    We're adults without kids, and loved the Wish. I think the bar themes are better than those on the Dream. Nightingales was our favourite.

  • @rauljcolon

    Also on the question for the Adults area. The good thing with the Wish. It makes it harder for kids to actually be in the Adults area vs. the Fantasy where if you are staying concierge and moving to certain areas you have to cross adult areas with kids.

    • @AdventuresinMillerland
      @AdventuresinMillerland  10 месяцев назад +1

      That’s a great point about the Fantasy! I think that’s one of the reasons I prefer the Wonder for adult area. You don’t get the traffic of kids through it either.

      @@AdventuresinMillerland yes... I was talking to a castmember on the Wish and they said it's easier on them to not have to tell parents that the kid can't be at Cove Cafe for example.

    Thank you for this review. It’s my mom’s 6th cruise and my first, and my daughter’s first. She will be 4 on our trip.
    I have 7 days to go and book the expensive Olaf’s Royal picnic. That’s all I want on this trip…my child loves Olaf and Frozen. I know that they don’t get enough time on the Arendelle dinner to meet with the children.
    We’re going on the Wish because it’s a short cruise and no one can cover my caregiving job 12 hour shifts. I’m going on my 3 day weekend. The 3 night is the best choice for us.
    I love your food suggestions. I love watching you both have fun riding your bikes in the rain. Best moment of your video!

    Awwwww, thank you guys for the shoutout! I appreciate it! I wondered how I got so many new followers yesterday 😂 Also, you guys are almost at 5K! Woo hoo! So well deserved. I definitely feel the Wish gets a bad rep, but we loved almost everything about it. Dining was the thing that bothered us the most because the tables were sooo close that even the servers had trouble getting to tables. I also prefer the nautical theme on the other ships. Other than that I enjoyed excitement of something new and enjoyed the new food! We are planning a back to back on the Wish 😊

      Our pleasure! I know! We just hit 4K right before the Wish 😳 Crazy. We didn’t feel the closeness of the tables to be too different that what we experienced on the Wonder last fall. They were close in some of the MDRs, I guess we just expected it. As far as the nautical theming, we have for sure heard that from others too. We like it, but we’re just as ok with what was on the Wish too 😊

    I’ve only been on 2 Disney cruises(the Dream & the Wish) and we did the 1 day pass Rain Forest room on both, but it is absolutely beautiful & worth it on the Wish! I, honestly, liked my Dream cruise better but (in hindsight) I think it’s because we went in September 2021 when it was still at 50% capacity, where as, our Wish cruise was 100% booked in 2023 so it was crowded! Lines for EVERYTHING were park level!😅😅. Now, I think I like the Wish better(overall).

    We just did a 24 night cruise on the Disney Wonder (We did a B2B of a 10 night and 14 night cruise). It was the repositioning from Canada to Australia and the inaugural aussie, south pacific, equator crossing cruise for Disney Cruise Line. It had amazing service, relaxation and was all round great time! It definitely has put our family onto cruising with Disney more often and has made our family totally agree with your about the Wonder being like the best DCL ship. Keep up the great content! My 6 year old son enjoyed Marvel for dinner and the pirate night. The Oceaneer club with the Marvel room and Star Wars room were very impressive. I don’t think he minded all the other princess theming in the ship. Definitely recommend a day at Disney before the cruise. We did animal kingdom lodge for a couple of nights and Animal Kingdom. It felt like two vacations in one!

    With a 3 night Wish, there is no pirate menu, so be mindful if you were to book Palo or Enchante! If you were to skip a place, I would say skip Arendelle. The show is great, but the food was the “worst” out of the 3 restaurants.

    What are your thoughts on Disney Magic for kids who are 7 and 12?

    • @AdventuresinMillerland
      @AdventuresinMillerland  8 месяцев назад

      Any Disney cruise is great for any age kids, but if you are wondering about the kids clubs, Oceaneers on the Magic is a lot of fun. Edge on the Magic is pretty small, and wasn’t our girl’s favorite version of edge. I believe Disney just changed their policy where 11 and 12-year-olds have to go to edge now and no longer have the option to go to Oceaneers. Everything else about the Magic is great, especially the crew, dining/food, servers… but if your 12 yr old really wants a better teen club option, the Fantasy, Dream or Wish have better teen club set ups, esp the fantasy or dream.

    It sounds like your ships only had princesses on them from your husbands comments. Do they not have the super six or any other characters like marvel or star wars, ( not that I consider any of those disney by any means)

    • @AdventuresinMillerland
      @AdventuresinMillerland  10 месяцев назад

      Good question - for clarity, my comments about if feeling very “princessy”were mostly about the theming in the grand hall, the staterooms and generally around the ship. The only characters we saw around the ship were princesses, and Mickey and friends. We did interact with Spider-Man in the Worlds of Marvel restaurant, which was fun. We never saw Marvel or Star Wars characters around the ship. I did see that they showed up once or twice a day in the oceaneers club for meet and greets with kids. But if you’re an adult or an older kid that wants to do that, not sure if those opportunities are there.
