I made this exact switch and am super happy. The 5 Pro was awesome but seeing its battery life and ESPECIALLY its operating speed/smoothness compared to the Ultra made glad I made the switch. The Ultra is fantastic, although I only paid around $240 for it and wouldn't pay a cent more lol.
Verizon is offering the same if I swap in my Pro 5, and I have small wrists. The 45mm seems big; I can't imagine the Ultra at 47mm. Would I regret this if I don't update? I really need it for sleep, blood pressure, heart rate, and walking. I should get a Fitbit, but I love my Samsung watches, or the Pixel Pro 9; the eco looked interesting, but I've read about many mistakes from Pixel 9 Pro users.
@0secdox if you can afford it I'd do it and just return if the size is too big. Another reason I upgraded was because the slower processing meant that getting my HR took forever on the 5 Pro, which isn't a problem now. That could also be due to the sensors being blocked from wear and tear but I cleaned my watch often so I doubt it was a mechanical issue like that. I say give it a shot, worst case you can just return it.

That's a killer price!

You have the ultra few weeks and the 5 pro over 2 years so then you said the pro has picked up few scratches it would after 2 years
The 5 Pro has picked up more scratches in general. Even in it's early stages it picked up scratches easily
