You say that, but the crazy part* is when his trailer dropped I did have some Vector & Virus, nice to see another Haken enthusiast in the GG fandom! lol
At long last, That Man, the Gear Maker, Asuka R. Kreutz makes his playable debut. And with his final theme, all is revealed. He has spent his entire life dedicated to studying magic and the nature of the universe, but his high intelligence and aptitude left him isolated from his other peers and lacking in social skills. Even his fellow students, who eventually became the Conclave, ended up disagreeing with him and could not come to terms with his ideas. He continued onward, alone, until the day he finally met Frederick and Aria. Unfortunately by that point, he was so used to being alone and working alone that he couldn't consider his friends' feelings, and didn't realize until it was too late that the actions he took for their sake only ended up hurting his relationship with them. Frederick, now Sol, came to believe Asuka had betrayed him, when in reality he wanted Frederick and Aria to be together by evolving them into Gears. From that point, everything spiraled out of control. His attempt to revive Aria failed as she was warped into Justice, and he became known as a war criminal. But in spite of everything, he still pressed onward with his plan for human and Gear coexistence, and in the end, he finally redeemed himself and saw his dream come to fruition. Humans and Gears now coexist with one another, and his best friends are finally together at last. Now he spends his days chilling on Space Colony Ark, hosting a podcast.
@@arthuryong8562 and to believe all that backstory for 1 character came from a song in a fighting game where you fight a pirate girl who flings dolphins at you
@@rodrigorosa4419 Yeah, but, at least from its perspective, it's not made of Gear Cells like Happy Chaos might be. Asuka could destroy his copies at any time.
I know the moment Asuka was gonna become a fighter in this game two things we’re gonna being apparent in his theme: It was going to feel like a final boss song-as a lot of people have already agreed he’s essentially the “final boss” character of this series despite only being playable now and the story modes being just movies-and going to have some vibe of a holy ballad and my god, they did it. Daisuke truly understands his characters more with each of these songs. Cannot wait to see what Season 3 waves of characters have in store for us.
I love how Asuka's theme sounds like absolute FG boss music at certain parts. Considering who he is and what he's done in GG it fits That Man to a *T.*
tbh, I wasn't expecting this theme to be as long as Ramlethal or Zato's themes, and the way it takes more cues of Dream Theater makes me think that it came straight out of Blazblue. But in the end, it's a song worthy of finally being able to play "That Man".
Dunno how alone I'd be in this thought, but the way the song starts and ends reminds me of a News channel broadcast, lol 1:40 _God, the organ is sending me tho, in a holy way_

As a fan of Haken, Devin Townsend and Dream Theater, this feels like a massive trip down memory lane. All hail Ishiwatari.
Can really feel the Dream Theater in this one
If you removed the vocals I think this could genuinely pass as an official Dream Theatre song

Yea that won't stop people from gladly beating him to death in Strive
But... Happy Chaos 'The real That man' and 'the Original' framed him.
Reading this with the last lyrics hit me hard

its not really him lmao
"Do you believe in Gravity?"
Yes Pucci, I do
No
*oh he flieeeeeees*
I knew one of y’all would say that the moment I saw that title 😂
But...Does he know a thing or two about Dandyism?
Ye
Asuka R. Kreutz: the introvert
Asuka R#: the extrovert
Yeah, as a person who made a sort of clone of himself, I think he didn't expect the other to be a near antithesis of him, or at least, not entirely.
@@theelitehunter699 I'm just hoping it doesn't end up like the Universal Will (Ariels) or Happy Chaos...

GGST Season 2: *THE*
I seriously wonder if this was intentional or not

20 years of waiting people
Hearing the organ put a smile on my face.
We're casting spells with this one boys
Can't wait for Asuka R++

The song gives vibes of an astronaut who ascended from earth and discovers the beauty of the universe

Can't wait to try Asuka out
Yo gmx thanks for uploading 👍
BANGER
I mean this in the best way but this song has some serious BlazBlue vibes especially later on.
Funny thing is that Asuka has Ragna's Japanese VA.
I can’t help but also feel a little bit of Hard Corps Uprising at the start.
GMX YOU STAY WINNING
The organ in this song......fuck
I was wondering what instrument that was. The organ kinda reminds me of Keep in Gates from GGXX.
0:37 sounds godly
Next dizzy or elphet so the whole family is there
Daisuke please, I beg for just a crumb of Slayer.
Goldlewis: crumb you say?
I can't deny his theme in this game and Millia's theme in Xrd had BlazBlue sounding music.
Please let the next character be venom and have a theme as equally as good as this
Epic song about his bakery
Reminds me of the OST from Astral Chain which in-turn reminds me of Djent
i miss ps3......good times, strive too.....
Le son est faible pourquoi ?
God, how the hell does Daisuke not miss??
I really the next character is Raven
it gotta be Zappa for sure

I want my main A.B.A to come back...someday
Its so gonna be Dizzy
