I was thinking a similar thing. I have seen them like 12+ times live. One thing I notice is they often do what the Dead did in my favorite Dark Star Jams. Emulate some popular tune. Andrew Sprague: I love these guys - confess I've never seen them live. Sometimes though I feel there's too much heavy effects. Wonder if Jerry lived long enough to have all these special effects available, would he have avoided such heavy reliance? It seems to be a style thing with JRAD.

Absolutely love Scott's single string pull off to open runs, have tried to incorporate those into my playing!
