex-Ismailis left his cult of Hindu-Ismailism created after rejecting Islam. Why is he using the fake ID of Islam for his cult and made fatwa to his followers to worship him and obey him only not Allah or the Quran. Using fake ID is a crime.
