Awesome! We need more videos like this. All the combo videos out there are great but they don't teach you much about how to actually play better.
Also something I learned is that, after Ken's st.hp, there's a certain window where if you press V-skill to cancel, it will only cancel on hit, leaving you safe if they block it. It looks like it'll make hit confirming into v-skill a lot easier if you get the timing down.
5 months later and this is still useful! Thank you!

Thank you Momochi, i watch your videos against other players and i think you're great. Ken is my main, but i can't get to silver unfortunately. The highest i got to is ultra bronze. It comes close, but can't seem to get to silver.

Hitting the right button off that confirm is extremely difficult but I feel like it might be the difference between mid and high level ken players. Momochi already seems to be on the path to mastering it already.

Hey momochi , I wish u read this , u r a great player especially that u r playing with ken which is my " love " player since sf2 , since the first time I played the game , I only play using ken , anyway I wanna give u a nickname that I guess it fits u , " keng momochi " I wrote keng not King cuz I guess it points to u as King & point to ur favorite character ken as well so it goes " keng momochi " or "momochi the keng " , wish u the best ;)

as a Dan Player in usf4 I feel that Ken is the Most similar to him in play Style Among the sf5 characters. can you confirm?
Do you think I should use him or rather wait for a possible Dan dlc in sf5?
Is it easier to chain combos in sf5 cause I destroyed my controller during sf4 just mashing the button to get a proper combo?

it's called hit confirm. the first is to make sure it connected then second goes into combo

MOMOCHI I seem to have trouble performing DP (Shoryuken) after using crouching normals. How do you guys pull it off and any suggestions?
Hold down foward press punch/kick then press foward punch
I've played Street Fighter since 1991 and it's one thing I still have a bit of trouble with. Luckily, in SFIV and V you can "cheat" with a shortcut.
Df+P/K > d, df+P. Works every single time this way. So I use it when the damage really matters.

you forgot to mention HOW GOD AWFUL KENS FOOTSIE GAME IS AND HOW ZANGIEFS CROUCHING JAB HAS AS MUCH RANGE AND HIS ROUNDHOUSE
What are you talking about ? Ken's cr.MP has an amazing hitbox, his walk speed alone is terrifying, he has one of the best shimmies and can convert into huge damage from Crush counters from all ranges unlike most characters.
Can buffer Vtrigger in his whiffed normals to create OS, if they hit VT comes out and you convert to damage. so No, his footsie game is not awful at all.
The st.Jab rang is great and scary when Ken player mixes it up with
Jab > walk forward throw
or
Jab > walk forward shimmy.
or
Jab > st.HK.
his st.LK is a Inbuilt footsie tool , and Shoryu can easily be buffered in a whiffed st.LK.
Ken got one of the best footsies in the game.
