Thanks! It's the time of the day when I do my videos. Most of the time it's in the morning, because of me working and my time constraints. But I will do my best. Thanks again!
I really and truly from the bottom of my heart appreciate the walk down Freetown road! That puma gas station was once called esso gas station. Two of our neighbors from Pitts alley were ruined over and killed at that esso station. I immediately recognized technical college. I remembered crossroads and continental hotel. When you passed plaza I remembered standing in front of the Chinese restaurant where me ' my brother Junior and our great grandmother waited to be picked up to go to shelter when hurricane feefee was headed to Belize in 1974. Corner of Douglas Jones and Freetown roads.
I would like to see st joseph school as well and the church.i went to the church a few times when we lived back there in kings park.i almost went to st joseoh but i ended up at at ignatius.and i am glad i did.
I really want to $upport your channel I so appreciate you from the bottom of my heart. Please don't forget York street and castle Street and Victoria street when you get the time. Much love and appreciation.
You related to those sutherlands in stann creek valley road.i got some cousins that are sutherlands.i got joan who is a school teacher.then there is john sutherland.robby and dorla sutherland died tragically some years ago.their dad was clive sutherland.he was married to my cousin vangie sutherland.but they live up there by hope creek on stann creek valley road.
My heart broke when I saw the remnants of what was Bethel Assembly of God Church and school. I remember the Berry family. I attended school with Chris Bert and Denise.. I hope you can take a walk on York street where I lived at #41 York street besides Bethel on the York street side. I remember cambranes and Martinez shop also there was a Chinese shop next to Bethel. Cambranes in the 70's was closer to Douglas Jones street. On those days.
I can imagine how difficult that must be, especially when so much has changed over time. Freetown Road holds so many memories for me as well and seeing it transformed over time feel like a loss in itself. It's always hard when places tied to our past are no longer as we remember them.
Hurts brother.its like a part of you is gone.something that tied you to the past and to those loved ones that now gone, and so yes it hurts.but in life, all is for a while and all we have are the memories and the love we have formed in the time here and even that is hard because it brings pain.
You related to those sutherlands that lived in stanncreek valley road by melinda forest station?robbie and dorla and all them are my cousins through their mom ,bangie sutherland.jone their other sister stayed with us for a while in belize when she went to teachers college.
Hi. U need to make the vids so that ppl who r not from Belize gain knowledge of your country. where is Free Town Rd.? Is it in a specific part of your country? In Jamaica, our island is divided into counties, then parishes, cities, towns and communities. If I'm doing a tour of a street in my community, I'd say, we r along Old Hope Road, in the Parish of St. Andrew, which is to the eastern side of Jamaica. Remember this is an international platform. u came up in my feed, so i watch, and if interesting, i subscribe, like and comment. Sell us your country brother.
