Hi guys, and welcome back! I thought we would take a quick peek in the Goodwill here in O P KS. Since I was in the area picking up some purses from FB marketplace.
I'm always on the lookout for purses, bags, and accessories for my live shows over on the Poshmark app. I also enjoy browsing the shelves for vintage Pyrex and home decor items for my personal collection and home. I absolutely love the hunt, and I hope you enjoy the video.

Also Lonnie I’ve notice when shopping in Blue Springs, MO a half hour from where you are, that , the Red racks store right next to Goodwill has twice as many people in it then Goodwill. I never find anything good in this Goodwill on Hwy 7. So I don’t go there anymore just Red Racks. Which I think now people in the area are donating more to Red racks stores than Goodwill because Red Racks Stores support military services and Goodwill has had so much bad press. Do they have Red Racks in Overland Park? I don’t think they do. I only seen you go to other thrift stores.
I have a love/hate relationship with Goodwill. I just keep thinking if I go often enough, I'll find something. But, I'm about to give up. Ugh..We don't have a Red Racks in OP. Is there one in Waldo? I think there is one in Waldo..I'm not sure. Anymore, thrifting is so frustrating. I miss the way it used to be. Garage sale season is right around the corner. Woohoo! Your Goodwill was notable for two things:
very little merchandise of note on the shelves, and horrendously high prices for anything halfway interesting.
Overall, not very enjoyable, though you gave it your best shot.
I couldn't get over the prices on those large planters: ridiculous!
I wish you better luck in the future, but it just looks like it will continue to be a losing proposition.
So disappointing and downright depressing.

Agreed, Cheryl! The GW stores here are a real struggle 😫. Prices are ridiculous for most things. Those planter prices, yikes! Out here doing the best I can, for sure! Thank you so much for watching ☺️
