Kudos to Go Flat Out PH for the thorough review on the 2024 Toyota Zenix Hybrid! Your well-presented information and genuine enthusiasm made my decision-making process much smoother.
9:17 it doesn't bother me. My wish for Toyota is that they installed projector lights instead of just LED for zenix 's headlights. It is not bright enough for my liking and the foglights are kinda inexistent.
Ganda. Comfort
Am confused with your review of hatak or acceleration with the zenix bs the innova. Based on actual acceleration data the zenix has a 0-100kph of 11.09 seconds while the innova does it in 15.02 seconds. That is almost a 4 seconds difference. You might say that a diesel is relatively slower when it comes to acceleration but a hybrid has an electric motor wherein torque is felt immediately. We have to always take into account the useful torque and hp in real life application use in daily driving.
Owned mo ba yan sir? Kung owned. Ilang days/months ang waiting time for purchase. And how much ang bigay sayo. Sa fb mga agents offer nila 2.4m usually. E parang nasa 1.9m++ sya. Planning to have one hopefully this year.
Not mine but Toyota's own press car that they lend to the media for a week. Pero yes we're told there's a shortage in stocks globally of the Zenix (mostly in left-hand drive) but wait times should be shortened in the coming months.
Thank you for the review. I do wonder how the unit performed on a uphill with 6 good guys on board? Will it have the same torque with the previous model? Mated with a CVT, i wonder if it will be as durable as the old one.
GFO given the price point, will you go for this vs the Fortuner G? Why? (PPV vs an MPV). Again given the same price point, since you mentioned the Honda Odyssey that is no longer sold, would you go for this VS the Hyundai Custin (luxury minivan/mpv). The concept of the zenix is not new, there is the Okavango which is a lot cheaper, why would you go for the zenix?
For us, we don't need the ruggedness of a body-on-frame chassis at any point of our driving routines so we'd go for the Zenix. Versus the Custin, we still have yet to schedule one but it's coming. Our fellow media friends have noted its engine's non-linear power delivery (mostly concentrated on surging all that torque only when the turbos have spooled) so for now, I'd assume the Zenix delivers power a lot more smoothly. We'd still go for the Zenix hybrid instead of the Okavango due to it being a true hybrid as opposed to just a 48-volt integrated starter generator mild hybrid. But if we're talking about the non-hybrid Zenix (video here: ruclips.net/video/9dBdTQyGru8/видео.html) we prefer the Okavango due to the better power delivery of its 48-volt mild hybrid drivetrain and its (surprisingly) smooth wet DCT.
The engine’s revs do flare up so much at uphills, but it’s not struggling per se. It’s really just the hybrid system’s nature due to its planetary gear e-CVT. There’s plenty of pull at uphills though the diesel’s still the better suited engine for such a duty.
I'd rather choose Hyundai Custin over this, Custin is loaded with tech it and looks like a mini Kia carnival comes with sliding door, 2nd row captain seats are all powered. The only advantage with Zenix is their hybrid engine.
@@znemzzz are you a Hyundai Custin owner? If not how did you got in on a private owners group? Can you shed us non owners some issues? Because i am really serious in getting one, the only complain i heard from an actual owner is the headlight is not that bright.
I wonder where you use those Panoramic Roof, my only practical idea of using it is when you get flooded and you can’t open the doors and windows to get out. Or you are a politician campaigning
Ahhhh been waiting for a thorough review like this, with the vehicle loaded with passengers
that Sonax transition is GOATED. wasn't expecting that.

Always spot on review. Letting go of Ride with Levi, dito na ako. Caco pa din is the man to beat in terms of review. Well done dude!
@toyotaph
No captain seat on non hybrid too
Is it true they stopped production due to lack of battery parts/components?
Waiting for Zenix in India with Panoramic Sunroof
Is the hybrid model coding exempt?

How's the NVH compared to Mazda CX8?
Great Auto. I wish they have more available stocks.
Sir may turbo po yan
Yung steering wheel di po ba pwede adjust to the left?
I kinda get it. If I were in the market for a new 7-seater baka i-test drive ko to :)
All the features are nice and plush, but what im curious about is it clanky like the Fortuner?
This shares nothing in particular with the current fortuner, except for some interior switches, so no its not clunky at all.
Ganda ng review nato.

Okavango is a mild hybrid right?
Thanks GFO for the insight!
Those of you who want a PANORAMIC SUNROOF please hit like

Is it exempted from coding?
Yes it is! :D

Join the custin group and read their issues, go for it if its acceptable for you

Can you shed us non owners some issues? Because i am really serious in getting one, the only complain i heard from an actual owner is the headlight is not that bright.
@mpcrtz7747 Mostly you'll hear about the fuel consumption that ranges from 6 to 9 kmpl in city, and the non-linear power delivery.
Does the engine go rough when charging the battery?
Yes, mostly when it starts up to charge the battery at low speeds! Honda's done a better job at this aspect actually compared to Toyota.
@@GoFlatOutPHThis Zenix resembles the USDM Toyota Highlander due to its Exterior Design while the cockpit is borrowed from LC300.
Matibay kaya pang ilalim nyan? Solid ba like the previous innova?
Sayang wala syang panoramic sunroof/moonroof.
Mantap
id rather choose custin or tiggo 8 pro
Tiggo 8 😅
Why the hell are most Toyota front wheel drive? Toyota is making money on giving the philippines cheaper cars!

Oo nga walang panoramic sunroof
Not it's not a successor if they replace innova with this piece of s then consumers would just go buy base fortuner or the veloz and avanza.
Gfo...think twice to get one😢
"Promo SM" 😂
Tail light is so old fashioned
