My father served in the British Armed forces in Germany and he played for his regiment's rugby team along with several Fijians. They were amazing rugby players and massive personalities off field. My best friend was Fijian, we were in school together and he would support Wales during the then 5 nations and I'd return the compliment whenever Fiji were playing. Love watching Fijian rugby, fast, powerful and sublime ball handling skills. Go Drua!!

I remember world cup 2007 when Fiji knocked us out at the group stage. My heart was broken but it was and still is one the best rugby matches i have seen. It had everything, amazing tries, try saving tackles, you name it that game had it.

I think france and ireland peaked too early, based on super rugby performances wallabies and all blacks look lethargic, the spring boks appear to be...well i dunno about the boks, anyway this appears to be an interesting world cup.
From the 1st super rugby season I said they needed a pacific island team in there. Originally i reckoned a single combined team, but as the comp has expanded these pacifika sides are bloody brilliant. Better than even i expected

Drua players that needs to be automatic selections for the Fiji Team is #4, #2 and the two flankers. Their workrate is unmatched everytime they play. We need this kind of consistent players. The rest of the Drua players should also be a threat to the overseas base players especially having the fitness to play 80minutes games. We don't need superstars, we need players who can play 80 minute games. Masi is also a threat as he is very silky in slipping away from defenses. #11 as you can see comes from our local clubs and see how destructive snd hungry our local players are to represent their country. Please the world cup team needs the fitness of this Drua player's.

If kemu valentini can improve his play making skills he should make it to the national team as well. Due to him not missing conversions and penalty kicks, drua were able to take the lead. He is the best kicker that Fiji has

Has good boot as well. to be first choice for Matawalu is not at the moment, but he is 100% need to be in the Fijian team at the moment. Be it as a backup or a starter. They are 3 spots for the halfback and he should be in the name.
Yeah didn't even check with the tmo at least. This has happened a few times this year in Drua games. They were robbed against the Reds when one of their tries was clearly from a knock on and it wasn't even checked. They're like the NZ Warriors of Super Rugby.

I remember last year watching it on tv when they faced at Sky Stadium (Wellington), we got thrashed (67 - 5) and that one hurt bad because hurricanes didnt give us a chance at all, shoved it into us everytime they scored a try. He was also the one that won the game against crusaders with his penalty kicks. Teti tela cost Fiji alot of point with his missed penalties and conversions in previous games.
