I rate Tom, but at international level he has had some shocker moments. Eddie Jones dropped him, not that that says much. I´d back the new Aussie environment to get the best out of him.

Wright and Toole have undeniable chemistry. Put them in the Wallabies with Junkyard Dog, and you have the most exciting back 3 in attacking rugby. Maybe bar South Africa, but that's bias.

If they don’t put those three in the back three then you know the coach is an absolute fool. If you want to score tries, here’s a theory; pick the highest try scorers in the team
Ryan, toole, flook, wright and the reds hooker to boot 👍

Christ, I wont mention SA as you already have.
and were all entitled to our own shouts, this might just be one of the craziest takes ive seen in a while.
      AB's - Clark, Jordan, Telea
      Scotland - VDM, Kinghorn, Graham
      Ireland - Lowe, Keenan, Hansen
FRANCE - LBB, Ramos, Penaud (the best attacking winger in the world)
      Italy - Ioane, Capuzzo, Lynagh
England - Waboso, Furbank, Freeman (younger than the Aus back 3 you've mentioned and already playing international rugby)
hope they can do well, as international rugby needs an AUS team in the top 5 for me, but bloody hell they've got a few years before they can be compared to anyone on that list bar Italy.

@@DanR-1994 Jordan is out for the year. Telea is off form. Clarke was in form for 2 matches in his life. Reece is the only AB back 3 worth talking about now.
Scotland perhaps. But Graham has been injured.
France - LBB lost the QF for France because he couldn’t catch. Ramos isn’t an attacking threat. Penaud is the best winger in the world.
No other back 3 is worth mentioning. Stop me when I’m telling lies.

When I heard the crowd was dying out at Rugby Union matches I wondered why. It’s a good game to watch. I’m a multi sports fan so watch a lot of sports live.
I’m in Perth recovering from surgery after donating a kidney to my brother. I went and saw the West Coast Eagles last night and whilst at that game noticed the Brumbies were playing in Perth. I looked at the time. Not enough time to get from Optus to HBF after the Eagles game.
Now I can’t be the only multi sports fan in Australia or Perth. Trying to compete against the AFL in Australia is madness. If this had been happening all season across the country, no need to analyse why crowd attendances have dropped in Rubgy Union…

    • @chrishodgson2247

Probably because AUSTRALIAN RUGBY social media platforms censor every discussion on them. You can’t be critical in any way or your comments are blocked.
Every RUGBY social media page has thousands and thousands of followers, the wallaby Twitter page has 300,000 followers and there is never more than a couple comments on each post.
That is because of censorship. By them!

No wonder the Rebels can’t make money and are getting booted from the comp. Not surprised with low attendance in Perth either.
Even if you choose to compete with AFL on the same night how about give multi sports fans time to get from one venue to another
Anyway it is what it is. Next time Rugby Australia release crowd figures and the drop it’s not rocket science as to why.

Welp, the Brumbies and Reds have a challenging quarterfinals ahead of them on kiwi soil in the Reds case and Brumbies hosting as the top two AU sides, especially when the Rebels axing should help strengthen all four AU sides and good for the Wallabies in the long run.

    WTF was that last kick?
While sad for Melburnians, the demise of the Rebels should at strengthen the remaining Aussie SR franchises. Too many mis-matches in the competition make for some very dull rounds, with one-sided multi-try shellackings on a weekly basis. Next step, bring back the Argies, get a franchise each from Canada and USA, and follow that with one from Chile and one from Japan in the next few years (but get it right this time, no cobbled-together paper tiger outfits like the Sunwolves).
