- Hi Everyone
Welcome back to MEC-TEC, in this video the C1 has Earned its STRIPES !
We are going to install new side stripes + I have finally sorted out the wheel centres, however the rear brake drums are letting the side down so they need to be sorted !
Lets crack on and get some work done !

Another great watch. In the past when I've done vinyl work I found using masking tape along the top (so its half on half off) if its a long length slice halfway but leave it in situ, then lift the vinyl up off the backing then squeegee down once backing is removed makes it a little easier but looked great nevertheless. Lovely job on drums and centres. It's these small jobs that make a car aesthetically pleasing on the eye that can add £££s.

i Love your vids mate!, I also own a C1 (2013 Collection Edition, black color, pre-facelift), and am really fond of that little one as well :-) i also am 'pimping' it with side-stripes, hood-stripes (all in a bronze/gold color), Decepticon logos (cause a friend of mine called it a little black evil Transformer car once haha), bronze/gold hupcaps and some more subtle little stripes under the tail-light units)...also stuck some carbon fiber on the headlights to give it a 'serious' look at the front (lets call it 'eye-brows'). So really cool to see you 'facelifting' yours 🙂 Citroen-greetz from Holland (oh and you got a new subscriber from now on ;-))

Big fan of the channel would you know if Fox Racing R4 15” Alloy Wheels would fit my 2009 c1
Hi mate, thanks ! Glad you like the channel, Im not sure on those wheels, it all depends on the spec, 15" will fit fine but you need to get the correct offset which is 38, the offset can be slightly less but not to much otherwise the wheels will stick out to far, hope this helps, Regards MEC

Hi mate sorry for the delay in replying, they have Manahay euro edition on the back, made in china and a number of WK-139, they are 15x6.5j and offset of 38

Would 15inch MR2 alloys fit on a C1 with the offset of 35?
Hi, i would think so, the original offset is 38, so they will stick out slightly further but should be ok
