Ya know, I really like how experessive Catnap was. While both versions still carry that hint of somberness, I think that Catnap's shows more of that within his mannerisms. Catnap is more toned down but you can still get a feel for the guilt he carries. Anyway, good video! :³
The catnap version is, in my head, basically just the kid who was assigned to have catnap as their toy, and the kid who ended up being chapter 3’s antagonist insulting each other about they way they look when suddenly catnap (c3) has a mental breakdown about the fact 1006 no longer cares about him because he didn’t serve his purpose and got 1006 caught, and desperately tries seeking validation from his “friend”
I would have to say, both are good and do things differently. Some hit expressions sharper than the other. Copy cat does well, but doesn't use the space well when he dips to the left side of the screen which compositionally not good; however uses twisting of the spine better as example. To say one is better is not exactly fair, but do it differently. I like both for their own reasons.
