If you were to ask me in 2024, I strongly advise against coming to the USA for a career in computer science/IT. Job opportunities are increasingly shifting towards India, particularly in offshore positions. Currently, there are graduates from prestigious institutions such as MIT, Stanford, and UC Berkeley seeking employment in the USA, leading to intense competition. The Money, energy and efforts required here does not translate into whatever you are looking for. The education is okayish only for masters program. If you do have a better job and are earning comfortably in your home country, please don't come here.

Hi, I am having an issue. While scheduling the us visa appointment for F1 student visa, it asks me for SEVIS Number and Exchange Visitor Number. But I only have the SEVIS ID and not the Exchange Visitor Number and it is a required field. What should I fill in that column?

I am in h1b in usa ..my son is studying 9th grade here in H4 visa he want to do UG here in 🇺🇸 USA but i want to send him back to India for UG..i am not in position of spending so much money for UG.what is your suggestion? Doing UG in India and PG here..
Pratical advice : send him to Canada. He will get the Canadian passport by the age of 27. Anyone who is advising the people to study in US is making fool of them. Do you want your son to go through the same endless cycle of VISA paper work. if you still want him to study in US, send him to low cost community college.Believe me - There are good community colleges in every state at vey cheap rate. Then he can do PG from a good college. Again I would never advise any Indian candidate to study in the US. No matters how great the college is, he is never going to get the green card. No political party wants to fix this problem. These RUclipsrs never explain the dark side of studying in the US. Your son is already in the US. Think about those who are coming from India by spending hundreds of thousands dollars. As of today, the chances of getting selected in the H1 lottery are 15%. With every passing year, it is reducing. In the next 10 years, the chances will reduce to 5%. Even you get lucky enough you will still be in visa forever

@@YudiJ I want to be an analyst , and Dallas has a better reputation but a very high fee structure, Arlington has avg fees but a very safe university. The coursework is almost the same for both universities , hence confused as both universities come in the same state (Please give me some insights)

Fullerton graduation rate is lowest in California for masters in cs related courses. It's a good university. Bt their courses are most difficult to pass. If ur not good in studies don't go there.
