Guys, don't you think FZ 25/FZS 25 is more VFM than MT 15?? It has a more powerful engine, better pillion comfort, and ride quality. Except for the instrument cluster and some features like golden forks, Bluetooth connectivity, etc, I think FZ 25 gets the job done. It's even more practical. FZ 25 is even cheaper than MT 15, and 1.6 lakh doesn't justify a 160cc bike. You all are open to share your thoughts on this...
I appreciate the effort they've taken to reposition the horn and the indicator in the bike. It's high time people have to realize that we are super annoying with the horn usage and nobody even bothers to use the indicators in the city. That tells the story of why this change has been made. Very good initiative. Let's stop honking for no reason pleaaaase. Use indicators and stop in the stop line and wait for the signal to turn green.

Being a R15 owner for 10 years(80000), then I bought Fz25 and rejected mt15 Reasons- Pickup no where near fz25. Small pillion seat. With pillon it justs gives up. It just seems small. Against wind blasts bike will not pull due to low torque. Fz25 suspension is so plush and absorbs bumps effortlessly. Positives- Engine-Smooth, efficient and unbreakable. Gearbox - Is nice and accurate.
What I really like about mt15 is the fact that it feels compact and so freaking maneuverable that using this bike in city is like a piece of cake. I would definitely go for this bike than apache rtr 200 4v
I went to book this bike in showroom few days ago and asked, just let me take a test drive. After the test drive, ran as fast as I could to home. Bike is good looking but just has no lower and mid range. Just feels lifeless in city traffic where it will be driven mostly. My friends Unicorn has better lower and mid range than mt15 I mean...was so sure of booking it before the test drive. Don't book before taking a test drive yourself.
That 52T rear sprocket which is a pro in the city turns out to be a con on the highways. As soon as I bought it, I swapped the rear sprocket with the R15’s
Since this video, just like most videos do not address this, let me address the main issue with this bike. The headlights. They are pathetic. I am a Pulsar RS200 user. But I love Yamaha. RS 200 has the most powerful headlights I have ever seen in a bike. MT15 (at least v1) has the worst ones. They are barely visible at night.
This is such a nice bike in the 150cc segment only if it were priced right.. Seems it is atleast 50k overpriced... If priced right this could potentially disrupt the 150cc segment
No chance, MT 125 only exists because of the licensing regulations for beginners in Europe & US. Besides, it will not be much cheaper to build than mt 15.

its 2022 and yet no dual channel abs. Only reason I got tvs apache rtr 180 over the r15 in 2015. 7 years later, Yamaha has still not changed.

If it got dual channel ABS it would be fantastic, but it's pointless paying so much for single channel ABS. I'd rather buy rtr 200 4v or fz 25.
