- First Impressions of Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar. One thing Mona and the Kayali team are going to do is give us Top Tier marketing. But does the smell live up to the marketing? Here's what I think so far.

I really like this. I love sweet scents. It is a more wearable lighter sweeter version of La Belle so it won’t appeal to everyone. The PR does imply “ Candy” although it isn’t entirely Candy throughout I still enjoy this. It’s addictive. Prefer it to the real is Belle. It’s well blended. First Kayali I’ve enjoyed in a long time. I understand others not being into it. Personally it really works for me.
I agree with you. I was expecting greatness. It's okay. I'm wearing it now. I'm just so over being let down lately with most fragrances. We are just getting repetitive fragrances to me. I wanted the notes of this fragrance to come through and it missed the mark for me. As always I enjoyed your review.

I don’t own La Belle so I may keep this but I must say the advertising was very misleading like it was with pistachio gelato. I would have never expected it to smell as heavy and dense as it does. They should have marketed it as a lighter version of vanilla 28. And even then this fragrance and vanilla 28 are pretty similar
You are the first person I’ve seen actually mention the price difference between Sephora and Huda’s site. Huda’s site had the fragrance up first with the prices listed and sign up for notifications, I was really happy with the prices. $125 for a 100ml is good. Then Sephora posted theirs and it was more expensive! WTF? I would have ordered from Sephora because I need the points but not for that price difference. There was no explanation why there was a price difference. 🤷🏻♀️
I ordered my 100ml from the Huda site at 1:30 am, the moment it went live. I had enough VIP points to get $45 off so I ended up paying $83 for the 100ml.
Omg! New upload. I just got my Chipotle delivered. I’m in for the night! 😅 Give me alll the tea before I blind buy this.
I honestly think her Arabian roots don’t allow her to do true gourmands 100% full out. Why add Patchouli to the base of this smh

This perfume is a disappointment for me. I think if you have La Belle you don’t need this. If you want La Belle to be sweeter you can always mix it with a vanilla scent. I’m returning mine.

The majority of this fragrance does end up being a sweeter version of la belle so it can definitely be repetitive especially if you already own la belle. I'm hoping it will change as time goes on!
@@vaniamickelle yeah I actually ordered it first thing yesterday morning so blind buy but I already have la belle, I like it, but that’s not what I wanted this to be. This was the first, I seen people comparing it to Labelle actually seen a bunch of people saying the same including you for the most part but I always appreciate it. Honest review still give it a try I might just do like another saidAdd spray to it maybe even some bubblegum bath and body Works. Thank you :-)

Definitely not what I expected either based on the promotional roll out but I was ready for that. Kayali never really does what is expected. I’ve never smelled La Belle but I love this.Bought a 50ml almost immediately.

I’ll just go in the store and smell it. I’m a kayali fan, but I’ve learned to not get hyped by the PR and smell for myself before I make a decision to get a travel size.
That’s the very thing I have to do with the Kayali perfumes as well. I’ve blind bought so many of the travel sizes of this house and hated them except for eden apple and eden lychee.
That is honestly the best thing to do especially when it comes to Kayali.

Sometimes you may go nose blind to a fragrance, but other people can smell it. That just means the fragrance meshes well with your body chemistry.

I have never owned or smelled La Belle so I am really interested in smelling this new Kayali fragrance.
oh yeah a $55 credit is good. People also said they had 4x's the points at Sephora but I didn't know. They said you can call them and ask them to add it to your account after the facts. I hope you enjoy it! 🥰

This review is spot on. I can’t blind buy Kayali fragrances so I went in Sephora yesterday and sprayed it and walked around for a while. The initial spray, I agree is nice. Fruity candy lil bit of bubble gum and a hint of vanilla. Once it dried down on my skin I got more of the woody Patchouli note, which I’m not a fan of, it’s not too heavy tho, but it’s there. I sprayed it around 5:30 and I still smelled it on me around 11pm. I didn’t smell it the next day tho, maybe because I didn’t spray a lot in Sephora. The marketing is good for her business, but as a consumer I don’t like it. She’s smart and knows what most of us like, but it’s not given imo. I wish the initial spray was in the dry down also! You would think how it was marketed with the rock candy etc, but…Travel size is what I got and maybe it’ll grow on me more.

It's too many U's close together...I cant say it! 😂😂 I saw it and I almost got it but I didn't because the description said it smelled like the makeup or something and I was out after that 😂😂 everybody always says that to me. I always say I'm not a real gourmand lover and then my favorites be all gourmands 😂😂😂

Hmm I think that standard Kayali DNA is there but it doesn't smell similar to those other perfumes to me. But that could be my nose. Hope you like it when you get it! 🥰

hen you spray it on clothes that bubble gum creamy smells last for eternity!! on skin I only get vanilla cream and marshmallows. i love it

Have your feelings changed since it’s been a minute since your review? It’s interesting that people say it smells like La Belle. Maybe I didn’t hold onto La Belle long enough bc I didn’t care for it. 😏 I probably should have tried Le Parfum, but this Kayali fragrance….I absolutely love it! Mona and her marketing team are top tier🎉 I like this fragrance a lot "comma however" I don't feel like I have to have it. I sold 3 yesterday and sprayed it for a good amount of clients. Straight up 50/50 it's either a love or a disgust. I was really surprised.

I got the travel size , and sprayed it like crazy in store. I was definitely disappointed it reminded me of a lighter version of killian love don’t be shy . It smells really good and I will still buy the bigger size because it’s cute. It is a bubble gum sexy fragrance.
Oh I never thought about LDBS but that kind of make sense. I don't like the original LDBS so this could be an alternative for those who don't like the OG like me. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous!!

I saw your review with the Delizia marshmallow. I think if you combined it with that, Vanilla Bean Noel, B&B Bubble gum Pop & with cotton candy would be great. I haven’t tried this yet, but have a feeling it won’t be sweet enough for me. I’m a true gourmand lover. ☺️💖
One of the combos I plan to try is the Bubble Gum Pop perfume oil with the Delizia Marshmallow and the vanilla rock candy! I think it's going to be a hit!

Yes i ordered the 100ml on hudas site too bc it was like $13 cheaper than sephora. I stayed up till one o clock on the morning my time to order it soon as it dropped lol

I really enjoy this one! I’ve never smelled la belle lol so idk what everyone is talking about 😂 good for me I guess lol. I get all the sweet notes plus the violet and jasmine on skin but those leave like 30-40 minutes later. On clothes it’s all the sweet notes too and that stays forever I feel like 😂😂
The fact that I could smell something at all when I woke up this morning told me the performance was going to be pretty good.

So I got a 10ml and bought one of Charlotte tilburys perfumes (which I had no intention at all on buying.anything from her line) I had to leave the store with something bc I had my hopes up all week and was let down!! Lol. But the gold bottle from Charlitte smells like suntan lotion and that's one of my favorite scents to wear in summer. I'm a sucker for the beachy,sun tan scents. ❤❤. Cheer up
Outta all the kayali releases this was THE ONLY one I was excited and was at the store upon opening and release. Boy was I LET down. It smells like a LaBelle flanker. I love LaBelle but this was so disappointing and she missed the mark on this one. She could've made a banger had it been candy like and marhmallowey. Not even close
