Eggman single handedly has the best single route in round one. Exeller after killing Tails and Knuckles decides to round out his breakfast with some eggs. However with the speed of a doctor running to his final boss mech Eggman escapes and sends scratch and grounder to die. (R.I.P beloved dumbots) Exeller proceeds to cause an elevator accident yet Eggman still survives. After the gauntlet of kitchen tiles he ends up at hidden palace where he Non shalonly acknowledges that Sonic's possessed and goes to the sky base Dialog is scarce going forward. The doctor isn't scared like the others, he built this base with his own two hands. After gunning down the demon he proceeds to plan about becoming a well renowned hero. For no other reason besides popularity fame and fortune He doesn't live too long after that statement but it's the sentiment that counts

Normally we would route for Sonic to beat Eggman and normally we play as Sonic to beat Eggman. Not here though. Here we would route for Eggman and here we play as Eggman to beat Sonic to survive. It's funny how we have a role reversal here.
The phrase of the villain survived but the 2 heroes are dead is ironic. (curious fact if tails is dead in the part of knuclkes at the beginning where the 1st life is we can go up infinitely and if we go up for a long time and start planning after a while we will go through a card at the end of the act and the game will reset until where tails is alive even if he had already died so it is a 2nd chance)

@@MessiElVerdaderoGOATFair enough. Those had brutal death scenes or their own but there was like this sort of fear factor that really got it working. One Last Round in my opinion does do well but also somehow tries too hard to be scary? I know it’s a terrifying game but there’s something about Spirits of Hell or Nightmare Beginning Remake that really captures it.
