    • @bigdog5217
      @bigdog5217 Год назад

      Exactly. You hit the nail on the head. Most homeless people are druggies...dopers. You ever notice they have no money for rent but always have money for drugs? Why is that? They do not want to work for a living. They do not want to live in shelters. They are perfectly fine to live on the streets and steal you blind while you sleep at night to support their drug habit. The fact is they are very lazy and just want to lay around all the time and get high as a kite.

    The solution is to get a majority of the residents to sign a petition that disallows overnight parking on your street. Then the judge signs an order for signs to block them. In Manzanita the elders did it and have a sign that blocks overnight idling. Just a trucker idling all night over time can vibrate a property into rubble. It's so annoying it causes extreme health problems like ear aches and migraines. Call the health department en masse to complain about the health problems it's causing you all. I got one now in my town driving around every few hours with extreme bass music nearly 24/7. They come by every few hours to waken everyone with the bass so loud it causes instant debilitating earaches and migraines. It really effects people with vascular disorders like extra veins or blockages.

In shelters, you can’t show up until about 6pm, and you have to have everything you own with you, and then at 7am, you have to leave, and take all your stuff with you. So how are you supposed to go to job interviews, or try to find housing, when you have to carry all your stuff with you all day?
    Shelters are REALLY unusable, and if you want them to ask, you should ask homeless people what they *need* from the shelters, instead of assuming for them.

      Why people can't realize this simple fact is beyond me. Oh yeah, because it's easier to condemn the individual and feel superior.
      As housing and rent continues to rise and more jobs are lost, we are going to see an increase in homelessness in every city and town across the nation, and sooner rather than later we're going to have to collectively come to terms with it and formulate real ways on how to solve it.
      Housing should be treated as the basic necessity that it is and not a privatized commodity which can be stripped from an individual the moment that their bank account no longer matches their needs.
