Musa you can't imagine the effect of this choreography when it came out,it was HUGE... This movie and this dance step made Hrithik a superstar overnight... Its still recognized as one of the signature dance step of Hrithik!!And ofc Hrithik deserved that, looks, dancing,acting,charisma... He's got everything a superstar needs. It was his debut movie...and he just NAILED it.
Context is very important for this song… the movie hits a turning point during this song.
This movie is amazing, one of my favs. Hrithik became an overnight sensation because of this movie. I don't wanna spoil it just in case u watch it, but the reason why she was frozen was because she was in shock. The guy basically looked exactly like a man she was in love with. The dance is soo iconic tho, like damn Hrithik can dance and the song is a TUNE

ROFL I'm here for Musa dragging Ameesha Patel's (lack of) acting skills and the ridiculousness of 90s-early 2000s bollywood scriptwriting 😂😂 Although to be fair to her, if you knew the context in which this song takes place and the mind blowing revelation she's just had, you'd forgive her for her frozen expression and in fact might think it to be quite apt too! 🤪
SRK is the biggest superstar in Bollywood and the only one that came close to taking over was Hrithik Roshan from this movie alone that changed the Millennium. 2000 introduced the new stars and none of them were able to break through unlike Hrithik who was an over night sensation but unfortunately he didnt last too long and SRK is still King.
