2024 New Haven Grand Prix Cat 3/4
Quick and surging race! Didn't start as close to the front as I would've liked. Quickly learned that this race is all about moving up. If you're not moving up, you're moving back. A group of 5 made it up the road, eventually dropped to 4. Main group speed kept fluctuating and I attempted to bridge the gap at one point unsuccessfully (19:54). By the end of the race we were only a quarter lap away from being lapped by the breakaway. Finished 21st overall. Fortunately I avoided all crashes.

Another motorsports circuit race! Ben joined me for this race, first time we're racing together since 2019! Very fun and fast course that doesn't bode well for breakaways. Another week at Ninigret! Lots of futile attacks this time. I spent some time on the front chasing attacks and being in them myself. I won the second prime. Finished with a field sprint where I came in 2nd to Ethan again.

First prime initiated a breakaway with Ethan, Lucas bridged over. Then it was 40 minutes of pain. Last 2 laps were a bit of cat-and-mouse where I stayed at the back. Figured my best chance at victory was to initiate the sprint, so I did. ALMOST had it, but Ethan took the win in a photo finish. 2nd place for me! Great race!

Wednesday night NBX race at Ninigret Park! There was some pretty intense fog during the race which made glasses almost useless. It also made me a bit cautious on the corners as everything was wet. Rainy day on this relatively hilly course. the field was small with only 16 riders starting. Everyone was cautious on the descent, myself a little less so. Fun course, although very bumpy. Speed sensor wasn't registering, so i turned it off after the first lap. At one point I found myself off the front of the group, so I gave it a little juice to see how long it would stick. Only lasted a lap before it wasn't worth it anymore. Cat 2/3 Race at the 2024 Tour of Somerville! Finished 24th out of about 110 starters. Rain started coming down heavy just before the starting whistle, and finished not long after the finishing bell. Conditions were very slick, especially the manhole covers, but that meant people were a bit more cautious through the corners. The pace was blisteringly fast the whole time. Felt good overall!

Back at the old stomping grounds in Jersey! Things were going well in this race, one guy got away and the group did not want to work to bring him back. 10th overall, 7th in the field sprint. I was in the breakaway at first but those guys were just too strong. Spent the rest of the race wasting energy following attacks. Overall happy with the result, but there's things to work on as always!

Tried something new with the new camera with doing a livestream of the race. Didn't go as expected! Unfortunately I only have the first 30 minutes of the race here. Beautiful day for racing! Totally agree! The crash was completely avoidable. I made a decision that ended up costing me. In hindsight, I should've communicated more, letting the rider know where I was so I could have room. Also I knew where the wind was coming from and probably should've been on the other side of the road to be more in the clear, but shielded from the wind. One could say all crashes are noob crashes, but they happen! Thanks for watching!

Hello. I have this tarmac with same colour : Gloss Carbon/Oil Tint/Forest Green. I can see the carbon fiber under the paint. It's not very aesthetic and gives the appearance of defects. Do you know if this is normal?
Yes this is normal! That is the primary "gloss carbon" showing through! No need to worry, just enjoy!
I had a similar s-works chameleon color in 2022..very stealth looking..i sold it and swapped for the 2022 blue lagoon w stripes color frame..the SL7 is a very nimble, fast and light weight bike..folks just hate on the price..😅

Yes I ride a 61cm frame. I am 184cm tall.

Are those the Roval C38 wheels?
Yes! They came with the bike.
I swapped the c38wheels with the 370 hubs out for the CL2 roval wheels w the 350dtswiss hub..both are a nice set of wheels
I bought this same bike at a bike shop and they gave me some cheap ass wheels smh🤦🏽♂️
