@@lidijadimeska650 it’s all trial and error man. i got incredibly lucky with my therapist being a great match for me and a great dr in general, but that doesn’t mean i didn’t have to go through the motions of finding my person. i understand it can be discouraging but you just have to try and stay resilient, because if you truly want the help you will find a way to get it. also, it’s not like you just meet them and then tell them every intimate detail of yourself or your life. you have to get to know each other first to set boundaries and become comfortable with one another because you obviously have to feel as if you can be open with this person. it’s their job to not pass judgement and to hear you out. if you don’t feel as if that’s happening then you just need to try again because there are good doctors out there. i would also very much suggest seeking someone with 20+ years of experience and a psychologist specifically because they tend to have a wider range of experience and knowledge. it may not be ‘comfortable’ but you can’t grow inside your comfort zone.
