So again why would anyone want an electric car in Blackout Zimbabwe ? .So how many charging points are available city wide ? . So , it would be foolish to own an electric in Zimbabwe , not at least until electricity is available 24/7 and tarred roads are reintroduced by the Mbavament .

The Leaf is incredibly quiet as you’re showing us around. Even as you pick up speed, it doesn’t make much noise.
It appears to be serviceable as well with quite a bit of boot space. And no changing “of dirty things” ;-)

They used to be a big difference in price but the prices of electric cars are coming down. The main advantage is in the running costs. Electric cars are much cheaper to maintain

Are there charging stations in zimbabwe or u connect it kuden kwako?
I charge at home. But there are charging stations being installed in Zim now. We will share more on this in the next few weeks. Stay tuned
Can you charge your car battery directly from the panels and inverter with out batteries?
Yes you can if your system is grid tied and the grid
you cant say its Zim
Are there any Chademo chargers in Zim yet. Let me know when there is a larger group of leafs In Zim and I can come up and convert all of the dashes to English for you guys. 2011 8bar leaf in SA. Tyron
Not yet but there are people looking into it. Any idea about anyone upgrading/replacing old Leaf battery packs? I see some groups doing it in Europe

NO to electric cars, we love our fuel engined cars. Some of us are sportscar/supercar lovers we want to leave the exhaust notes from these big engines..
