I believe defenders that came after Rodman copied his defence , but avoided his rebounding style as that took more effort. Instead more focus upon screening and boxing out which doesn't create a stat. I think in HIS era he knew he had to have a stat so he focused offensive rebounds. It forced a second possession and a reset of the shot clock.

lmao hahahah 😁🤣
so you think if he had to come up and play in the 90's he wouldnt be physical ?
Craziest thing that happens here... Kerr missed the free throw
I wonder if there was a tech called at the buzzer in a game 7 nba finals; and the bulls had 2 free throws with 0:00 on the game clock; down by 1 point......
Who would shoot the free throws? Jordan or Kerr?
Do u think Kerr would want to? Or do you think they would go with Jordan? Do you think Jordan would demand to???
@@jrsmith1998Hard to say considering Jordan never played in a 7th game in the NBA Finals 😉
But with the '98 team, if Kerr was in the floor, Kerr shot the tech, otherwise MJ. Same with the earlier 90s championships, except replace Kerr with Hodges.

The look on Rodman's face.
Like, hey.......that's my thing.
Steve probably got a punch in lover room for that miss
I miss Rodman that fool was entertaining.
Steve Kerr missed the freethrow 😱
THAT was surprising... LOL
It hurt my soul
I believe defenders that came after Rodman copied his defence , but avoided his rebounding style as that took more effort. Instead more focus upon screening and boxing out which doesn't create a stat. I think in HIS era he knew he had to have a stat so he focused offensive rebounds. It forced a second possession and a reset of the shot clock.
Rodman made an already incredible team amazing.
Definately would be having nightmares after playing against Dennis Rodman and his mind games.
Hey at least he didn’t shoot Rodman and then ask the other Nets to help him cover it up.
low hanging fruit tastes good
real talk
that was lame honestly
The cover up?... yes very lame. The guy should have gotten life.
grigsolve we're not supposed to be talking about that
"I ain't a killa just don't push me!!!"😂🤣😂
Michael, and Scottie, loved that bad boy, Chicago Bulls were a force. He earned the name Worm and wore it well.
Jayson was mad because the Bulls chose Rodman instead of him! That's a whole fact...
Not really Jayson Williams was as good as Dennis Rodman
I think I have the whole game recorded on a VHS cassette, with mexican narration from TV Azteca.
Tell me Rodman would tear Donkey Green and today's NBA to shred
No se olviden de aquel maravilloso y olvidado PAN WONDER
The most powerful player in the NBA history athletic player..I watched NBA from 80s to present I saw the comparison of every era
Back when the NBA was HYPE
Rodman is always baiting people and doing mind games, Jayson Williams was the main man in NJ then until sadly the shooting drama happened 😞
He stopped being the man there WELL before that shooting crap. Lets be real
Main man basketball wise? He wasn't even playing anymore when that incident happened
He was working for the NBA on NBC at the time, he definitely wasn't still playing
He averaged over 13 ppg once in his career. I don’t think he was ever the man anywhere
Wow... haha. No, Van Axel was the man... shit Sherman Douglas was better 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Was this the Jayson Williams that went to prison?
Yup
Rodman was a basketball genius the man knew how to play the game one of the greatest defenders ever. Ever
If u guys watch the last dance documentary, MJ said he didn’t care how much Rodman partied. He said Rodman was always on point on every game and every practice
Yo is that john calipari coaching the nets?
yep
He has done better at UK, then again UK pays better!
+Kurt Greaser LOL!
Verce 919 Yeah and he had a chance to draft Kobe Bryant.
Wait what happened with the tornado?
Idk man you're just gonna have to keep "watch"
Hanging out with Rodman must have been a blast
The Good Ole Days!😍
The best rebounder ever and what's crazy is Dennis was never a big guy. He was a undersized PF
he was super athletic and strong af tho. Plus he was batshit crazy. lol.
Can you imagine the match up between a prime Dennis Rodman versus Draymond Green? OMG.
Or Lance Stephenson.
Tehui1974 green has no shot
Tehui1974 Yes. Rodman would mentally destroy him. But, in today's game, Rodman would be tossed in the 1st quarter. Soft ass league. And Draymond wasn't anything special if you look at 90s basketball. Tough guys were a dime a dozen. And they were more physical than Green. Rodman would eat him up.
chrisx2k6
Draymond is just trying to add in some of the 90s seriousness. He may not be able to “survive” (I mean, he’d do way better than a lot of players of the 2010s era..) but he’s smart. Like Rodman, he likes to get under people’s skins.
Rodman would destroy Green.
I miss those days. Life was so normal then by today's comparison
Oldschool basketball was the best lots of legendary players around that time.
DIDN'T WILLIAMS KILL HIS LIMO DRIVER WITH A SHOTGUN LIKE 15YRS AGO...
Is anyone surprised? Williams killed his limo driver with a shotgun.
Allegedly it was an accident I’m not seeing how that’s possible tho 🤷🏻♂️
I’m glad you said it because I was going to comment. It was an accident but he still was acting recklessly with a firearm.
I was waiting for the first idiot to mention Jayson Williams accidentally killing his driver ...you are the winner..didnt take long either...
James Vickers Apparently it was on your mind too if you were waiting for “some idiot” to comment on it. I do think he’s sincerely heartbroken about it and I don’t think he should have went to prison
Allegedly????
Rodman... Best hustle player ever. He did all the little things consistently and knew his role.
Mannnn I miss 90's basketball
