They didn't have nuclear weapons, they were the Soviet Union's stationed in Ukraine, Moscow had the right to them as was agreed to in the Budapest Memorandum. How would USA feel if Germany, or the UK, or Turkey, or Qatar wanted the nuclear weapons that US has in these countries? Part of that agreement was broken when the CIA and US State Department staged a coup in Ukraine and then flooded Ukraine with Western weapons, that was breaking agreement that US and UK signed along with Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. "Refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of the signatories to the memorandum, and undertake that none of their weapons will ever be used against these countries." NATO/US/UK stated this by breaking agreement.

Looks to me as if he is about to prevail...he will divide or conquer Ukraine in the next 2 years, NATO and the EU will be weakened and isolated,and the sanctions lifted as Europe goes back to seeking trade deals with Russia for gas and oil.

He had very good reasons to believe that the West would only supply weapons to Ukraine and not intervene directly themselves. He was proven correct. He is playing a very dangerous game domestically and he really is risking escalation of a nasty type, but so far he is getting some of what he wants and can see getting everything he wants within 4 years (the length of Trump's term.) Biden's reluctance to intervene more directly and Europe's mixed response has only emboldened him. The truth is: the land forces of France and Poland, together with the navy of the UK and the Air Forces of NATO (minus the U.S.) would end the war in weeks. Russia cannot both defend its heartland/Moscow and fight in Ukraine. You see the drones getting through, so you can imagine what 200 F-35s would do, followed by 300,000 NATO troops, most of which are already within 300 km of the Russian border. How would USA feel if Germany, or the UK, or Turkey, or Qatar wanted the nuclear weapons that US has in these countries? Part of that agreement was broken when the CIA and US State Department staged a coup in Ukraine and then flooded Ukraine with Western weapons, that was breaking agreement that US and UK signed along with Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. "Refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of the signatories to the memorandum, and undertake that none of their weapons will ever be used against these countries." NATO/US/UK stated this by breaking agreement.
I read the agreement and they only said they supported the sovereignty of .Ukraine, meaning they would not invade Ukraine. Russia signed it too. Only Russia has defaulted.

Looks to me as if he is about to prevail...he will divide or conquer Ukraine in the next 2 years, NATO and the EU will be weakened and isolated,and the sanctions lifted as Europe goes back to seeking trade deals with Russia for gas and oil.

He saw Crimea coming into his hands pretty easily and thought, "what the hell, let's take the rest of Ukraine. How bad can it go?" He had very good reasons to believe that the West would only supply weapons to Ukraine and not intervene directly themselves. He was proven correct. And has a better than even chance of keeping what he has if the West doesn't do more quick. He is playing a very dangerous game domestically and he really is risking escalation of a nasty type, but so far he is getting some of what he wants and can see getting everything he wants within 4 years (the length of Trump's term.) Biden's reluctance to intervene more directly and Europe's mixed response has only emboldened him. The truth is: the land forces of France and Poland, together with the navy of the UK and the Air Forces of NATO (minus the U.S.) would end the war in weeks. Russia cannot both defend its heartland/Moscow and fight in Ukraine. You see the drones getting through, so you can imagine what 200 F-35s would do, followed by 300,000 NATO troops, most of which are already within 300 km of the Russian border. Russia is very vulnerable: lots of flat land, not enough air defenses. And a population which will not resist -- look at Kursk, that would be how it would work everywhere.

There were Russian emigrants in Nazi Germany in 1941. And there was an Orthodox church in Berlin - I think until 1943, when it was finally closed. So everything you say is not an indicator.
And you can rest assured - before these emigrants can create problems, they will all end up in concentration camps or ghettos. NATO is a _defense_ alliance, historically to protect themselves from... guess who? Russia, a country that has historically invaded and occupied its neighbors since its inception.
