Why does Kaisa fights void?

This video tells the story of Kai'Sa, the Daughter of the Void. Once an ordinary girl from Shurima, she was torn from her family and trapped in the terrifying world of the Void. Forced to survive alone, she fused with a Void creature’s carapace, gaining its powers but losing a piece of her humanity. Now, Kai'Sa fights both for and against the Void, protecting Runeterra from the very darkness that transformed her.
