Great choice. I want to see more of Fatima's work. Love this artist program!
My personal favourite was Hannah's, I thought it was a great likeness and a very creative portrait.
Well done Fatima! I thought Hannah's work would have made the final three at least.
Love Fatima’s portrait
Hanna’s by far should have been included in the final 3.
I agree though I didn’t think I would like her work at the beginning ,Fatima’s was good but the ear was huge ,
Hannah's way of painting is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for bringing these videos to us!!
Omg how could they not choose the painting with the gorgeous day of the dead in the back, not that that is what was best about it but I can’t remember the name. It was stunning! Amazing! I do not denigrate the others but that one was on another level in my mind.
Great choice. Very realistic colorful portrait.
This has been so fun to see how different artists approach portraits with different mediums. If I was the older woman, I would have wanted the watercolor. It was flattering and accurate. 😊
Yes, I agree...the watercolor was much better than the one she picked. I thought his was not a good likeness.
@@tonyawilliams9433 It’s not all about likeness.
@@LuckerStomp IMO It had weak likeness, weak aesthetics, and not much in the way of originality.
@@IceCenders I have no particular opinion on it but I couldn’t blame her for choosing any of them. It is herself after all and personally I wouldn’t be so certain about what I would choose if I was up there and they were painting me instead, my opinions would probably change.
@@LuckerStomp Oh right I got confused I thought this was about the judges' choice, my bad.
I truly enjoy these series promoting and challenging portraiture artistry. These contestants are creative and daring, and kudos to them all! 😊😊😊😊
agreed, Ray, they are truly gifted and show all artists out there that they too can journey down this artistic path
I'm from the US and I love this series. They should set aside a special episode to invite American artists to compete. Call it "American Portrait Artist of the Year."
I agree. Certainly, more of these televised contests around the world would not hurt. There are so many artistic people, it is remarkable. Very remarkable.@@georgeanderson7499

Im from Sweden and I love this series. They should set aside a special episode to invite Swedish artists to compete.
Call it "Swedish Portrait Artist of the Year.'
@@georgeanderson7499sometimes there are American artists participating .
This group is so strong!
Thank you ❤❤❤ love this show
Hannah should have been among the three chosen as well as the large watercolor of Ann reed!
These judges need replacing!
Fatima was a good choice however!
I agree! I immediately thought, they've eliminated the good ones already. Fatima's was good-looking but I felt the likeness wasn't quite there, it reminded me of a cartoonish comic strip, and to me that wasn't quite as appealing. Still, she was the best of the three they selected, by a country mile.
😍Well deserved!!!
Fatima Panto felt like jumping... and she jumped! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😅
These are so fun to watch! I love the judges decisions and how they come about their decision. Fatima’s portrait is fabulous! Love the risk of the lime green. ❤
Hannah was my choice
Hannah❤
That branch of blossom in the picture Ann Reid chose of herself is really poorly done. Hannah’s effort was impressive, also the watercolour. It was a close thing between Fatima and Hannah though.
Yes I agree
All the judges are just so sweet and enthusiastic.
I love this series.
Ty ☺️
I am disgusted the jury didn't choose Hannah. It was a great portrait and the best of Ashley
Get used to it,these “expert” judges make alot of bad choices
@@chubbyjaydraws
I don't intend to get used to watch these series anyway. I just like to watch sometimes what other artists paint. Also portraits are not what I like the most in painting.
i never stay for their ‘ judgement’. -- i see because of the art and how different people express their art so differently
❤
No, no and just no! What is wrong wid dem judges?
I think the fact that Hannah didn't have a self-portrait must have worked against her, despite the wonderful portrait she painted that propelled her into the competition.
Congrats to Fatima!
Think Fatimas portrait of David had more likeness half way thru then at the end.
Yes, I agree with your observation. The ear was a problem for me, but I loved the overall work.
@@tonyawilliams9433yes me too I noticed the ear
@@sandraford4235 Hope she got the opportunity to correct that before handing it over to David! It was a great portrait all the same.
“This is my signature effect”
Christian Hook: What am I? Chopped liver?
Viva España
The amateurs are better than the professionals by far.
Lindsay is the best
David Gandy, lucky artists 😅
Again, a creazy background! Why? I like that the painters ignore many times, the background!
Yes, the backgrounds are a silly affectation. What the judges say about the backgrounds is irritating babble.
I don’t know why they bother with the backgrounds most of the artists ignore them and do their own thing.
Chosen the worst and weakest ones 😑
And the winner?
Seriously?
The best painting was Phil’s!
The judges are soooo bad
Grids should be forbidden in a portrait artist competition
Don't agree because if that is how they create their art normally, that is how they create.
The judges can be so terribly stuffy and out of touch at times. The negativity expressed whenever somebody isn’t working with paint and the doubt they hold that anything else could possibly create good art is outrageous to me. Do these people even like art? Sometimes I have to wonder! Do they turn up their noses on a walk through a contemporary gallery? Sure they often give credit to these other artists once they see the work but they seem to always need to qualify it somehow.
