I loved it. Really enjoying your content. I'm astonished that you poured such a big area on your first try. And the smell must have been magnificent. Hope your brain is okay. - I thought it might have been a nice addition to take your scenic wave gel and make huge circular air blasts in the water under the two mobile suits but I realised at the end that you intended to change their positions for photos.
I now want to see Papa G in a Lowe's commercial hyping the DeWalt brand. Fantastic job on the diorama! If you were to do another one, what changes would you make in your methodology?
@@ItsAGunpla Gundum If you need any inspiration for rough sea scapes check out Studio Blue Ocean YT channel. I'm afraid he makes it look easy, but I know it really isnt. Great diorama.
Haven't built a model in about 7 years, your channels have inspired me to build again and to also get into customisation of kits with painting, scribing, and dioramas.
The first 20 seconds of this video have more effort and production values than 90% of the trash on this platform. The whole video was a pleasure though. Like watching Luke Cowan discover synthwave.
What sells it is not just the building process and the gundam models. Its the production and the selection of tracks playing on the background. Its relaxing. I love how PapaGundam is all dying and stressed out on his main channel and meanwhile this channel is a place to sit back and chill as he quietly goes about his art.
I always appreciate very well-made dioramas. Resin could be very fickle to work with but in the right hands; it makes the best water features. 🎩 🐍 no step on snek! 🇺🇸🇭🇰
Holy shit, I came here thinking Gundam would be doing some crafts, all while doing his normal funny ass shit talking, little did I expect such a god damned masterpiece of a video
Really impressive dude. Your modelling skills are excellent, I've always shied away from dioramas for all the work involved, especially water based ones. That resin water came out great. On top of that though, the camera work, lighting and editing are all really superb. My one suggestion, modify the figures in the row boat so they are freaking the eff out, "Its a Gundam! Ahhhh"
I tell you what, that water made me feel like i was looking out of a drop ship transport of some sort. Rockets blasting the water. Blew my mind. Your talents and authenticity of character are superb. Make a art exhibit man. Make a dozen or so. Sell one or two large commission . $$. I would pay to walk through a gallery of this. You would be a hit darling! Also if i make it in crypto i will order one to help the cause. Bravo dude keep them coming.
Ugh I can only dream of having the ability to do such a cool diorama that’s also customizable. Gunpla is a very niche genre of hobbying and so is Dioramas and model making. Being able to combine all that turns a hobby into art in my opinion.
Man, I always loved watching and listening to you on the 43 other channels you run. But it wasn't until I watch Adam Savage put together the Rx-78-2 100:1 scale perfect grade unleashed that I finally understood how good a snap model could be. Then to watch him nerd out about dry brushing and shooting at scale, then to watch him realize the Gundam painting scene may be beyond even his scope.
Goddamn, Papa G. Brilliant diorama for brilliant mechs from a brilliant film. Picked up my own Xi vs Penelope set after seeing your painted Xi. P.s. if you get on EFAP again, you gotta tell the crew that their souls are weighed down by gravity!
IMO the soil around the lighthouse could've been darker. The sea section could use a lot more ripples & crashing waves especially when you have two powerful Gundams battling above it. Otherwise, it looks cool 👍.
This video is like therapy. You have really mastered your craft. Thank you for sharing the journey with us. Keep being the inspiration we all need. Thank you for your hard work. Absolutely awesome.
This is incredible... I have a thought of creatin a diorama of the scene where gundam shows up with the lighthouse in the movie of Doan's island and this certainly helps me!!! Thanks and keep going!
Love the videos, you always have the best backing music. Also you got me into airbrushing like 2 years ago, I'm not up to your level, but I'll get there. Keeping being a insperation Papa Gundam.
Single handedly from the build to the editing & vid 🙌🙌🙌 amazing job Gundam. #talented #gunplaskills Stu’s excuse was that he was recovering from a bone marrow transplant 😆he couldn’t help.
Man i was waiting for this one to come out so much, working on my 3rd diorama now (Barbatos VS VIdar) but haven't touched on the whole resin water thing yet. A bit scarred of it i might say. Hopefully this one will be as inspiring as your other work and motivate me to take up that next challenge. Thank you Pappa Gundam!
Wow. Incredible builds. Lots of hard work truly paid off. You really get a feel for the scale of the Gundams in your diorama. Excellent work as always!
I get the fact you paint tiny robots and have taken years to perfect the craft but mannnnn you got down nasty on this scenic setting diorama. This one has a very eloquent peaceful vibe followed up by two Gundams having a all out guns blazing fight which in my opinion definitely brings the piece full circle. I would love to see the weathered Barbatos in a kinda volcanic setting waiting patiently for opponent whilst pieces of rock magma and ash come falling down. Just an idea!
Wow this looks amazing gundam. Not only are u intelligent interesting and a funny person but you are so talented. I have just ordered my first gunpla kit thru watching your vids. I used to build alot of airfix models when I was young so I thought this to be the perfect hobby to get back into. Also I love the gundam serieses. Your work is amazing and so inspiring. Keep on being u u are amazing bro
Well I missed its release but that doesn’t change the fact that it is great to see you building up your skills I mean if I compare this piece with your first one it is like night and day
@@ItsAGunpla it's very cool well worth the effort only way to make it cooler would be if you somehow added a green screen so you could add rain and storm effects.
Really fantastic work! Just watch out though or with this level of dedication you will be building the lighthouse miniature-brick by miniature-brick if you're not careful!
My first attempt at a Resin Diorama.😅
Keep doing what you love bro I'll be here to see how far you go don't let this world take that away from ya 😋 @ItsAGunpla
You did the danm thing

Good job. That is great work. The joining of the lighthouse to the rest of the diorama could be improved. Other than that it is amazing.
Now to put it in for the county fair.... >.>

Well throughout these years Papa Gundam has improved himself so far, really motivated video

Fantastic job on the diorama! If you were to do another one, what changes would you make in your methodology?
I would have planned out adding blast effect BEFORE pouring resin.

Seeing you hold power tools makes me feel some type of way. 😍
It's a damn shame that your gunpla videos aren't more popular, I can watch these kinds of videos all day.

I swear your work belongs in a museum. You truly have a gift, Gundam.
Man I don't see myself watching anyone else's videos on Gunpla from now on. I didn't know you had this channel until today.

Give it up to the hardest working man on youtube. You make it look so easy and effortless. Mad respect.
I'd love to see a Mandolorian kit done with the Papa Gundam head. The Gundalorian!
Bro I love videos like this. I wish there where more. It really sets the mood in the atmosphere when you trying to represent a moment.
Absolutely no one is going to mention the TRUE centerpiece of this diorama??? Ole Mittens Bernie @14:33 😂😂😂 Well done, Papa G!
Really dope dude the lighthouse honestly the best part. bernie was a nice touch lmao

Obviously everyone is going to point out the amazing Diorama but I can't help but admire the clean camera work dude
The landscaping is beautiful too
Screw the 2 downvotes, they WISH they could have a fraction of the talent you got, PapaGundam!
14:39 LOL!
Great work Gundam!!!

Amazing. Papa Gundam really knows how to make content.
It’s insane the amount of detail and heart you put into these
I feel like randy marsh watching the cooking channel "fuck yeah weather the shit of that lighthouse, oh thats hot". Great work PapaGundam!
I think there is a conspiracy by Susan against this channel too. I'm subscribed...but it didn't show up in my feed.
Great video! You do amazing work.

Great job, buddy! The amount of work and detail that's in the diorama.. let alone the two kits is a testament to your skill as a builder.
The whole process of building the diorama was amazing. The level of detail and the work that went into it. Truly a beautiful piece.
Looks like itsagunpla has turn into a hand modeling channel.

one kick ass job! Looks out standing!
LOL'd at the Bernie in the chair.
Damn.... That's pretty awesome... Especially if you never made one before...
Nice job dude, not bad at all for a first attempt.
Papa Gundam stepping his game all the way up
Beautiful work of art man. Since this is your first Resin Diorama, I can't wait to see how great you are going to become with time!
Behind the scenes fun fact. The light house is made from the worn inside sleeve to Xil's last flesh light.
Wow. Incredible builds. Lots of hard work truly paid off. You really get a feel for the scale of the Gundams in your diorama. Excellent work as always!

If that was a first attempt, I can imagine how amazing the subsequent dioramas will be. Amazing work as always.

none of the furnal missile seem to hit their target but RIP the boat XD
Solid Work Papa Gundam !

wow amazing job as always
13:50 Lovely
Now all we need is the soundtrack of the video to be a copyright free version of the Gymnopedies.
Do you sell these pieces? That is an absurd amount of detail
Hey you did the thing I wanted just as cool as I thought it would be so I suppose that means you already had the idea lol
it was an idea I was kicking around and decided to make happen rather than taking a year to do it like my other projects.
@@ItsAGunpla it's very cool well worth the effort only way to make it cooler would be if you somehow added a green screen so you could add rain and storm effects.
Absolutely stunning papa Gundam..👏😻
I’d love to see more passion projects like this.. 💋
Yoo, this is dope! Great work, man. 😎
It looks great Gundam!
THERE'S A GUNDAM DOWN HERE!
Looks fucking amazing, now I want to try to do a diorama for a gunpla build, keep up the brill work
Great build!
Good job Gundam!👌🏻
Phenomenal Work! This was really relaxing to watch, thank you!
Sick bruh! Always inspirational!
This is making me want to make my own diorama
I just realised how dumb I am for tearing away the label with photos attached to my woodland scenics moulds....
lmao!
Really fantastic work! Just watch out though or with this level of dedication you will be building the lighthouse miniature-brick by miniature-brick if you're not careful!
You should do a large scale battle diorama!!!!
Exquisite work, papa!
XD Where'd you find a Bernie Sanders mini lol. For those who missed it, its at 14:33
This is art.
why is the music so good
Awesome, Keep up the good work!!
Awesome dude!
Lad in the boat be like - well fucking hell did I pick a wrong day for boating.
Make me a little fish Diorama daddy gundam!!!
The only question I have is how do you have the space to display that beast of a diorama?
God damn, son. It's most impressive
Beautiful
Damn Chaz, you've lost a shit ton of weight, Good on you son!
Not bad gundam. Not bad at all.
very good
Looks fucking mint dude
