I’d like to thank you because you’ve really helped me. I was skeptical about peroxide, but so far it’s the only thing that works. Day 7 and piercing bump is almost GONE!!
Thank you SO much for this video!! And your honesty. I went through the same stuff and was confused as to why I couldn't find out why mine was still sore "years" after. Glad to know it's not just mine. I had mine done 4 years ago (1 forward helix & 1 tragus), they are still slightly sore to sleep on to this day.
I had my conch pierced a year ago and i still can’t sleep on it! i started doing the method i did here and the bump went away. but when i stopped doing the method it came back. So i’m going to be using peroxide and tea tree oil until it’s gone and no longer hurts then after some time it should be all good.
I mean I LOVE them and they have been fine for over a year now but i did have one horrible year with them😂 So going back I don’t know if i would get it or not
Although it seems to vary greatly from piercing shop to piercing shop, from state to state, we have a lot of option here in Kansas anyway Wichita Kansas, you can get pierced with some pretty elegant jewelry if you’re willing to pay the price for it of course some of these pieces of jewelry that can go in like say your triple forward helix or double forward helix or conch, or daith or any of those could cost you up words to $500 just for the piece of jewelry but I have healed out seven piercings at one time so I’m being trick your heels than others and I’ve never had an issue other than maybe with my double eyebrow and we all know eyebrow piercings get a little touchy from time to time…. I do get them at least a couple of weeks apart from each other usually and I only get three done the max at a time and usually if I’m trying to heal a more difficult heal I will only get too done at a time unless I have Others already healing. I am currently trying to heal out a rook piercing and a flat piercing wanting any suggestions
rook peircings seem to be the the trickiest! i had mine pierced 8 years ago and it got infected. that was my first infected piercing and it would always heal then get infected again. i ended up taking it out for boot camp but i know other people who took their rook out because of the infections. my best advice is tea tree oil and peroxide! as long as your not allegoric or sensitive to those things
actually i was wondering if i remove the piercing and put a classic earring in it instead of. It has a smaller and skinny bar and i would hope it would heal easier and faster 🤓😩
I never hear a crunch when I had cartlidge piercings. I totally agree its uncomfortable. Similarly to the daith. The healing of this is more painful than the daith. No after pain after 2 days with daith
hi Faith ty for getting back to me. I got mine last Friday so it’s been a week. After 3 days i had to wash my hair and i felt so lucky that i did not have any pain or swelling that i tried to sleep on my ear i held my phone on my ear and i think my hair got stuck in it. Now after a week it’s swollen red(ish) sore and it even hurts when i smile. Did you have the same ???
@@ese2463 I don’t remember mine hurting when I smiled but it hurt if my ear was touched, it hurt when I slept, it hurt when my hair touched it. In the video I talk about what I used to help with the infection. It helped me I just had to use tea tree oil and peroxide everyday with a qtip. I’m not a doctor so I can’t tell you what’s best to do only give you advice on what worked for me.

I appreciate your honesty!! I was thinking about getting these but now rethinking it. They look so good but you’re totally right that beauty is pain 😂

There long to leave room for all the swelling..
Link to your jewelry?

That could potentially work. But then you’ll never be able to most likely get the earring that are in your ear now back in.

Did daith ever get infected?
Peroxide is not something they normally tell you to put on piercings
They didn’t tell me to it’s just what I have always done. Everyone has their own things they like to do and this is mine
@@FaithMancuso And peroxide has always worked for me too. I’ve used it for years!
@@tammi_michelle so happy to know it works for someone else as well!
@@FaithMancuso Yup sometimes you have to take it back ‘old skool’ like our mamas taught us
My piercer actually recommended peroxide to me as an other option it definitely does work.
did it bleed?
No, when it was infected it didn’t bleed. More so ooz clear stuff. Gross but worth jt
