I watched the Brickumantry movie and saw you, and I've always wanted to do a space movie kinda like how you're doing your movie. I'll think about donating...
This announcement video is so meta! I love it!!! I've backed and am considering increasing my pledge closer to the deadline based on where you are and how much money I have to throw at you.
That is often true... On this project for the first time I cast professional actors who work in LA to do the voices, and I found that working with a real actor is a night to day difference from working with someone who *can* voice act but isn't actually an actor.
+FranticAnt!cs It's not coming out anytime soon, let's just leave it at that. It might be about 30 minutes long. The hook is from an old Alpha Team set. The bad guy was named Ogel and looks suspiciously similar to Duman.
Wish this had been made it sounded amazing looked it up after watching the beyond the brick: A LEGO Brickumentary on tv in Australia in 2018 but after seeing the follow up video you did to answer why it didn't happen Just wanted you to know that your work and idea/passion to make an epic movie was still appreciated best of luck in all your future endeavors
I'll definitely be using it for other Brickfilms in the future, so supporting this project is really supporting every Brickfilm I ever make from now on. I doubt I'll need to buy any LEGO bricks again for a long time.
Thanks for the offer! I've already got the voices recorded, the best way to help is to share the Kickstarter project with anyone you know who might be interested!
You goooooo I CANNOT WAIT UNTILL ITS FINISHED!!! I just saw the documentary u were in and I looooooove this movie already !!!!!!!!!!! I'm saving up to donate $100
1) Yes. You can still pledge on the Kickstarter right now to get a copy of the DVD but I will be selling them later as well. 2) Yes, it will come with a making-of documentary and some other bonus features I haven't figured out yet. 3) That's the plan.
FRICK YEAH!!! YOU GO MAN! You have GREAT voices, GREAT concepts, GREAT animation. Besides just getting the bricks you need to build things, maybe you should try contacting some other "pro" builders. Do go it alone man. But I WILL be backing this project, even if its only the small bit that I am able. I will be glad to have been a part of this. SHARE THIS AROUND THE WORLD! EVERYONE!!! Also, great video for the Kickstarter for the film, entertaining in of itself.
Never, he never wanted to do it, he wanted to work on his book more than Melting Point, he should’ve got another LEGO RUclipsr to make it instead of throwing it away, heck I would’ve made it
Jonathan, last night I was invited to see Dan Junge's LEGO documentary at the TriBeCa Film Festival. Your story is amazing and I hope you get the funding you need to complete Melting Point. The film was really well-received. Lego rocks!
Good catch. Yeah, I had a draft of this written all the way back in May 2012, and Meltdown was one of the title ideas I was thinking about, so I put it in Zombie: Exodus.
We saw you on the brickumentery. You should have made this movie because your so good at filming you wouldn't have failed. It brakes our little plastic lego hearts that it was not made
You're right, although I think many of the actors who I worked with, even if they aren't famous Brickfilmers, have a large circle of contacts within their work who they could share this with. I do hope some other well-known Brickfilmers see this and share it too, though.
Are you planning on buying the same building multiple times, because you can just take a picture of it in one position move it,then layer the images on top of each other.
The last post in the kickstarter feed was in november: its title is "bad news". last comment on this vid is two months ago. Ah, man, I've stumbled into the ghost town part of youtube again.
My parents could never give me this much money for a film project, nor would I expect them to. The thing is, I'm not asking strangers for donations... I'm giving people who enjoy my films the opportunity to get cool rewards related to the film by pledging money on Kickstarter, so it will benefit everyone else just as much as it benefits me. That's my goal at least!
I saw your kickstarter page and saw something that says "bad news" I was wondering what happened and I am kinda worried about what happened to it and I really wanna see this project. It'll be such a bummer to hear that it's not gonna happen.
Please respond... Did/Do you need to get any special permission from Lego to allow you to give away posters with Lego figures on them or a DVD/BlueRay of a Lego movie? If so; what did you have to do? If not; why?
Hope you are doing well bro, I remember seeing this a long time ago and being hyped, sad to see it never happened, but totally understand
I saw you on the Brickumentary!

Alright.
1. When is it coming out?

3. How long will it supposedly be?
4. And finally. Where did you get that hook?!

+Jonathan Vaughan do you plan on selling the movie? or just post it on your RUclips channel?
+Jonathan Vaughan plus, how much did it cost to get ogel?
CAN YOU PUT EMMET AS A CAMEO APPEARANCE?

They reached the goal in June last year. Good luck Jonathan! Hope it's a good result.

Yes, absolutely! Some of the rewards only ship within the US, but if you'd be willing to pay for the extra shipping I could certainly get them to you.
Next year sometime. I'm animating it all summer and doing post-production this fall.
@@NinjaTron he got injured and didn't film for ages then when he came back he didn't feel like filming and instead got into writing

Thank you so much for your support! Really means a lot.
I pledged, you are such an inspiration to me, my all time favourite Brickfilm has to be Picturesque, and I really cannot wait for this to come out

I watched the brickumentary and your set looks awesome. When are you releasing Melting Point?

when will Melting Point be ready for the RUclips to see

When will melting point make its debut?Whenever it does, I'm going to watch it a million times.Plus, I also saw you on the brickumentery!

Are you planning on buying the same building multiple times, because you can just take a picture of it in one position move it,then layer the images on top of each other.
Wow, thank you so much! I really appreciate your support and suggestions.
Gray Latitude was cancelled due to unforeseen difficulties. I may release what I have finished of it, though.
No problem, I understand. If you could, I'd really appreciate it if you'd share it with anyone you know who might be interested!
Awesome I really want this movie to happen it looks so cool ! I am ready !
Making this movie is taking for ever my god
Yes, I'm planning to include a roughly 30-minute making-of documentary showing the animation and post-production process!
I saw u on Lego brickumentary. when is the movie coming out. Can u please put in on your page or a video.
I learned about this through the lego documentary movie, when is it coming out because I want to see it
It turned out to be a brick disaster instead of being the best LEGO film
Seems like its gonna be pretty big!
Well the script is 37 pages, but it should be around 30 minutes when finished.
I'm not getting a job just to see a thirty minute brickfilm. But I think the movie will turn out well.
this movie is going to be amazing
Guys.....this film was announced to be cancelled (。•́︿•̀。)
You should use micro buildings for some of the shots so won't have to use tons of huge buildings.
Can't wait to see it for myself!
this was in the brickumenetary
I read lots about you in the "Brick Flicks" book!
This is awesome im very excited to see this film!!!!
Can someone who backed the project on Kickstarter please tell me about what happened to the movie? The last update I see is "Bad News"...
