Having been denied a title shot, Alex Hammerstone’s only hope for a dream title vs title match is winning the Riot. Will it be Hammertime or will CONTRA Unit’s threats to terrorize the Riot mean the end of the road for Your Boy Hammer?
The rules are simple: this is a no disqualification bout, meaning weapons ARE permitted. A new man enters every 60 seconds. Elimination is by pinfall, submission or throwing a wrestler over the top rope… and the winner gets a title shot anytime, anywhere! The challenger has the key to unlock an instant title shot against whoever the champion is.
The best fighters are traveling from around the world fans for the Battle Riot and a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, including:

While other promotions are extremely over rated
They do so much with so little... and I dont mean talent. I mean as far as budget, production, and time given. They pack sooooo much into EVERY show. Heck even the draft was cool lol

I really wish he had stayed in Wrestling after LU closed he's a really good talker would be a good manager

He’s been in the WWE performance centre for a long long time and as soon as he was released earlier this year MLW snapped him up. They really spot talent better than a lot of other companies.
He was with Booker T's company Reality of Wrestling aka ROW back couple years back.

I love MLW because despite usually running in the north, it feels like a southern promotion where the product is more sport orientated.
I knew I would bet on Alex Hammerstone to win the Battle Riot this year.
MLW is where its at. Hammerstone is 1 of the best in the business, and he didnt need to follow his stable-mate MJF to AEW to be it.
Welcome back MLW. Always good to see one of the best promotions in pro wrestling worldwide. Excited to watch where the Azteca Underground storyline goes.

Yep, I noticed the colour scheme and thought "nah, just me" but then he did the hulk up for his comeback. Post matxh poses were simply the icing on the cake
I'm also getting Alex from Street Fighter 3rd Strike, but that character was based on Hogan as well.
My first time ever watching MLW. Gotta admit that was pretty cool. Productions pretty good. Some pretty cool talent. Grew up watching the Von Erichs wrestling in Texas so always cool to see a Von Erich in a promotion. And a nice pop for the BWO Blue Meanie. Kind of thought for that city there would of been more ECW originals, hopefully next time. Overall though pretty cool. Think I'll tune in again! Nice job.

MLW is the best, every wrestler who entered the BR had the aura of a legitimate athlete. This was fantastic. I love the way Court builds his roster. So much talent, so many interesting matchups. I wish the rest of the IWC gave MLW its due.

Let's face it, the last 18 months have REALLY sucked. But in that time, everyone involved in professional wrestling has worked damn hard & lifted their game to new heights, time & time again - just when we needed it the most. MLW BR3 is a shining example of this! It's truly a great time to be a wrestling fan! :D
MLW may just be one of the "best kept secrets" in the world of professional rasslin'! Hoping there will be more crossover stuff with Impact, RoH, NJPW, NWA, AEW etc. (Tony Khan, please, pretty please, make this happen ASAP!)

I would say yes. If nothing else the Battle Riot should be a good introduction to the wrestlers and their characters.

@@menace4082 Oh absolutely that’s the overall starting point for sure, I just wondered if there was a specific event or match people might point to as the display of what MLW is to someone who’s just seen bits and pieces here and there, but has piqued curiosity. Are One Shot, Never Say Never 2017, and Zero Hour also available? Those seem like the earliest shows chronologically looking at CAGEMATCH. Thanks for the replies, everybody! They seem like they’re working with AAA and New Japan a bit as well, so I wonder if it’s only a matter of time before they walk through The Forbidden Door as well?

WOW! This is like WWE's Royal Rumble but with 40 instead of 30. Major cluster for all involved because its not just over the top rope as the way to win but pinfall as well. A constant ON situation because you can't assume who is gonna win, you have to always watch your back! DAYUM!!! LOL

@@dannysormaz8082 Agreed. While Fatu, and Contra's reign with the world title was cool to see at first but it's got boring and stale so I think what should happen is Alexander Hammerstone wins Battle Riot and then he finally ends Fatu's reign as MLW World Champion.
And in 91 there was a Von Erich in that one too!!
Fatu and Von Erichs are from great family wrestling dynasties! They are both good
