Ross Brawn's comments (although a little dry) are a preview into how analytics will improve both the sport and the viewing experience. He is a true visionary.

I am a big fan of AWS but I am getting sick of Andy year after year doing the same bag the competition keynote speech. The analysts revenue numbers are pure guesswork, as other vendors don't break down IaaS vs PaaS and SaaS numbers. He always manages to find the analyst with the IaaS estimate numbers that makes AWS look the best, and goes on to bag other companies that don't even do IaaS. No SalesForce or Oracle in Andy's world. I have seen other analyst estimates that paint a very different story. He also bags other companies for doing what AWS has always done, which is launch new services with minimal features and add features over time. I think it is time to move on from this theme. Most customers live in a multi cloud world, and deal with multiple cloud providers. Customers are increasingly looking at ease of use, value for money and innovative services that solve business problems. AWS is great at all this stuff, you donlt need to spend half a keynote at your major annual conference bagging other vendors.
