I was at my local goodwill & an elderly lady sold me her china she got for a wedding gift in the 1950s. She had 4 boxes of the china with the butter dish & gravy boat. She was adamant about that butter dish & only wanted ten bucks! Ten bucks for 4 boxes of beautiful china from Japan with a simple but elegant picture of a flower & silver accents. Anywho, I gave her $20. Later on, I found the salt & pepper shaker & some of the serving dishes & quickly scooped them up. I've got just short of a dozen place settings & a few extra serving dishes for no more than 30 bucks. I couldn't get anywhere near the quality or quantity for that price & I rescued 4 boxes of stuff from the landfill.
@annsmith4739 ya I was looking at something in the store & she asked me if I needed dishes, which I really didn't, but then she said there were 4 boxes, including that butterdish, & she only wanted 10 bucks! I chuckle every time because I'm a single dude who eats off of china. I'm now in the market for actual silverware to complete my set & turn that chuckle into a laugh.
I sure the generous lady was thrilled to know her dishes were going to someone who wanted, needed, and would appreciate them. Enjoy them and good luck with your silver ware hunt. 🤗🌼💙🐦
The Randy stuff was hilarious! Weirdos unite! I have two sets of Barbie and Kens. I bring them camping with me and take pictures of them getting into all sorts of mischief and send them to my friends. Their names are Darla and Dick and Kitty and Buck. There is a lot of drama! LOLOL!

Last year I bought three dolls, I sort of recognised them then on looking them up a few weeks later they are worth over 1200 dollars each, I paid 25 for the 3 ! The other day I bought a set of vintage english pottery flower display vases for 5 dollars, selling for over 200 each.

Good day Tanya So gorgeous pieces there ... I liked the clear crystal and the blue vases...the blue and white plates and of corse the silver rimmed dinnerware ...Thanks for the long video ...
When I saw you had a new video out, I waited until the evening to watch it. I knew it would be beautiful and relaxing with some humor thrown in. I’m so glad you’re back.
I’ve always loved the way your videos float. It’s relaxing to watch and get a great feel for everything. The smaller sets of plates and bowls great for desert , my mom used her crystal plater for individual antipasto salads. Those prices are great, you can bring a dish to a party and let the hostess keep it. I’m so glad your back
What is more amazing than the beauty of the vanity is the amazing talent and patience of the people who made those items. Long gone, lost generations of craftsmen. The condition of the vanity, especially the mirror, shows how someone cared for it like it deserved, a thing of pure beauty. It didn’t look like the silver had come off of the back of the mirror. Amazing. Thank you.
I love the way you express your self about thrifting ❤ I love to stroll along the isles seeing all the different items and appreciating them ..like you say some of us thrift for many reasons but I also agree that thrifting is a way to keep history from ending on our land fields ❤
Wow I am blown away by the Billy The Kid photo. I knew who it was as soon as you showed the photo. What a find of a lifetime. I read an article in the Guardian about it as I was telling my husband about it and did a Google search to show him the picture. Hope you find a buyer with super deep pockets!!!!😊
Tonya, what a Fun video, thank you for your hard work❤️❤️. I hope you went back to purchase that delicious dressing table and mirror for $196.00, with that storage, to top it off lined in blue velvet. Let’s not forget the Art Deco, light wood armoire, yummy with whipped cream in the top! The prices in your favorite thrift store were unbelievable, like what we use to see years ago. Rest up and cheers to You 🎉🍦🥂🎉
This was the best video I’ve ever seen!! Not even exaggerating ❤ already love how you do your videos and Randy’s story really added some more suspense and intrigue 😊 So fun
Every time I go to Goodwill, I come out with so many things. I always have about two carts loaded. I have found my fine china, jadeite, and 😮milk glass collection in there. All my lamps, my chandeliers, silver trays, wall decore, and furniture. I am very happy with them. I have so many antiques. It makes me happy to visit Goodwill. Love them.
Hi, Tonya ! Love the bloopers , Randy is a today man with pink car and all. I fell for the China, Lenox is one of my favorite. I would need a palace the size of Kensington if I bought everything I saw today. Thank you for taking us with you on this wonderful trip.
I forgot to ask Randy if he was driving his wife's car that day, or if he's just cool like that 😂 I just filmed a GIGANTIC Lenox vase for another video. They wee practically giving it away!!!! Thank you so much for coming along with me, Bill!!
Hi Tonya 🤗 had so much fun with Randy's adventure! I just love the new thrift store ❤ that vanity made me drool in the first video and that was just a glimpse.!!! Hello, Ms.Tanya I'm very glad that you're back thrifting and I'm just in awe of items that you're showing and thank you for commenting on the items' prices if it's a good buy or not.Good job!❤🎉😊👍
You always find the most amazing thrift shops, and Goodwill stores. Those Goodwill prices were more expensive then the ones in your older videos I miss the $1 dollar price tags on furniture.
Oh my gosh, me too! I'm so sad both GW Furniture stores closed! I haven't figured out where all that furniture goes now, but I am on a mission to find out!
hubby gave me the best idea a few years back when I was lamenting all the beautiful dishes out there...he said if you love a set buy it, bring home & put in cupboards to be used EVERYDAY & donate or sell the set thats in cupboard already. well duh that works real well! wish he'd suggested many years ago lol! course you do have to be disciplined & move out the set you're using. I now only hang onto any pieces that were my moms or grandma's, otherwise I enjoy for a time & then swap it out.
My local Goodwill charges WAAAYYY TOO MUCH for their products. Almost the same price as if it were new, and it’s everything in the store. Ridiculous. Love the Randy adventure
Hi, love the picture of the lady with the flowers around her head towards the beginning of the video. Wish I could find one in Michigan. Great video!👍💜
This is Grandma from Texas. I so look forward to your videos. You are simply the BEST at making videos. Also I think I heard you say you had an 18 year old son! WHAAAT!!! You don’t look much over 18 yourself. I thought you were 20 something. In any case thank you for bringing so much joy and sunshine with your lovely self. 😉
Lenox is my all time favorite. I always wanted a China set. I collected Lenox figurerens , Carousel horses, statue of a lady ,many more. I'm old now so I don't need any more stuff. In the 80s my husband repaired TVs for Goodwill . He would always bring home neat stuff. One time he brought me a woman's Rolex watch. He said he found in in a box of junk. That was in California, so I think it was probably picked over more than your store. Thank you for a great tour. Keep up the good work❤
I have been told by antique dealers & vendors that no one want's china or crystal anymore. It's going to start stacking up to the ceiling in thrift stores. Can you imagine??? I'm so happy that you're my thrifting buddy Jane 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️
I went to Upscale Thrift today! I got a beautiful crystal bowl that I've had my eye on for quite awhile. On etsy it's listed for $90 (plus $37 shipping 😦) but I got it at Upscale Thrift for $16 ! It's gorgeous and I'm super happy with it 🤩 Not too far from that location in Carmichael is one of my favorite antique stores, Magnolia. Have you been there, Tonya? Also - that Lenox Solitaire collection is on sale for $89! I almost grabbed it but I have so much china. Someone in Sac should go and grab it! It's gorgeous.
YAY Greta! So happy to hear you got your crystal bowl!!! Hopefully we will bump into each other at Upscale sometime. Please say hi if you see me. I will be sure to check out Magnolia. I don't think I've been there before, but I will now! Thank you so much for the tip!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Tanya you are the luckiest lady I know your auntie has gifted you so many beautiful things and OMG that jade necklace that she gave you my heart skipped a beat she illustrates kindness and so beautifully can you give her a big hug from me
Your video is Wonderfilled, every time I hear that instrumental that comes and goes makes me think of A Patch of Blue, simply Lovely, great content and video!❤❤👍
I really enjoyed your video and there were so many treasures to see. I'm a sucker for crystal and anything Uranium glass but that furniture was so pretty. When you were in the parking lot pushing his car I kept thinking is she going to show that box on top of his car. 😂 great video
Cynthia, this comment made me immediately think of this Uranium glass stunner I just filmed for a future video. I drooled 😂 And I totally missed the opportunity to show the box on the car. EPIC fail on my part!!! 😂 🥰🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️
Well what a wonderful surprise you just popped up on my U Tube today omg I need a castle also love Everything especially that vanity and long sofa and chairs and lol just everything the dishes the lamps I will watch this again what eye candy..I live in Northern Ontario Canada…absolutely nothing like this here…small population.thank you for giving me a moment 💕
I think that massive tray might have gone under a large punch bowl, with the cups set around on the tray. My mother had something that looked (in my brain) just like that. She brought it out every special occasion.
Julie, from Thrilled Thrifter was telling those watching her channel, I am so thankful she did,, this was an incredible video. I have loved looking at all of the treasures, the vanity was absolutely gorgeous and the Crystal was also, you definitely have a new fan...
This video was great and very well done. It frustrates me to see so many beautiful things at great prices. I have been looking for blue willow dishes up here in Oregon where I live, but no shop ever has them. To order them on line is very expensive. The Pfalsgraf dishes in the heritage pattern is my pattern, and I would have scooped them up directly ! Thanks for this video. Marcie from Oregon
Hello neighbor! I feel the same way when I watch thrifting videos in other states. They always show shelves full of things for cheap that would be hard to come by and expensive here in California 😂
We used to have a great antique and furniture store in Toronto, its been gone for a few years. I actually haven't seen any Goodwill stores in Ontario in years, I really miss them.🙏🌷
I too picked up my china from Goodwill. They wanted 75$ for a 24 (5 piece) place setting. It came with 3 serving platters, 3 serving bowls,3 creamers and 2 sugar containers. I tried toget them to break up the set and sell 12 settings for 35$, but they countered with buy it all for 45$ with a 10% discount!! Yes I did. So I use the china with it's sliver trim daily!! I smile while I hand wash these. If something breaks I will just pull out a spare. I only kept a couple of plates for microwave purposes. They are beautiful on my shelves
Loved the Randy show! I recognized Billy the Kid right away, don't know what that says about me 🤓 I'm heading to Upscale Thrift this afternoon! It looks awesome. They should give you a big thank you for advertising for them.
My wealthy sister 🤭 and her husband own the real blue and white china set and I couldn’t guess how many pieces that own and are always adding to the collection. It’s crazy. They use them holidays dinner party etc.
Loved your video! First time I've seen your stuff and I'm really liking it. Plus I love what you selected. There's a french vintage silver plated Art Deco pitcher with rattan handle (11:48) that I think is worth going back for. Hope you can still get your hands on it.
WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!!! Thank you so much! I have lots more planned and I'm trying to figure out how to restructure my channel right now. Hopefully it will be lots of fun. I look forward to hearing your opinion here in the comments. It's really helpful to me, so thank you so much for taking the time to let me know what. you enjoy... and what you don't 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️
The huge glass tray is a punch bowl liner called Slewed Horseshoe it’s about 75 years old and the punch bowl that goes with it is gorgeous. You can flip it for a nice price.
Hi. New subscriber. I’m a longgggg time thrift store junkie. Glassware, China, and sterling silver are my favorites. My biggest score ever was finding a couple of Gorham sterling candelabras that were pitch black. Got charged $7.00 for the pair. When I got home, I looked them up and they were worth $1100.00. I still have them. Your commentary with Randy was hysterical! We could not shop together. We would be having a tug of war with items! Lol. Great video!
Friends, not food 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I'm unbelievably jealous about the candelabras!!!! , congratulations!!! Welcome to the family!!! So happy we can shop together virtually, at least 😂🥰🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️

I went to Upscale Thrift today! I got a beautiful crystal bowl that I've had my eye on for quite awhile. On etsy it's listed for $90 (plus $37 shipping 😦) but I got it at Upscale Thrift for $16 ! It's gorgeous and I'm super happy with it 🤩
Not too far from that location in Carmichael is one of my favorite antique stores, Magnolia.
Always interesting. Soo glad you're back.

Wow the best goodwill store I ever seen
Yay!!! Thank you for thrifting with me!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR CHANNEL AND YOUR STYLE. YOU ARE AWESOME GIRL
Just found your video. Love your voice, your humor and Randy! I will subscribe!!!!!!!
Yay!!! Welcome to the family Joann!!! Much love 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️
That first marble topped table would be worth a LOT here in france.
Enough to pay for my trip to France? 😂😂😂 Much love from the US 🥰❤️
Iike your unusual way to present Goodwill items. Very entertaining
You visit the greatest stores I have ever seen. Amazing prices.
Awesome finds 😊
sooooo entertaining !!!
Yay!!!! Thank you!!
Great video! Thank you.
Glad you liked it! Thank you Phillis!
WELL....! That was Fun!!!
Wow great fine with the fotos with Billy the kid that's awesome 😊❤
I recognized Billy the Kid right away, don't know what that says about me 🤓
I'm heading to Upscale Thrift this afternoon! It looks awesome. They should give you a big thank you for advertising for them.
Say hi for me! You're gonna love it there! I laughed so hard when I read your BTK comment 😂
Love Noritake china.
I'm with you. It's gorgeous daaaaaaaarliiiiiiiiiiing
My favorite wheat pattern. That was Noritake, i needed a few of those pcs..Looked well taken care of.
She really does get some great stuff!
The furniture beautiful.!!!
I'm still daydreaming about that vanity!! 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️
You have a great voice. Very comfortable to listen to.
My wealthy sister 🤭 and her husband own the real blue and white china set and I couldn’t guess how many pieces that own and are always adding to the collection. It’s crazy. They use them holidays dinner party etc.
Oh, how fun!! They could collect it forever. I wouldn't even have a place to staore a collection that size 😂
Loved your video! First time I've seen your stuff and I'm really liking it. Plus I love what you selected. There's a french vintage silver plated Art Deco pitcher with rattan handle (11:48) that I think is worth going back for. Hope you can still get your hands on it.
Awesome! Thank you! I will run back there ASAP!!! And WELCOME!!!!! So glad you're here!!
Bellísimo, gracias.
I’ve subscribed, really, like super REALLY enjoyed your video!!! I am looking forward to many more
WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!!!
Good to know when bar codes started
Oh my, I think I have a crush on Randy!
Me too!!!! I might have to hire him on full time 😂
The huge glass tray is a punch bowl liner called Slewed Horseshoe it’s about 75 years old and the punch bowl that goes with it is gorgeous. You can flip it for a nice price.
Wild flowers of the south,I think I saw those plates in the Victoria magazine maybe 1990's
Wow, great memory! Thank you so much John!!
Love you're video absolutely amazing 👏 ❤️ 💖.
Greetings from California!
I feel you on the furniture. I live in a 1 bdrm apt😫 that lamp with the pink roses❤❤❤
You killed it with Randy 😂🤣😂🤣
😂😂😂😂😂 I'm so glad you get my sense of humor 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️
Omg! The vanity!
Right?!!! I'm still swooning!!
