Thanks for being the only person who ever mentioned that it interferes with the HRM chest strap. I was so close to buying one and now my search continues for a hydration vest. Thanks for the honesty
I used this set up for a 63k trail with the naked waist belt in addition and it worked out fine. I enjoyed the ease of the bottles to slide in and out compared to UD and Salomon vest. The waist belt is just a nice option if room is needed. For mandatory race kit…
For an ultra you may struggle with 3l of capacity depending on minimum kit requirements. On a warm ultra last year I had just over 10 miles between some stations and was running right out of water with 2 500ml, couldn’t do it on smaller bottles. I like the idea of that vest but my Salomon holds more, doesn’t interfere with a Garmin chest strap and has bottles lower and reckon it is easier to get a coat over, the bottles look to sit quite high and in the middle on that one. Get that ultra booked soon 👍👍
I think the issue with HR chest strap might be an individual issue, possibly depending on size/physique etc as I have absolutely no issue with the Naked vest and my chest strap, neither with fit nor function.
Salomon make the best hydration vests… I cycled thru a number of different ones before I finally decided to spend the money on a Salomon one and I’m so happy I did
I’m interested in the naked running belt as a possible flip belt zipper upgrade do to from what I can make out, it holds more. But i can’t find any stockists in the uk. Can you let me know where you got the Naked vest? Have you any thoughts on the belt against the flip belt? Thanks mate
@@mister.myoung8601 I got my naked running vest at tradeinn they sell the belt too. It's based in spain, i got sent to uk. No import charges. The vest is amazing much better than the decathlon one
Looks good, but 100+ of your English pounds? Those who regularly partake in Ultras may consider it but...! I am sooo bad at ultras... so here is my very early advice for you 😃 Have a running buddy - it seems you have sorted that out already! That is most important. Race to the Stones: 100k in one day? Well within your capabilities already! 36hours cut of ... plenty of route markings. July... Summer.. Usual precautions. Great choice of ultra.

The rear logo is a bit on the small side, I usually like to run with an advertising board style.

Love my Camelbak vest with bladder and tube. Much prefer to the chest flasks. Great video again Fordy and bang on comment at the end. 👍
I have one from Decathlon and I think it’s brilliant. Was only 30 Euro

Can’t beat the Salomon Advanced Skin. Best in class 👑

Agreed. They are the best.
What are the glasses you're wearing?
Scott have brought out a similar vest, roughly the same price.
Interesting thanks I’ll check that out
