I've watched every one ur Contender videos. Just picked up a 2000 25 Open with twin 200 Zukes about 2 weeks ago. Should be water-worthy in about 2-3 weeks. Fixing some wiring gremlins & learning the boat and doing some motor maintenance. Sweet rig sir! Can't wait to be on the water and experience it for myself!
Good walk thru captain. I have a 26cc sailfish with forward seating and use it exclusively for offshore out of VA and NC. Do i wish it was an open design, absolutely but it does work for us with the 2 big front fish boxes and infloor storage. I also have twin 200 yamahas and the fuel efficiency is insane. We burn typically around 80 gallons or so on 70 mile run to the canyons troll all day and back. Cannot complain about that. Cruise for us is around 32mph and burn rate is about 2.6 mpg depending on sea state. Anyways keep up the good videos and tight lines.
the only positive i would say for forward seating on some boats, is like a seahunt where they do not provide any below deck storage like we have, the forward seating gives more storage space, but I wouldn't have it
Good walk thru! “I’m just out there Angling” no need for forward seating however Bean Bags work for the kids. You are correct about the Contender waterline length and due to complaints in the SKA circuit Contender changed to loa for true length. I have the 25T formerly the old 23T. Mine is also a 2005. Keep the videos coming! 👍

Heck yeah man. That’s an incredible fuel burn rate. These 200’s are sippers for sure.
