I am absolutely shocked your video doesn't have a thousands of likes. Great work, everything clearly understandable, even when I had problem I could tweak some and get things back to OK myself (I'm not new to CAD, but it was my first attempts in Grasshopper). Speed is also cool, I was able to follow you along and not repeat again and again. Doing this for free is hell of a generous thing to do. Thank you so much for your help and inspiration!
I saw this video and ignored it since I already started learning dynamo, the Alias Dynamo integration with construction history is really cool but I learned that the hard way through trial and error. Now I see why you prefer grasshopper. The community 🙌 and the generous amount of resources. Thanks Ray, this was my first introduction to grasshopper. I'll try to keep learning a bit from both applications. You're an amazing teacher ✌️
Can you please tell me how to render the file after making in grasshopper, clearly step by step in Lumion My initial problem is ,the file I made in grasshopper isn't showing in rhino, I mean it's showing but not unavailable to export, it seems blank when I open those file in another software, like blank file opening..but showing me the image while in rhino
Thank you for this tutorial. I have a question, how can we import the curves created in rhino to blender? I am also modelling a car in blender and want to have some custom patterns over it. But I am unable to interoperate the workflow between the two softwares. Also, blender doesn't have the option of importing the .iges file.
Im curious about getting into Alias for industrial design...is a Quadro card required? Can you handle heavyish models without one? I don't care about fancy shading per say..
Alias is far more advanced than Rhino in term of surface sculpturing, workflow with " pivot point ", interactive real-time feedback, user interface & the marking menu. It is not easy to pick up, but once you ride on the track. It is a joyful working with it. Alias, an art piece born in Canada.

Outstanding tutorial , learned a lot ! Thank you.
Thank you, God Bless.
SUCH a good tutorial !
Thanks! This is awesome! Clear, applicable! Subscribing
Awesome video!!! Could you make others on grasshopper applied to industrial design ?
Angelo Zappalà it’s in my to-do list for this year 😅 it’s pretty long list though
Can't wait!
you did a great job! thx
Outstanding ! Thank you.
Hello can you provide a blue print for that car ?

My blender videos explain that process
@@HandleBar3D I got it, after installing a plugin for .dxf imports.
@@HandleBar3D link ? What video?

picosdrivethru you can definitely use a normal 1070 or 1060 gpu. I myself have been using a 1080 for a couple years now.
@@HandleBar3D that's great to know! thank you :)
Why do you model in Alias and not Rhino?
I model some things in Rhino but Alias is much better for high end surfacing needed in Automotive design.

If we look into cost of license - rhino vs alias 🤔 rhino would be the best tool to design
