Never did I imagine that in 2023 I’d be sent here looking for a sample that Limp Bizkit used in a song that came out in 2000!!! 8:48 is the time stamp for that sample and you’ll recognize it immediately if you’re a real one. Or old enough.
I had to do some research to figure out why that version wasn't on Spotify or Deezer and it led me here. Was the sample a Disney original composition or something?
OMG - I was there during that filming! I am there behind Tony Randall and then again later behind Kim Fields and Minnie Mouse. Wow, what memories! Sad that I never got to watch this show until just now. Thank you Sam’s Disney Diary for posting this. I have been searching for years to finally see this TV special.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for uploading this, I only found out about this special from a clip of the Japanese dub and had been waiting for someone to post it ever since. I was getting worried that this would be lost media otherwise since it's not every day one can say that one time Mickey hung upside down by one foot hanging from a helicopter, and have proof of it. Thank you again.
That is one big sea lion! He reminds me of Norman, a sea lion that used to live at the National Zoo in Washington, DC. He was a big boy, too. The only thing that would have made this better is if Carol Burnett had been there to be Mrs. Wiggins along with Tim Conway's Mr. Tudball (or maybe I should say "Mrs.-a Whiggins")
Yo whoever wrote the melody and beat at 8:48 for a DISNEY performance is based af, hahahaha. Freaking wild that Limp Bizkit basically lifted the sample verbatim for "Getcha Groove On"
GOTTA GETCHA GROOVE ON

Actually it's called Trapeze from Cirque Du Soleil 1987. The OST is available on RUclips.
I cannot believe limp Bizkit took a sample from this event. What are the odds of that.

Such a shame they didn't get the proper rights for it. It's the superior version of the song, too.
