Yeah mate cheers for the heads up about the dragon guarding the tower now I’m stuck in a infinite loop, poor information and miss guiding low levels to instant death
Don't listen to this guy. Just go buy the Nilfgaurdian Armor from the Quartermaster at Crows Perch... Until you unlock Wolven Armor. Then in Hearts of Stone, Aim for Viper Armor. And when you finally get to Blood and Wine, just go Wild. But I would recommend Manticore Armor.
I did this quest at level 11 so I was able to do the grotto and handle the Ekimmara at the end without any problem. But there was a level 20 leshen in there that kept 1-shotting me afterwards. That seems to be a random thing though since you didn't encounter it in there and after reloading a save after closing the game, I went back in and the leshen was gone. Ran into it again afterwards in the woods about a hundred or so yards to the west of the grotto.
Hey ESO I'm rocking the Griffin armor set now also! Almost level 15 and when 18 look for upgraded diagrams to craft. Thanks and Geralt needs to get wrecking haha.
GroundedOnTwo there’s no builds? Hmm, then why is there different Witcher armor with different stats? Wanna play a combat based build? Use cat armor. Signs? Griffin. Wanna be a mixture of both? Wolf. There are definitely builds in the game, I can help you if you’d like
Griffin armor might not be everyone favorite in term of look, but you can make sign heavy build Geralt, and just watch your enemies burn to death without lifting a sword

When I went into the Dragonslayers Grotto, the Leshen that spawns near the side of the mountain teleported into the Grotto and started attacking me. Surprisingly I got away despite being poison gassed and chased by wraiths
Just got this game gifted to me on my Xbox from a buddy. Started it last night. Should keep me out of trouble for awhile lol. Must be an awesome game. He played 3 times over and put in like 500 hours lol..
I did the monster grotto at lv 8 and had a nasty lv 26 leshen popping up after the Ekimara! luckily I saved before blowing up the stones to the chamber (the gas-corridor). You can actually climb up and they cant reach you. Fire the ekimara a couple of times with you crossbow and when the leshen spwans in he kills ekimara. I used stun and fire boms on him. jumped down hit him a couple of times, ran back to safetly ontop the stones...
This is so typical of me! I have explored about 90% of Velen and left just the underwater stuff lying around...and then these....Glad I checked this video, perfect time to completely finish Velen
The wolven armor is best when it is mastr crafted in the blood and wine dlc since it boosts your sign intensity and lets you imbue your swords with 3 enemy type oils.
And how often do you fight more than one enemy type to use the three oils? Heavy Armor is the way to go because of the high resistances (except for the Viper armor - very good stats)

I'm very late to the party. Just finished the Witcher on Netflix & I've started my first playthrough. Video is a huge help, can't wait to go on a treasure hunt when I get home, thanks ESO!
If anyone sees, be careful when trying to get the armour piece because for some odd reason at the entrance of the poisonous gas a lvl 20 leshens spawn. I manage to kill it because i had the two weapons in this video and cheesed it. I want to know if this happened to people as well because it took me by surprised
I'm new player I've tried the witcher twice before and got as far as the Griffin and baled on it but I just picked the ps4 version up again for a tenner and upgraded it to my ps5 version and with a little concentration this time I'm enjoying I to noticed the first time I went to the poisonous gas entrance I was only level 4 and when I blasted the walk down there was a beast in there and its level just had a red skull to indicate way to powerfull for me but then the devs must of patched it not long after bringing the ps5 update out coz I went bk today and just went through to the end if the gas where I had to break a stone barricade kill some antler looking level 11 creature and then I looted the Griffin set I'm now level 12 now and I've barely even touched any of the main quest line
same thing happened to me, however it takes damage from the gas and if you leave it for a second it will kill itself😂
I just found 5/6 griffin gear and confused how to enter the lighthouse in lornuk. so i'm looking for guidance and here i found it. Thanks a lot dude, it's really help. anyway i've crafted the armor with Fergus in Crows Perch cause it's more cheaper than any Blacksmith...
Why does everyone say it's hard to level in this game? Just do the side quests before they grey out before you do any main questline.
Sure you don't get as much xp for side missions but xp is xp
Not hard just slow at first, and as you said if people do all the side quests as you always should before main quests, then no big deal really.
@TheOfficialUnofficial Yeah defo agree with you there, I only started playing it as people where saying it's better than Skyrim. Not imo though, but for 10 quid it was a bargain with all dlc and is a very good game 👍
I did one of the Witcher treasure hunts and activating it, it will lead you to all the place mentioned in the video. Wondering how I had already been to all the places he had mentioned
Only with ESO do I get pumped to see a sponsor at the beginning. I root for you Danny! Your content is the best!
Anyone noticed that he has 1m coins and can carry weight of 1m?
theres a leshen now at the kikimora, loot fast before it spawns and wrecks you, leshen is lvl 20
"Because mathematics"
-ESO Danny 2020
Typical English man
It just works
Just started playing this thank you 😀
Great video thanks! But, you said that you were going to post a link telling us where to find the items for the swords and armor? I don't see the link.
Yeah mate cheers for the heads up about the dragon guarding the tower now I’m stuck in a infinite loop, poor information and miss guiding low levels to instant death
Amazing Guide! Well done with these Chapters in the Video :)) Just one question: Did you forgot the guide for the ingredients, or am I just blind?
I’m lost I can’t find the shirt any help even though this was a year ago 😅
Oh my God I just realized you were the Skyrim mod guy I used to watch everyday. Like all day. Thumbs up on your Witcher stuff, I'm addicted
Ursine? Feel like it could be a better set then wolven before H.O.T
Well Imo Feline armor is the Best, but you have to build around it- same with Ursine. But pure stat wise Wolven armor is the pre Post Heart of Stone.
Did you just assume my DIFFICULTY!!!
Great video clear and concise
Hey ESO I'm rocking the Griffin armor set now also! Almost level 15 and when 18 look for upgraded diagrams to craft. Thanks and Geralt needs to get wrecking haha.
Not sure if you just started this but your videos have caused me to pull it out and start a new game . Thanks for this eso
Never thought id see a Witcher 3 guide in 2020
Cheers mate. Can you please make an early game levelling build guide? Thanks
So where do I get the crafting material for this armor set? I’m still missing quite a few things
you can purchase from vendors or dismantle materials/junk
I purchased it three days ago and now I can’t stop playing, this game gives me old Fable remembers, anyone else?
Great eyes! I’m a more heavy armor, strong attack build myself
You will like the ursine armor.
Charlie Smith yes my friend!
@GroundedOnTwo Sorry they disappointed you with writing the best story ever told in a game.
GroundedOnTwo there’s no builds? Hmm, then why is there different Witcher armor with different stats? Wanna play a combat based build? Use cat armor. Signs? Griffin. Wanna be a mixture of both? Wolf. There are definitely builds in the game, I can help you if you’d like
I’m doing my first ever play through now. Thanks
Ingi? The 'g' comes before the 'n', mate.
He's actually dsylexic (like diagnosed I'm not saying it to be mean) I assume you are new and may not know that though. He's doin his best
Griffin armor might not be everyone favorite in term of look, but you can make sign heavy build Geralt, and just watch your enemies burn to death without lifting a sword
My favorite is Ursine School Gear.
Just bought this game today after watching some videos the past few weeks..Best part is, the GOTY edition was on sale for $10 on Microsoft..so that's even better..can't wait to get into the game!
Love your guides, keep up the good work.😁😁
good info .... for some great gear... the strength of The Witcher is the different schools and each having a distinctive weapon/armor set. The earlier in the game you can get each particular set and devote future play toward advancing that school, the more distinctive your Witcher will be.
I've been sticking to the witcher gear I've decided to go for the ursine armour I'm level 20 now and just collected the enhanced blueprints ready for a few levels time. The only sign I use really is the quen the bubble version is great for some emergency healing
Same, but I’m level 10.
About the Quen bubble not the ursine armor.
I'm level 12 just got these pieces and it was pretty challenging since my gear isn't amazing, but I got it all and now I'm ready to slash my way through the next few levels with this very decent gear, thanks ESO.
"Bethesda noob"
Who? ESO.
year? 2000
Sponsor? Conqueror’s blade.
Hotel? *Trivago* .
awesome i have been watching your channel over the last 8 or so ish years on skyrim quests tutorials etc
Killing the wyvern at lvl 2 feels like dark souls but those bugs are too powerful so i think one should start getting these blueprints at lvl9
dude you make your videos so thorough and precise. Thank you for not just skipping through crucial parts and really taking the time to show everything you need. I also picked up witcher 3 for PC and I'm super excited to get back into it, I'll be following your guides to get some good shit
Wow. I literally stumbled on this exact spot last night. Had no clue what I found and this video popped up today. Interesting
When I went into the Dragonslayers Grotto, the Leshen that spawns near the side of the mountain teleported into the Grotto and started attacking me. Surprisingly I got away despite being poison gassed and chased by wraiths
It ended up getting stuck in the gas and dying
The armorsmith and weaponsmith you showed at the end of the video are in Oxenfurt, not Novigrad.
i was so triggered when he said NovigraD
Level 11 is NOT early game ESO!
Funny, back then I watched your videos for Skyrim tips and guides...
Now I'm watching for witcher guides
I got attacked by a “Lechen” when i went to get the first piece of armor
Level 9 vs level 20 lechen was my experience in that cave
me too the poisson gaz saved me
Thank you for showing the underwater entrance to the lighthouse I couldn't find it!
bro there are a dragon and a deer at the location , I am only level 4 and they fucked me up so hard
Just got this game gifted to me on my Xbox from a buddy. Started it last night. Should keep me out of trouble for awhile lol. Must be an awesome game. He played 3 times over and put in like 500 hours lol..
I just started it at first it was boring for me but after i watched the witcher tv show suddenly im not bored playing it now lol
You’re level 20, I left the first area level 4 🤷♀️
Same! Definitely is not as easy as he makes out. Especially when I'm getting tag teamed
10:40 That's Oxenfurt not Novigrad.
2:37 when i was fighting that boss another large monster pop out of nowhere and i died of that monster
You can ignore that
Just try reloading the game and get the stuff before the monster comes back
@@phantomkrome8314 yeah mediate would be very useful
@@phantomkrome8314 also i tried to ignore that but it was still chasing me
@@Logaterasou which monster exactly because I found 3 high level ones in each location but don't remember the names...ik that one flies
Playing for the first time. What levels would be considered "early game?"
Lvl 10 maybe
3
Lv 12 is good fit this explore, coz at mt. Grotto sometimes Leshen ( lv 20) is spawn and distract your loot party.
This is so typical of me! I have explored about 90% of Velen and left just the underwater stuff lying around...and then these....Glad I checked this video, perfect time to completely finish Velen
I was literally in this Place 3:18 for days till I somehow glitched myself into the castle lol.
I did the same. Didn't even think that there might be an underwater entrance so with some jumping around I was in
@@berkk29 lol yeah same too.
yup i just rand jumped the main bridge gap and glitched onto the wall and climbed up and over
The wolven armor is best when it is mastr crafted in the blood and wine dlc since it boosts your sign intensity and lets you imbue your swords with 3 enemy type oils.
And how often do you fight more than one enemy type to use the three oils?
Heavy Armor is the way to go because of the high resistances (except for the Viper armor - very good stats)
I guess its up to preference sincr the build i have helps out a lot, and especially when it comes to the ui when imbuing your swords with the oils.
Your lvl 20, that is not early game, what to ware between lvl 5 and 15?
Ty for all the help
I subscribed in the past and unsubscribed many times to this channel but it's such a good channel I keep coming back and subscribing 😂
Me at level 7: This tacky gambeson is fine for now, thank you.
These are the vids I have been waiting for! And I fully admit it's because of my own personal OCD. When I play Witcher, I wear Witcher Gear exclusively asap.
2:35 video starts here boys
