Welcome to one of the best discography of the whole music industry. Since their debut they brought us amazing songs, not just their title tracks but also b-sides. One of their nickname is B-side Queens...so you have to check their albums out. Every album or mini album is different because they play with their concepts so they switch them out a lot. Because of that, they have wonderful songs and albums. Something is red (poppy, bright, pop sound), something is velvet (dark, smooth, r&b sound) or both. If you check their album in chronological order, you won't regret it. They have songs for everybody. And yes, everybody in this group can sing so well and rap also.😊

People tend to not know them directly or only know their most popular songs and tend to always agree they're slept on as a group. But in they're really not. They actually do really well on charts both domestically and internationally (they were named the best kpop group alive by Billboard). they are what a lot of fans would call the top three in girl groups (in the third gen of kpop) alongside Twice and Blackpink. Their only downfall is that even though they're popular their fans aren't particularly active the way other groups are. their fans (reveluvs) rarely participate much in group voting and such. and their their label (SM Entertainment) doesn't do much to support them either (joy, the member on the right, took control during this "chill kill" comeback season and planned a lot of promotions herself) Wendy (the girl on the left you guys are obsessed with) is also notably known to be called the best voice in all of third-gen (some also say in all of kpop but who knowns ;) ) at about 23:00 you ask how much is the Disney princess pop vs the other side--- little did you know that's the whole point to red velvet! Red is the pop, bright, and experimental side of them. and Velvet is the mature, rnb, femine, sometimes sexy, and even more vocally forward side to them please keep up reacting to red velvet they are known for their extremely diverse discography as shown here and their extremely unique comeback themes. I find risky to listen to Red Velvet’s Killing Voice without at least watching/listening to their title tracks. First, you will not appreciate the songs and their vocals to the fullest. Second, you’ll just gonna have a lot of questions resulting to judgement. Killing Voice is a gift to Reveluvs and to those who appreciate their songs especially the B-Sides that are never gotten a chance to sing live. Glad they appreciate the Cake Girl’s voices as it is. Red Velvet is a treasure.
welcome to the rabbit hole called Red velvet aka the fabulous cake girls! Man I first heard psycho and wanted to hear more and then saw the music video and have never looked back ever since as I was so hooked! If you cover their discography you will have so much content as they have so many concepts although they do have the Red (fun, happy, energetic and poppy side) and the Velvet (sultry, R&B and downright sexy and dark) Though they also switch it up and have both concepts in a song or era. May you find the song that really hooks you with the cake girls.

I've been on your reactions for Seventeen and this is my ULT GROUP right here! Seventeen broke through and joined them, but Red Velvet is number one forever and always. I'm SO HAPPY you're seeing them now! YES. The vocals. Alllll the vocals. They have such great range both with the diversity of their songs, as well as the vocal ranges because they don't always sit in a higher register we get lower range vocals, too - and then there's the differences in their tones. I would love it if you reacted to the MV for Russian Roulette and look at the lyrics separately (because the MV is so old it doesn't have lyrics attached) because I noticed you wondering about the sound and connection to the title. Also Red Flavor, because that is such an iconic track of Red Velvet, it would be great for you to see the MV. Welcome to one of the best discography of the whole music industry. Since their debut they brought us amazing songs, not just their title tracks but also b-sides. One of their nickname is B-side Queens...so you have to check their albums out. Every album or mini album is different because they play with their concepts so they switch them out a lot. Because of that, they have wonderful songs and albums. Something is red (poppy, bright, pop sound), something is velvet (dark, smooth, r&b sound) or both. If you check their album in chronological order, you won't regret it. They have songs for everybody.

There are basically different sides to Red Velvet. Basically, the REALLY bright, candy-pop, cutesy-girly songs are their 'Red' side. Their slower, adult, seductive, sultry R&B stuff is their 'Velvet' side. And then they have songs that do BOTH. Compare what you heard at the beginning of this video with what you heard at the end, and then with what is in the middle. :)

Red Velvet, the queen of harmonies, discography and vocals. I've known them all my life and yet here am surprised with Irene lower register and it's so damn smooth. I even like their raps, it's distinctive KPOP, a melodic rap which I like. They are truly one of a kind.

People tend to not know them directly or only know their most popular songs and tend to always agree they're slept on as a group. But in they're really not. They actually do really well on charts both domestically and internationally (they were named the best kpop group alive by Billboard). they are what a lot of fans would call the top three in girl groups (in the third gen of kpop) alongside Twice and Blackpink. Their only downfall is that even though they're popular their fans aren't particularly active the way other groups are. their fans (reveluvs) rarely participate much in group voting and such. and their their label (SM Entertainment) doesn't do much to support them either (joy, the member on the right, took control during this "chill kill" comeback season and planned a lot of promotions herself)
Wendy (the girl on the left you guys are obsessed with) is also notably known to be called the best voice in all of third-gen (some also say in all of kpop but who knowns ;) )

I find risky to listen to Red Velvet’s Killing Voice without at least watching/listening to their title tracks. First, you will not appreciate the songs and their vocals to the fullest. Second, you’ll just gonna have a lot of questions resulting to judgement. Killing Voice is a gift to Reveluvs and to those who appreciate their songs especially the B-Sides that are never gotten a chance to sing live. Glad they appreciate the Cake Girl’s voices as it is. Red Velvet is a treasure.

If you cover their discography you will have so much content as they have so many concepts although they do have the Red (fun, happy, energetic and poppy side) and the Velvet (sultry, R&B and downright sexy and dark) Though they also switch it up and have both concepts in a song or era.

a little information, red velvet is the queen of vocals, the queen of visuals, queen of b-side and the queen of harmonization, no one can make harmonization as beautiful as red velvet, when the Vocal Line (Wendy Seulgi Joy) has to sing high notes or adlibs, there are Irene and Yeri who maintain the harmony so that the song remains good, they themselves fill in the adlibs for the song layering for the song too, and BILLBOARD named red velvet as "BEST IDOL GROUP ALIVE" hopefully you will have more time to watch red velvet again, especially the behind recording, thank you very much for appreciating red velvet

I count Wendy (far left) among the top 3 vocalists I've heard in kpop along with Wheein and Solar. Having Seulgi (2nd from left) in your group is like having a super power. Their Red side is bright and poppy (Red Flavor), the Velvet side (Psycho) is more R&B and mature sounding. Mamamoo are shy but they are closest to Red Velvet among idols; Wendy hosted a radio show with Dreamcatcher SuA as a regular guest for about a year.

Red Velvet is a group that's hard for me to pinpoint how I feel about them bc they have their Red vibe and their Velvet vibe so they end up being hit or miss with me because I only really like their more Velvet vibe songs or the songs that are at least a mix of the two vibes. Like, gimme Automatic or Bad Boy or Psycho all day long but ngl I can't handle Zimzalabim, Ice Cream Cake or Dumb Dumb back to back.

YES. The vocals. Alllll the vocals. They have such great range both with the diversity of their songs, as well as the vocal ranges because they don't always sit in a higher register we get lower range vocals, too - and then there's the differences in their tones.
I would love it if you reacted to the MV for Russian Roulette and look at the lyrics separately (because the MV is so old it doesn't have lyrics attached) because I noticed you wondering about the sound and connection to the title. Also Red Flavor, because that is such an iconic track of Red Velvet, it would be great for you to see the MV.
Then I'd also recommend a couple of Japanese MVs - Sappy and Wildside - since they were not included and hopefully you can get a chance to see those, they are both so different from each other and very fun and Red Velvet.
