    A lot of doctors threw their hipocratic oath of "FIRST DO NO HARM" out the window in 2021 and have totally lost the trust and respect of their patients.

    From a 77 year old codger from the back woods of Arkansas: I think the MDs initially aspired to a worthy occupation, only to have paid for being propagandize into a cult. The treatments are laid out in stone by insurance companies, in the mid 20th century. The procedures, from diagnose to treatment in business profit center fashion to enrich the Pharma Industry, while propping up a massive Insurance Industry and to continue flow fodder for the mill of the huge Hospital Industry. Every doctor’s move is programmed lock-step in those procedures. If the doctor wants to get paid, he can’t deviate. It’s all complaint, diagnose, treatment. Every symptom leads to a pill. The patient and the doctor is both out of the loop. And it’s mostly obsolete 20th Century Medicine, with no room for innovation.

      @@HerbertVickers , you nailed it. We may have free healthcare here in the UK, but it's all about generating profits for big pharma. Keeping people ill , keeping them on drugs for life that only mitigate symptoms is highly profitable.

    Dr. Story, I just went in for annual wellness check up Tuesday before Thanksgiving. My blood pressure was 109 over 79. Thank you for that. I wholeheartedly agree with you about your views. The nurse and the doctor did not want to give another wellness because I already had one in January. Told them I spoke to my insurance regarding this.

    I love my doctor, very capable, very caring, very educated and up to date. But Medicine in general (nursing, imaging, etc) sucks. This video explains a lot. Pay is low, autonomy is practically non existent, hours are soul destroying. Ppl are burning out, worked to death. Compassion is not allowed. Medical professionals are not allowed any input because the corporations, insurance companies, CEOs call ALL the shots. One company actually tried to limit anesthesia time in the OR! GET THE MONEY OUT OF MEDICINE . GET THE FOR PROFIT CONGLOMERATES OUT OF MEDICINE. GET THE BILLIONAIRE OLIGARCHS OUT OF CONTROL OF MEDICINE. Will not get better until this happens. I know. I've been there

      Doctors have always been about medication and surgery. That's as it should be, and that's how they nearly doubled the human lifespan. Unfortunately, that approach often doesn't help with quality of life. Why are they all quitting now? They have no autonomy, and hospitals want patients seen every 15 minutes followed by 30 minutes of paperwork. They can't help anybody that way and they get burned out. Thats whats changed.When I was a kid, doctors stayed in practice until they carried them out of the hospital.

      I loved my doctor, he was gruff but had my welfare in his heart. He committed suicide. It came as a real shock to us. He was divorced, had a practice in a poor side of town, could have been wealthy if he had moved his practice to a better area. He seemed to be always in control. We never thought to tell him how much we appreciated him. For those doctors who are in it to help others, tell them you are pleased with their efforts and have a little mercy. No one is perfect.

    • @marktapley7571
      @marktapley7571 15 часов назад

      @@CN-mw9uk Medicine has had practically nothing to do with lifespan. The main factor before the modern day was childhood mortality. Better nutrition and sanitation fixed that. Look at the first presidents of the U.S. who had primitive healthcare. Note that Washington would have almost certainly lived years longer, had his doctors not bled him to death. Since the “just trust the science” program, life expectancy has gone down in the U.S. by almost 3 years.

    Is it actually illegal to set out a shingle w hours you like and have an emergency visit policy? We need more wellness medical doctors...the patient should be allowed by Congress to apply for expenses using an easy form to insurance...we need more coaches and it should be necessary for insurance companies and hospitals make it mandatory to allow these doctors to admit at the hospital. Granted the human body is a incredable device, capable of repair of, and reproduction of it's self with approate inputs on many levels. In most all of us the parts are the same location top to bottom, and do the same thing. Try being a auto mechanic, most of the parts do the same thing more or less, they may be under the hood front , rear or in the middle or somewhere else. At least an auto can be shut off and taken apart for study and repair..Just venting steam!!! A retired auto mechanic. I have a lot of repect for most Doctors.

      I am a retired podiatrist. I have a great chiropractor who used electric acupuncture on me to give me almost 20 years of a pain-free back. Love him. I think MD's are tired of dealing with insurance companies, spending more time in the computer than with the patient, and having hospitals controlling the amount of time they spend with their patients. In the past, doctors were not taught about nutrition. That has only been happening in the past few years. Right now I have a very good doctor. I have had him for 35 years. He taught himself nutrition. He is 70 and will probably retire in a couple of years. I am 75, eat a whole food plant based diet and an on no meds, just a few supplements. I feel that I was the lucky one.
