Personally I use candle patterns on swings since I use higher time frames to chart them and the same strategies for swings I don't use for day trading. I do have it combined in one account though and I will separate it when capital allows. I use trading view's scanning tool and have my sectors separated into lists. USing finviz to look at sectors as well to help as I can't chart my entire watch list, ha.

I'm working on a stock that trades now between 16.45 on the open dropping to $16.32 in the am to 10 or 11. 12 pm starts up to 16.49 a day, said to trade 10m shares a day. I'm seeing a 15 cent move from top to bottom generally. I'd have to buy 1,000 shares just to make $150 if i bought at the bottom, 11am, and if i could get rid of it at by the close 16.48. Here's the problem do i buy 1000 shares all at once? If i buy 1000 all at once they can drop it, hairing me out. And at a thousand shares I'd only make $150, not much. Or if you think i can buy 10,000 shares in one buy , without causing drop i could make $1,500 in a day. Waiting for some clarification from you on this? Something i haven't seen a vid on! I'm only afraid to by 10,000 shares for fear they with drop the stock in the face of such a large purchase. Thx4tvids

Yeah.. swing trading is a lot more chill and easier to handle rather than day trading. Ive daytrade for awhile before but its very taxing to my mental😂

Swing trading, day trading they are all pretty brutal for the most part. If I was into any of those I'd have something like selling options were you win 90/95% of the time. Get reliable income that you can use for the risky day trading or swing trading.
Swing trading is easier and you can have multiple chances before getting hit and the direction of move is easier to predict than the crazy day trading. The problem in swing trading you can easily can get a sudden gap down in the premarket period.

Don't worry on time zones. Try to find a good context --> good trending markets is the only thing you need to start. When to operate should fit your lifestyle. So time zones are useless if you haven't figured out yet WHEN you are able to trade
