Drake Doremus is a genius. I dont know why critics panned this film. Maybe they lack emotional intelligence. This movie was beautiful, intense and it pulled every single emotional string I have in me. It was so powerful. It's my favourite romantic movie. Guys, watch this movie!
same! I can't understand how can anyone criticize this film, I couldn't find one flaw in it if I tried. It might not be someone's cup of tea a romantic movie, but then why would you go and see one just to bash it. It actually makes me annoyed, cause they did such an amazing job on every level, apparently the way he worked with them was wonderful as well and you can really tell in the interview, what great understanding they all have. Same with American Ultra and J.T. Leroy-also great acting, great music, the idea and execution and poor reception, I just don't get it.
He is a very talented director imo.
I absolutely love this scene. Everything leading to this scene makes it that much more powerful how she's trying to play that tough don't crack role but the way he looked at her and slowly broke her down to the point she just couldn't take it no more. She had to have a moment of total emotion packed affection i love this part so much lol

I like hearing Drake talk about the subtleties here. It's reason enough to see the rest of the movie. Which I suppose is the point of the video... amiright?
