2024 Cherry Blossom Challenge Cat 3/4

Back at the old stomping grounds in Jersey! Things were going well in this race, one guy got away and the group did not want to work to bring him back. He ended up staying away for the rest of the race with a 20-second gap. Found myself a little farther back than I wanted for the finish, was able to make up a lot of spots and felt so good... until the gap closed, my front wheel was knocked out from under me, and I hit the deck. In the moment it looked like the Skylands rider was moving to the left, so I was going to go between the 2 riders. But then he moved back to the right and initiated his sprint, moving the bike back and right in the way of my front wheel. Fortunately it could've been worse, just a bunch of road rash and bruises. One shifter had to be replaced, but all carbon is fine.
