Nice! Yeah Storm Ashes are INCREDIBLE in PvE as well as PvP, I loved them since day 1, and I was dying to finally use them in a cohesive thematic build for invasions. I hope they expand a bit on Lightning Ashes tho, they are too limited in what they can do, even tho they are very strong.
@@AZAELinvaded I do too. I hope they add more elemental themed ashes in general. The ones we have so far are cool, but there’s too few of them. I wish I did make mine more a dex build though so I could maximize lightning infusions. I made it a pure strength build so I could use certain weapons that I thought would fit the theme I was going for (I wanted to use the duelists and banished knight weapons). I feel pretty stupid for not thinking of that lol. I might restat it into a dex build.

Awesome vid man. Production value again through the roof. I'm thinking of forgoing my level 40 build for low level invasions and just sink it into this. Only so many times I can get summoned in at level 40, limited talismans and weapon level to try and fight off two ridiculously overpowered phantoms
Lv40/60 are so much fun tho. I can recommend you to try to go through all the PvE to get all the stuff you need (talisman pouches too) and keep your level low, so you can compete with overleveled phantoms and pesky hosts. Level 60/80 were definitely my favorite ranges for invasions. Can’t wait to get a boost to player activity with the DLC.

Epic AF my dude, as always! Thanks for all the effort and work! I love the storm, lightning, and fire stuff add needed spice to physical builds! Shadow of the Erdtree will be an interesting process lol. I'm going to love it but I also fully expect some new weapons and spells to become cancer for a while! It's just the natural cycle of Fromsoft DLC.
Well I definitely have some new ideas to take into my Vagabond Storm Knight also then. Been waiting on this one. Some of those combos were great! Definitely making me take another look at Vacuum Slice also.
Vacuum Slice is…a bad mix bag, honestly. Hitbox too narrow, no hyperarmor (I don't understand why), a tad too slow, the range is inconsistent, sometimes when you hit a player with the blade part of the animation you do little to no damage. It's weird, but it's cool as fuck, so I'm gonna use it anyway lol
It was neat seeing some underappreciated weapons in this video. Like the falchion and scimitar instead of the bandit curved sword and shamshir, or the regular halberd instead of banished knight halberd. Also using that Nepheli quote for the SotE foreshadow was awesome. Here's hoping for more lightning and storm AoW in the expansion! One I'm hoping for is a lightning variant of unsheathe that buffs the katana with lightning when you sheathe it
@@AZAELinvaded I got the lightning unsheathe idea from looking at the dragonscale katana and going "this would be way cooler if instead of lightning slash it got buffed from unsheathe" lol. But yeah we definitely need more lightning ashes, especially since the ones we got are so lacking in flashy style!
Finally, someone using vacuum slash! The good word of it must be spread! (Yes I understand it’s terrible but like, see how much I care when I somehow role catch a goober using the exact same dual Nagakiba or knights greatsword build)
Blaidd’s were my second best option! They fit very well, but I prefer the Fire Prelate’s ones ‘cause I love how they have the same shade of silver of the pauldron, and they also have same “scaley”. But yeah, they both fit perfectly.

Being back to parry consistently was so good! Also, the Storm Parry is not as bad as I thought! It’s actually pretty decent even with a medium shield.

I honestly had a hard time to make it work, but when I get used to it and finally understood when and how to use it, it was fun!
