So glad you decided to check out woodz. woodz was playing both characters in the love me harder music video - the mullet version was almost like his alter ego watching himself. He was essentially robbing a bank with his girlfriend, his girlfriend shot him and framed him before taking the money - making it seem like he took his own life. It's a really interesting music video and there's a lot more to the duality concept (earth and cosmic) if you choose to dig deeper, I hope you check out more from him like 'different', 'waiting', 'pool' etc. his discography is fire and he's very versatile as an artist.
I love Woodz, all of his music is top tier and he's a great songwriter/producer. I was introduced to him through SVTs vernon who's good friends with him- they're in a music crew called M.O.L.A where they produce music together.
Cho Seungyoun is an amazing producer, he writes his own lyrics and makes his own music. He debuted three times, in groups named UNIQ and X1 and Now he is solo, you should listen to his albums, his voice is very heavenly and he's Moodz all Rounder💙🧡 he can literally do everything!
his discography is amazing and he writes and produces all of them. you should watch his 'accident live clip', i got goosebumps from his voice. and yes, the 2 guys from love me harder were him.
a little background: woodz, seungwoo and byungchan from victon were in produce x101. byungchan left because his health and seungwoo and woodz made it into x1. if im not mistaken, x1 disbanded cause mnet manipulate the results of the program. so woodz debuted solo and seungwoo were back in victon. and another thing is that woodz and yoojung from onlyoneof are high school friends. he even did a demo version of 'a song of ice and fire' for ooo.
he is an amazing singer producer.

he's have project group with seventeen's vernon, jamie, pentagon's kino, nathan & hoho (producer and guitarist) named M.O.L.A

he's also active as producer, he is the main producer for all of his album, also produce some songs not just for himself but for other artists.
Can't thank you enough for checking out WOODZ. There are many reasons he is my favorite soloist. The variety of music he puts out, the no-skip tracks on his albums, and the fact that he is friends with almost all of K-pop. If you ever want to there is an episode of Baverse where you get to see more of his personality and worries/concerns and he also did an episode of Unboxing (hosted by JinJin of Astro and Kino of Pentagon). I think everyone loves his song Different, so please check that out along with the Live performance of Accident.

Yes, he actually is really close to Seungwoo and you can check out (in your own time) his Baverse video where he talks about himself and there's an interaction between the two of them too, that video is emotional tho, I cred a little ngl.

sooo glad you checked him out, all of his music are seriously amazing i really recommend listening to his b-sides! if you also want to see some of his early music color you should definitely check out Different, Pool and Meaningless (highly recommend to turn on captions for this one!), these were his single releases in 2018 and are somewhat known among the k-rnb community.

He was in X1 which was forced to disband after revelations of voting rigging by the show/mnet (you get why we dislike them so much lol he’s a rapper, singer, composer, producer, dancer just multitalented. Also check out waiting, chaser, different, bump bump, pool, trigger, meaningless, accident, and recipe where the rap flow is 🤯 so glad you found his music. He also did a series documentary into the baverse where he faces friends and people he’s known about his journey and seungwoo and he get emotional, as do others saying he was always the strong one hiding his pains. Uwu
With love me harder he’s facing death only his own looks like him (mullet) while he pieces together the last memories and gets that he died as the girl betrayed him shot him in the head and stole the counterfeit money he made. The other half of him is entertained by his confusion. Like memento he does and didn’t remember it so goes through a weird discovery journey before the images return to him. The five stages basically in the whole MV lol

also if you haven't checked out dean yet, PLEASE do. he is an icon and has a beautiful discography as well. his live video with pikicast for the songs i'm not sorry + bonnie and clyde is STILL one of my faves 5+ years later, but yeah you really can't go wrong with any of his songs.

I will try to explain a little bit about Love Me Harder. Both of the characters are him, one version is trying to run away with his lover with all the money they stole but eventually gets killed by his lover who took the money and made it seems like he was the one who killed himself. The other version is still him, it's just that this version is laughing at himself, for how dumb was he, for doing the same mistakes all over again. You can call it his afterlife version. I hope it helped :)
Woodz has such a diverse and amazing collection. He’s always mixing the unexpected with different music influences and he just never misses. I’m so glad you watched these and liked them cause he is actually also the softest orange ever. He is also a great dancer, rapper, composer, producer and vocalist. Like there isn’t much he can’t achieve.
X1 was robbed of their chance because of exposed rigged voting on the show by mnet. The band was forced to disband and after already going through a survival show that was too cruel playing with these guys dreams and lives. The potential in this group was like wanna one, loaded with talent I highly recommend checking out their mv Flash. That group had victon member seungwoo, soloist kim wooseok, Wei’s Yohan, cravity’s Minhee and Hyeongjun, mirae’s Dongpyo, BAE173’s Lee Hangyul and dohyon, Younite’s Eunsang and Drippin’s Cha Junho. So they all be TALENTED! Mnet you suck so hard.
Uniq are having a reunion type thing we heard but don’t know if he will join them and if you wanna get whiplash with that group their most famous is EOEO mv but I also love the Celebrate mv they did for the penguins movie lol
Woodz lives with his mum, was very close to his dad who sadly passed and has tattoos that they planned to get together in his memory. He’s very close friends with lots of idols from IM in Monsta X, Kino from Pentagon, Jinjin from Astro and Seungwoo from victon among many. There is a fab series that he and other artists took part in where they share about themselves and their music with other idol friends 1-2-1 talking about him and his music and it can get quite emotional. That was the Welcome To my Baverse series on yt, IM, woodz and Sumin participated and there are live stages too. They also have a playlist for artists who create playlists of their favs and either for an hour while they are in the gym or driving they just play and it’s like you are just working away with them there it’s so chill. Solo content I love his diversity and his rapping is crazy on Recipe is def worth a listen and on this he was using the name Luizy. Some amazing music that I love is Waiting, I Hate You, Pool, accident (live clip), Kiss of Fire (live clip), Drowning (live clip), ready to fight (live clip). These are incredible mixes of styles and genres that I think you would be amazed it if you want to hear more. Whole discography is a joy honest.

Fun fact Woodz trained under YGE (iKON/TREASURE) to initially debut under the company with UNIQ. It was a collaboration between YGE/Yueha a Chinese Company but in the end decided to debut solely under Yueha.
This is the reason why Woodz is very close with a lot of artists, dancers, and workers at YGE. It’s really dope to see that he keeps those relationships!
