Neuts are what kill marauders quick, taking out the bhaal from the equation was good choise, but you have a long way to go in picking targets area. Kills squishy hard dps ships first, leave the phoboses with large amount of resists and ehp last, you're going to be pointed out anyhow, and whatch your modules more carefully, anyways good job of having the ballz to take out a marauders into the fight, keep practicing. good stuff =)
Module management, with ancils, because you have limited charges, it is very common to always heat them so you get the most rep per charge. In the beginning of your fight you were over repping alot. You prioritized getting your scram on over your invuln which I think was a mistake. The invuln could have helped negate alot of the incoming damage to help keep you on the field longer and allowing you to make it to reload. Target selection, picking the bhaalgorn first was a wise choice, but i think (i'm speculating on the ships fit) the praxsis was probably the next best choice. Better signature to apply torp damage too especially with you not having your target painter and it was likely your next biggest threat probably being the other neuting ship. Under the neut pressure you are more in survive situation than trying to get kills. Once you force the neuts off and you gain better control of your cap maybe then you'd be able to start focusing on being able to better utilize your fit to get some kills and possibly extract. Just my 2 cents and I hope to see more videos from you.
Glad I watched this video! Im fully trained for golem and all its weapons and plan on running solo. I was planning on running a X large deadspace rep and then Cap booster with 3200s in it for cap. Ill also run a heavy Nos to help. Im wondering which build is superior for an encounter like this? The dual ancillary will certainly cost alot less isk then the deadspace rep though
Remember to manage your ancils... keep them heated and pulse them, don't forget about them and leave them on unnecessarily like you did at the start of the fight :)
Nice vid! Always like to watch these kind of fights, 1 strong ship against many. Bringing the fax was the biggest dick move I have seen ( a single golem with a scram? common guys) shame on white sky.
Yep even bringing a bhalgorn is kinda meh, for the same price you can bring a bunch of smaller ships and get a good fight out of it instead of just chasing the kill mail.
You should remember to overheat your modules a bit. After the vampire fled, i think going for the Praxis's and Gnosis's was more reasonable. That Apostle drop was a cunt move, is all I'am gonna say.
@naPasik 2storm I thought it was a great fight and you have to learn some how. White Sky certainly fought you with what would kill you. Little surprised the second Bhag didn't come play. Don't listen to @Versace Tudo. My thoughts....after the fight and seeing what happened is 1 x medium NOS and 2 x neuts instead of 3 neuts. Watch the ammo type (now you know). Keep taking out the most deadly ships to you. Neuters, (I suspect praxis was neut cuz after bhalg died you were still capped out, Kronos had a neut on you too. If he was Neut Heavy up top in some way that would have been a tough nut to crack), then easy DPS which is talos, gnosis, etc...Phobos was meh. Once the FAX arrived I'm surprised anything died but I think that last ship died during his lock time to help. lol Too far gone. Great fun, big balls! Subscribed lol
well chasing bhalgorn was OK shooting highest resistance ship out of everything on grid bad idea ;] personally would go tornado maby gnosises but the lack of cap boosters well m8 instead neuts should take noses if you go without cap boosters just to keep modules alive. Sad to see this golem dying due to capacitor negligence, it would still die due to neuting but would not be dry all the time
the problem with that is that when you fit a Golem with ASBs and you have 5 midslots left..you will also need SBA for rep power and MSH for resists which leaves you with 3 midslots ...then you will need a target painter to take advantage of Golem s TP bonus...then warp disruptor or scram which leaves you with one midslot....that midslot is pointless to fit with cap booster because you have ASBs and you wont have space anymore for their charges....and if you mix ASB and cap booster charges you wont last long because they will finish quick...so its either shield booster with cap booster or ASBs with a large cap battery
@@napasik2storm yeah I get it. But you fit 3 neuts and 2 asb without any regard of capacitor. It would be ok if you would fight a solo battleship or even 2. But this is a T2 battleship. It is bound to be neuted. A single small a-type neut to fight off scram frigs and heavy/medium noses to keep modules alive would prolong that fight soo much. Could not scram, could not grapple, could not keep multispectral running. Not discrediting the fit. Might just work fine for you. But shield tank ships - cap is life. Armor still have passive resistances going on. Turn off multispectral on a shield ship off and it suffers greatly with tanking capabilities.
@@versacetudo9243 right the only thing you are saying here on this channel since i came back to eve only negative comments...so tell me how would you have fit that golem for a solo roam
Overtanking like crazy too - you just left the first ancil running wasting charges. And you weren't overheating the ancils and the launchers nearly as much as you should have done.
@@mshakhnazarov it was too much pressure...specially when bhaalgorn turned up and all the rest...i must admit it wasn t my best piloting...but you still didn t answer my question...how else would you have fit a Golem for a solo roam...i am curious of your version of solo Golem
Neut ships are the bane of eve pvp...the module should turn off if no cap is being drained or it empties the other ship of cap. At least there is a chance
There's definitely a better course to do this rather than going KB negative using a Marauder. For instance this same gatecame can be done in by like. 4 confessors.
No, you want to use the smallest cap boosters on an ASB as possible. It doesn't change the rep amount, but there is a m3 capacity of the ASB. So the smaller the cap boosters, the more will fit in the ASB. You get one cycle of shield boost for every cap booster, regardless of size.

Dont let them tell you that. We all start somewhere. There are alot of decent ships out there, survivable enough, sub 1b isk. Get your feet wet like that and always review your recorded footage afterwards. One pearl of advise is to spend some time on analyzing resist layouts for ships - not all, but certainly those you run into often. Picking a higher dmg ammo option equals faster kills therefore reducing pressure on you. I liked this vid, and would love to see more.
