Oh I also realized I forgot I was going to add a number 8 to the list which was "Lot's of free to play Web 3 games releasing." Excited for that one as it means we can all play together, even as Krills :D
I think you were pretty spot on with your predictions. A few things I would like to add... I don't think this will happen this year, maybe next year or the year after next. Once they find a way to make the start up process for gamers to be significantly less complicated (which probably will happen this year). Then it will take a lot of the stigma off Blockchain gaming. When that happens I believe we will see this shift of top web 2 games into the blackchain space. Basicly focusing on building a games like Fortnite, World of Warcraft, Marvel Snap, Call of Duty, Final Fantacy, Diablo, etc. Then once you have the following, the brand, and the revanue flowing. Taking the in-game items (more specificly the items that were only avalible for a limited time like holiday, and event gear), and opening a minting portal to turn those items into NFTs. Because 1, you now how a new Avenue for revanue, 2 the player base is there in minimize risk, and 3 if done with items that are no longer offered in game it raises the value significantly, and keeps the avaliblity low while rewarding the players that have really put time into the game. Like I said, this only becomes the best option under a few circumstances. 1 the game already needs a massive following, and player base before blockchain is implemented. 2 the blockchain startup process has to be simple, and almost automatic. And 3 the game needs to invest into thier own marketplace so they can benefit from the transactions. So the less blockchain literate players don't get overwhelmed by trying to sell tjier NFTs on 3rd party sites (even if it does means they could possibly get more ROI on thier NFTs on 3rd party sites).
Nice! I think you're spot on in a lot of ways. As you said I'm not sure that will take place this year but I think once the stigma of NFTs goes away then there will be a lot more possibility for what you are saying there.
great content, accurate predictions. thank you. personally I believe that some quality projects will show their differences this year. For example Cometh; they improved their game so well in 2022, with some awesome updates. also their gameplay, mechanics, economics and community are already top. I expect good things in the future.
Great predictions and I agree with them all. It's a shame the bad players have kinda put a negative connotation with the space. Maybe this new year brings a second wave of more responsible games being introduced and a second wave of smarter users who can spot the gems.
For sure! I think that’s actually one of the advantages of the bear market. Anything can be “successful” in a bull run but now we will see games that are successful only if their game is actually good😁

Good to hear! Haven't seen Cometh lately. What's the updates they have put in?

What’s your main channel? The link doesn’t work
Oops! Put the old link up. It's www.youtube.com/@BalthazarNFTGaming
Re-branded?!
Just changed the name because I’m not a huge fan of the term play to earn anymore. Or at least I don’t think it fits for the entire industry.
@@Luke_Jech yeah! That is why I used the “gaming” on my brand as well for the fun of it so that is does not limit me into P2E
