It’s finally time to return to the universe of Star Wars and, more specifically, Mandalorians! I used to do a series taking Marvel and DC superheroes and turning them into Mandalorians and then I promptly abandoned it for some reason. Now, we’re finally back, but since it is Mario Day, I figured we could do Famous Video Game Characters as Mandos! It’s extra perfect timing since the Mandalorian Season 3 has started coming out on Disney+
First, we start with a story of Link from Zelda Breath of the wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and turn him into a Mando. Next, I take Kratos from God of War Ragnarok and just God of War in general, and make him an vibroblade swinging Mando on Hoth. Then, I turn Tracer of Overwatch and Overwatch 2 fame into a Mando. Finally, I take Mario and make him into a heroic, fire shooting Mandalorian on Tatooine.

I was half expecting a Master Cheif Mando but I'm pleased to say I wasn't disappointed. This was a good episode! Mabye since Halo Infinite's multiplayer season 3 is now out you could do a halo variety video. Have a great weekend, can't wait for Monday!

I know that it's Mario Day, but I think I'm going to have to go with Kratos as my favorite Mandalorian of the video. Definitely would be down to see another round of Mandalorian videos again (especially since The Mandalorian has made it's triumphant return), which brings me to my request for another Mandalorian: the Skylanders! Maybe that could serve as an episode in and of itself. Personally speaking, I would love one primarily focused on the Giants as they were me and my brother's introduction to the series.
Either way, thank you for another awesome video, and I look forward to the next one on Monday!

I haven't seen a series of this in a long, long time. I'm glad you came back to it. Your designs for churning Madalorian Armors out from some of the greats of Pop Culture is truly a blessed thing, PopCross.

It's honestly overdue at this point hahaha, but finally here!
My favourite drawing this time would definitely have to be the Tracer one; I really liked the pose you gave her, it really fits her personality, and changing the Blink trail to a real colour to better contrast with the sky was a nice touch. I also really liked the story for what I am calling the “Marilorian”, especially the parts where the narrator’s rescue attempts go comically wrong (karma is cruel and unforgiving). Awesome video for Mario Day, keep up the stellar work!
Today is Day 35 of me requesting an episode of Shovel Knight characters as dragons.
Despite the Suicide Squad game once again being delayed, I still suggest cartoon characters on the Suicide Squad.
Like Anne from Amphibia (arrested sometime after her return to Earth at the start of season 3), Star Butterfly from Star vs the Forces of Evil (arrested for her attempt to destroy all magic in the multiverse), El Tigre (his flip-flopping between hero and villain having caught-up to him), or Koala Man (taken in after he took the blame for starting the 2nd Emu War at the end of episode 7).
An awesome idea to make is Cult of the Lamb Bosses as Dragons
Or as a horror story since the game already had plenty of horror elements.

Can I just say that I LOVED the reference to Vah Medoh with the Link one? Medoh was the first Divine Beast I ever completed in my first ever playthrough of Breath of the Wild, so it holds a special place in my heart

*Crystal Gems as Mech Armors*
Storywise, I think you can explain away the whole alien origins thing by saying the Crystal Gems in this universe are just regular humans from earth, but they use their respective magic crystals (which are alien in origin) as power sources for their mechs.
Steven's mech would obviously be one specially built for him, but he uses the power core that formally belonged to his mom, which he inherited from her after she passed away.
You can even do Fusions like Garnet or Alexandrite by saying Benny programmed these mechs to be able to combine with each other!
It's just a suggestion but I think it would be so cool! (And you just know Dr. C. McGregor is gonna have a fit at yet another cartoon he knows being something else entirely, because I refuse to believe he hasn't watched Steven Universe)

Seeing how we are doing games, I’d like to suggest Indie Video Game Characters in Mortal Kombat.
For example
Shovel Knight - a heroic warrior from the Outworld’s Zaterra region, going after Shang Tsung/Quan Chi/Shinnok to avenge his longtime partner.
Shantae - a heroine from Edenia with some Earthrealm ancestry, and a vendetta against the Black Dragon gang, who joins the tournament in an attempt to take them down.
Jacket from Hotline Miami - an assassin from Earthrealm’s Miami with multiple personalities (each personality tied to a different mask and possessing its own fighting style), who’s enigmatic handlers sent him out to wipe out the Black Dragon gang, only for him to become tangled-up in the tournament.
The Batter from OFF - an entity from Orderrealm/Netherrealm/Chaosrealm in the form of an old-timey baseball player, on a quest to purify the realms
The Penitent One from Blasphemous - member of an old monastic knight order from Earthrealm’s Spain, betrayed by the Elder Gods/Shao Kahn/Shang Tsung. The Penitent One now out on a bloody pilgrimage to exact justice for said betrayal.
Any of the playable classes from Darkest Dungeon - mercenaries from Outworld’s Vaeternus region, hired by Kotal Kahn to kill Shinnok
Or cartoon characters on the Suicide Squad
Anne from Amphibia (possibly connected to the Blue Lantern corps. or Kamandi),

The Brain from Pinky and the Brain (an experiment from S.T.A.R. Labs)

Invader ZIM (an alien soldier left behind by his superiors after a failed invasion)
Korvo from Solar Opposites (possibly connected to Brainiac).
I really like this one, and I hope to see more with Kratos and for a personal request Elvis and famous singers as something hopefully dragons

Link looks fantastic! I love the details you put in. The bandage on his sword feels like a reference to its condition in Tears of the Kingdom, and I found that clever! Loved the story too, it hinted at Divine Beast Vah Medoh and Teba, which is an absolute win! Great job with this one, and I hope you do more Zelda-related content!

This video just reminded me of how, since my friends began boycotting D&D due to a series of recent events, we got into the Star Wars Fantasy Flight RPG.
Pretty fun game, once you get used to the system (instead of the classic D20 system, this game used the “narrative dice” system).
Each character has a Career (equivalent of class). There are three categories of Careers:
Outlaws (Bounty Hunter, Colonist, Explorer, Hired Gun, Smuggler, and Technician), Rebels (Ace, Commander, Diplomat, Engineer, Soldier, Spy), and Force sensitives (since the game is meant to take place after Order 66, there are no Jedi, and the player characters are instead meant to be regular people who discovered they are force sensitive. Their Careers reflect how the Force manifests in them - Consular, Guardian, Mystic, Seeker, Sentinel, and Warrior). Each class has also 6 Specializations (equivalents of sub-classes).
Additionally, a number of source books were released that allows you to play during the events of the Clone Wars. These introduced two new careers in the form of the Jedi and the Clone Troopers.
And then there are TONS of Species (equivalent of Race). Outside of the generic humans, you have fan favorites like the Wookiees, Tusken Raiders, Hutts, Mandalorians, Dathomirians (Darth Maul’s species), Droids, Clone Troopers (there’s a Clone Trooper Career AND a Clone Trooper species, don’t get the two confused), Mon Calamari (Admiral Ackbar’s Species), Ewok, Jawas, Togrutas (Ashoha’s species), Gungans (JarJar’s species), or Twi'Lek, and even super obscure races, some of which only appeared in the old novels and comics.
Alto I’m personally upset that the game does not include the Kaleesh (General Grievous’ species) or Gamorreans (Jabba’s pig-like minions) as playable Species.
And of course, any Species can take on any Career. The only exception being that Droids can never take on any Force sensitive Career, and only the Clone Trooper Species can take on the Clone Trooper Career (however the Clone Trooper species can take on any other Career as well.)
What I em pointing out here is that it would be fun if you looked up the game, and began to mix and match the various Species/Careers/Specializations, can come up with stories of how such a character came to be (especially stuff like a Tusken Raider Ace Pilot, like the one one of my friends made for the current campaign, or even weirder combos)
If there's a part 2 of Video Game characters as Mandalorians, the obvious choices what I have in mind are Crypto (Destroy All Humans), King Dedede (Kirby), Metal Sonic (Sonic), and Sans (Undertale)

Miss frizzel as a Mando would be the most terrifying teacher in the universe but she would be a fun dragon as well
I have no idea what was going go because I know nothing about star wars, zelda, god of war, or over watch. But mariolorian was an absolute treat, here hoping we get mandaluigi at some point in the future.

- pokemon or spiderman villains as ARMS characters
- skylanders as folklore characters
- nightmare before Christmas as a horror story

Hey! I find it really really coincidental that everything I find an interest in, there's a vid about it! I litteraly just began watching The Mandolorian. Also, I have an idea. "Roblox Doors Entities as Fantasy Armours or Mech Armours! Also, love the fact that Kratos was in this, I remember you telling me that you were going to use it a long time ago! Great art!

Awesome work with these pictures, Christian. Here are some other requests for future video-game Mandos.
1) Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3- you've never worked with Far Cry before, and Vaas is kind of more mad than most Mandalorians, but seeing as his actor's name is literally Michael *Mando*, he seems the perfect character to use. He could have potential Dathomirian connections, seeing as tattoos (like Vaas has on one covered arm) are a key part of Far Cry 3 skill development.
2) Samus Aran- She basically already is a Mando, just look at her. Now she just needs to be more Mando-ised.
3) Ken Masters- because a Mando who fights with just his hands and feet is even more awesome than one who uses full weaponry, right?

You could turn Helluva Boss characters into Kaiju like Blitzo, Loona, Moxxie, Fizzarolli, Millie, Stolas, Striker, Vortex. You could turn Hazbin Hotel characters into Kaiju like Alastor, Vaggie, Angel Dust, Cherri Bomb, Niffty, Sir Pentious, Husk, Katie Killjoy, Tom Trench, Egg Bois.
You could turn Backrooms entities into dragons like Entity 3 - Smilers, Entity 6 - Dullers, Entity 8 - Hounds, Entity 10 - Skin-Stealers, Entity 50 - Amalgamations, Entity 51 - The Drowned One, Entity 845 - Skull Crabs, Entity 1011 - Solar Slayer.

You could also do a community redraw of subscribers designing their own SCP so you can turn them into superheroes or supervillains, subscribers design their own Subnautica Leviathan and turn those into superheroes, subscribers design their own skylanders to turn them into superheroes, subscribers designing their own minecraft mob to be turned into superheroes or supervillains, design their own sonic character to turn them into superheroes.

-Motorcity cars as transformers, The cars designs and styles were sick.
- Ben 10 villains x One Piece Villains fusions, ideas like Ma Vreedle x Big Mom, Vilgax x Kiado, or Aggregor x Blackbeard.
- Motorcity characters as Tron programs, I consider Tron uprising and Motorcity sister shows that were spectacular.
- Disney XD character fusions, the shows from that network could use more spotlight.

I know you like doing pop culture crossovers but have you consider making power rangers from scratch to fit into multiverse tales somehow cuz that would be cool, or you could have a narrator that makes zords/megazords for heroes and villains sort of like Benny Sharp but you know probably not like the Giant Mech Armors made for Heath and his buds.
Have you ever thought of making other Pop culture characters that could have the 7 different lanterns like FNAF Animatronics, Marvel Characters, Mortal Kombat Characters, MHA Characters, Skylanders, Ben 10 Characters, One Piece, Overwatch Characters, League of Legends Characters, Naruto Characters, Percy Jackson Characters, TMNT Characters, Athletes, and Demon Slayer Characters.
Remember when you did Athletes as superheroes well you could do Wayne Gretzky, Aaron Rodgers, Derek Jeter, Anja Parson as superheroes.
You could do more power rangers stuff like make a rangerverse that is included into Multiverse tales, turn the zords into creatures in Tayrun’s world.
You could fuse fnaf animatronics with d&d monsters to put into the Popcross D&D Universe, turn fnaf animatronics into kaiju, fnaf animatronics as superheroes in the same world of minecraft, athletes, & scp superheroes, fnaf animatronics mech armors, put fnaf into the suicide squad or the sinister six, hollow knight into fnaf animatronics, fuse fnaf animatronics with mortal kombat, fnaf animatronics into mandalorians, fnaf animatronics in different genres, fnaf animatronics fantasy armors, and fnaf fused with poppy playtime so you have more fnaf content.
You could turn plants vs zombies into scps, dinosaurs, kaiju, demons, transformers, mech armors, fantasy armors, superheroes/supervillains, and dragons I guess using plants and zombies you haven’t worked with.
