    Really like how you show all aspects of his impact and not just his sacks. Like his tying up double teams, false starts, penalties, taking away reads or lanes. Hopefully others can see just how valuable he is to our D.

    His impact on a game from the defensive side of the ball is ridiculous. This video was a great breakdown as always showing multiple factors of a game that he changes. I think most people just like look at stats or sacks when it come to defenders, but this video shows just how more meaningful a players impact can be. Great stuff

    The breakdown at 09:59 is crazy. Micah not only feels out the receiver coming behind him, but knows he has help coming shortly. His awareness and discipline is unbelievably impressive. He has definitely improved from the Philly game. I dont think they get to rpo around him next matchup.

      Easier said than done. Eagles offense is insanely hard to stop if they execute well. Parsons might not even be the read guy it could be someone else and they will still run the ball at him. Thomas is not Lane Johnson, pardons had 0 pressures against lane before lane went out with injury. Crazy how eagles aren’t getting respect for beating them the way they did

Whether they were soft or not i dont care. 4 DPI calls on one player in one game is absolutely horrific and should never happen. 2 of those 4 DPI calls were for 30 yards each and the other team scored a touchdown off of each one.

      I noticed that as well. It was blatantly obvious that the refs were up to something. I had heard it had something to do with Jerry Jones raising a stink about some issue or another and basically having Goddell have the refs take it out on us because we get penalties called on us far too often and other teams have penalties ignored when they play us.

    The offensive lines have been resorting to holding the Dallas pass rushers - and these teams have been getting away with holding. Either the refs donʻt see the holding or they are just letting
    the offensive players do it to save some quarterbacks from getting destroyed. It is unbelievable to see the evolution of the way the offensive lines have to make changes due to Parsons (and crew). It must be unnerving to have to look for Parsons on every play or at the same time getting some relief knowing he is on the sideline.

    • @JesseLJohnson
      @JesseLJohnson 2 года назад

      Its been like that forever. Remember here a few years ago they went like 12 games without a single holding on the opposing team. It happened like 2 years in a row. Parsons is held constantly. The Giants DBs held the whole game. They did get caught with a couple and a couple PIs but one didn't really matter since Lamb had the crazy 1 handed catch anyway. GB their DBs and OL get away with holds no matter who they play. In OT that was def a PI that got ignored by the refs. Alexander had Lamb wrapped up on that 4th down try there in OT. If teams were switched I am sure flags would be thrown in all directions. I was reading the Giants SB Nation in game blog and everybody on there was talking about how Dallas paid the refs. I know there was missed calls on Dallas but come on lol. Dallas had what double the number of penalties and have 2nd most in the league this year 1st last year. Everybody always says refs are in Dallas bag well if that was the case why does Dallas pretty much always get more penalties then whoever they are playing. When McCarthy and Philbin came in I was excited thinking they could teach Dallas OL how to hold and never get called for it since that is basically all the GB OL does, hold lol.

    at 5:33 take note of how Demarcus Lawrence once again losses outside contain by cutting on the inside of the RB. Demarcus seems to not understand the concept of holding outside contain at all. I wonder if any coach is actually calling him out for this. I doubt it. After all he is highly paid and must know everything there is to know about football. lol. He is great at stopping the run between the tackles, but horrible outside of the tackle.....I wish he would improve this. It would make a huge difference for them.... The very next play at 5:44 shows how Parsons also is not good at setting the edge. He goes crashing down inside, leaving the entire backside open for a fast QB to run for a huge gain if he chose too. Dallas, keep your edge contain or it will keep costing you. Jalen Hurts will crush you if you do not clean that up.....

    OK this guy doesn't get defense either. At 8:11 mark he is praising Parsons for "throwing " the guy away zand getting to his inside. Problem is, that is NOT his responsibility. Parsons is to stay put and keep the edge. Instead he cuts inside the RT and while he makes the play here, it is wrong as one cut outside and Barkley is off to the races as Parsons is inside and 33 is also engaged. These guys need to trust that the other guy is going to keep his responsibility and they need to just stay in their own gap. Stop playing hero ball and stay disciplined. LVE actually played this poorly. That was his tackle to make yet he doesn't even touch him. LVE needs to get into his hole ASAP and hit that RB for no gain.

    Just think, 2 years ago 3 years ago, the Dallas defense was a liability. The offense had to carry the defense. And Tony Romo was the QB. Now DQ is the defensive coach, now the defense is carrying the offense with Dak as the QB. What a change!

    It's rough being a OT in the NFL. You make somebody disappear for most of the game which Thomas has did the previous 3 to Parsons and he get 1 sack because Daniel Jones drops back too far allowing a clear lane to him and another on a great move (I'll give credit) and all of a sudden he single handedly destroyed a whole team...GTOH. I can see if he was disruptive the whole game

    As a real Cowboys fan we've become accustomed to watching refs not call holding penalties against Micah Parsons because in their own words (refs) we can't call it everytime especially if the play is run opposite field. I guess the refs are there to make the game even in their eyes. He's like the Shaq of football. New rules are being created in the middle of games to make it fair to the other team. Lmfao

      Ass beating by GB eh? it went to OT, that means over-time (cuz it sounds like you need a little help), it was a close game..!! You obviously fail to recognize how difficult the NFL is, I’d say the Cowboys are showing promise.. Notcto mention division games are always difficult. If Maher makes that last FG the final score is 31-13, but think what you want. Lots of football still left this season, it will be interesting to see how it all plays out, for several teams..

    The defense played well, but I'm still not convinced on the offense. A team that's depleted of many of their starters on defense like the Giants, needed to be finished off in the first half. Instead, Dak threw 2 INTs and the team once again had over 10 penalties. Do that against a quality team in the playoffs, it'll be another one and done season. They really need to fix these inconsistencies.

      I hear this all the time "do this against a quality team in the playoffs" and it's complete bullshit. The giants were 7-2 (same record as the Cowboys) and are going to be in the playoffs.. seems like a pretty quality team to me. Secondly, it's a division game which are historically much closer and battled out than normal games, much like your profound mythical playoff game. There is a reason that great teams still fear division games; 2020 - 11-5 colts lost to the 1-15 Jaguars. Division games just hit different!
