Once again football scout great video
@@Mnmgodz45 thank you, Matt. I really appreciate it
The young man will be a all pro tackle
All-Pro talent and an intelligent young man. I saw him interviewed.
Nice job breaking down plays! Happy that what everyone thought was a reach in the draft is going to work out.
It's very impressive for a rookie at left tackle. Cowboys have been drafting a lot better in the last 5 or so years.
Boys Tackle play this years has been soo much better than i can remember for a long, long time. This kid is a revelation and i am embarrassed for being "pissed" at the Boys for picking him in round 1 b/c he's flat out been incredible. Yes - he has work to do to improve still - but for a rook to come in and play with "man" strength out of the gate, at a top 5 money position that he wasn't even supposed to start playing until next year is incredibly impressive. In addiiton to that - he's got that "nasty/dawg" to him which i love b/c he loves putting the hurt on dudes. Reminds of the great, nasty Erik Williams from back in the day who would fight Reggie White in a phone booth for 3 hours to the point where Reggie would get really pissed off. incredible to watch and i think it won't take Tyler 5 years to become one of the top 3 LT's in the game "IF" he can stay healthy and keep his head screwed on straight.
Another great video brother! An yeah, I'm biased. Former O-Linemen, and Cowboy Fan.. Tyler Smith is MY BOY!!! #73! #DC4L
Never really cared about learning about o-line but your videos really make it interesting. Even more exciting to learn about the line than receivers running routes
Great break down of plays bro. And I agree T.Smith will be a beast of a tackle.
Excellent breakdown on Tyler Smith...he's such an amazing kid as a person and on the field he felt over his head at LT. He deserves his flowers fir such an excellent step in the right direction with penalties but he's technically sound with all he's learned from the veterans over the summer. He takes his draft position and his time on the field very seriously and you can see it in his game. OUTSTANDING Tyler Smith breakdown. Ppl need to know he is on his way to being great
That ghost move is lethal !
Man, you are awesome on these O-line breakdowns... 👍👍
Thank you, Sam. I really appreciate that!!
That was a fantastic video and breakdown commentary. Plays I don't usually look at in depth, but I loved it. Nice job.
Another outstanding film study. Thank you!
Amazing breakdown as always brotha !!! His ghost move is legit. He really is getting better as each game goes on
Thank you! Yes it is. I love that move. I hope our LT, Kolton Miller can start doing that too
Great content, this is really in depth.
Good work man please keep it up
This game wasn’t his best by far but kids a baller
I think a lot of people don’t give credit to Smith because he plays for the cowboys. If he plays for anyone else, everyone would be praising him.
Thanks!
Thank you very much! This is much appreciated
After watching the Eagles-Cowboys game, are you still ranking Philly's DL over Dallas's DL? Either way, they're both among the top of the league.
Tyler is looking great! This whole OL is overachieving, I'm not sure anyone but the Cowboys expected them to come out performing like they have. The staff got a lot of crap for how poorly they handled the OL in the 2nd half of last season after injuries had mounted("Dak didn't look the same after the calf injury", because he didn't come back to the same team, the protection was pretty unpredictable when he came back), they just never found any solutions to band-aid the issues(like other teams had been doing).
But this is a whole different season to say the least. OK, Tyron getting injured isn't different... but they came into the year with a semi-disaster with Tyron out, left them getting a 40 year old off the couch to help fill in, and yet, after week 1, they've been playing like they're a GOOD starting lineup, even with Tyron's wealth of experience being replaced by Tyler's lack of experience, outside of losing a rep or two to a damn Aaron Donald, they've just looked rock solid.
Terence Steele going from UDFA in 2020 to legit NFL starter in 2022(amazing), Zack Martin isn't a young buck anymore but is obviously still doing Zack Martin things, I'm a little concerned about Biadsz(something like that)'s potential lack of ceiling but he's been doing decent this season, the young LGs have been making leaps in their ability(started the year a lil shaky lol), and Tyler Smith out there being a brick wall on pass plays and a bulldozer on runs - gotta love it! Plain and simple - this OL isn't a liability anymore, they aren't having to work around inconsistent pass blocking anymore.
BTW, shaht aht to the young TEs, Ferguson & Hendershot, too - those boys are dawgs in blocking, and they're making us not notice Schultz is missing in the pass game... Go out and get your money Schultz! lol
They're both in the top 7.. but i would give the slight edge to the Cowboys bcuz they have Parsons and DLaw. Both very good.. I do think the Eagles DL is very deep. They have about 6 guys that can all ball.
I agree with you on the Cowbous OL. It's crazy bcuz I loved Steele. Even last year. He was a good run blocker. But he's Definitely taken the next step and looks really really good now.
@@The_Football_Scout armstrong and fowler quietly having great seasons and impacts this year. osa is in year 2 and someone to keep an eye on for the next couple years. Looking for Gallimore to actually take a step and then dallas is seriously cooking.
Just wait till we get Tyron Smith back for the playoffs, shifting Tyler back to LG. OMG 😳
EXCELLENT breakdown! Man, you’re getting REALLY good at this, Brother, and watching your vids is a true privilege and pleasure!
Watching Tyler, you can see his head tilted oh-so-slightly as he watches the ball for it’s first movement. At the first slight rocking of the ball that signals the beginning of the snap, Tyler is in transit! He’s moving as soon as the ball is, while the Defender usually has no clue, which gives Smith a huge advantage coming out of his stance.
I don’t think it’s going to take 5 years for Smith to become the best LT in football. And the next time someone criticizes Dallas for Drafting an OL in the First Round, I will bitch slap the 💩 out of them!!! 💙👍😉☝️😁💙💯‼️
Nice critique! Wish you could do a segment suggesting what cowboys should do to counter Phillies possible game plan for when we play them again. Or what would you do if U were Philly & what Boys should do to counter Philly defensive schemes???
Kid is really really good. I’m pleasantly surprised. Yes he’s gonna get called a lot. But he’s been much better than I was expecting, filling in for one of the greatest tackles of all time, in a position that he’s not used to. He brings a guards mentality to the LT position and has been really mauling people all year.
He has done a great 👍 👏 job at his position filling in for Tyron Smith,he will be great.
except he's no longer "filling in" - Tyron can be the new "swing" tackle for the boys since, unfortunately for him 1) he can't stay healthy which means he's no longer reliable 2) he's not nearly as good as he was 5 or 6 years ago 3) b/c of these reasons, he's not an upgrade and nothing more than a "progress stopper" for our new LT at this point
They don't talk about him enough Tyler Smith is HIM!!!
Considering most fans booed him on draft night homeboy is working out
He’s gonna be all pro sooner or later hopefully sooner he’s already a damn good player
🤩⚡🏈⚡🤩
The pros said that Tyler was trash. This man has shown the haters that he is better than the others.
Great job Tyler
In my opinion we have the best scouting dept in the league...Tyler is just more proof....we had a great draft overall and the last 5 or 6 yrs.
That Noah Brown catch was crazy. To bad it didn't end up being a TD. Smith has held up pretty damn good. Especially with everybody saying he was gonna be a penalty machine and he practiced pretty much the entire off season at LG and only played LG in the preseason. Both rookie TEs have been pretty impressive blocking too. Shultz used to be halfway decent blocking till the last couple years when he has blown up as a pass catcher. Hasn't really done that yet this year but he was playing with a backup QB and he himself was hurt a couple games. He still isn't a very good blocker lol.
O-line seemingly much easier to develop than D-line and with a longer playing career than D-line .This is why there are so few quality D-Lineman it must be very difficult or they just turn them
into tackles .Jordan Davis may be an exception for defensive tackles at his height /size in todays league --
Curious how Jordan Mailata would have developed playing D- line .Having never playing football before the NFL-
I'm just wondering what happens when Tyron Smith gets back no offense to the elder Smith but they need to let Tyler keep progressing at LT
I respect you saying Tyler Smith will be the best LT in 5 yrs...
But I'm saying in the next 2 or 3 yrs
1st time on the channel. Definitely subscribing
Tyler has some work to do but he also has some ability. He's going to be just fine. However, the ball that Cooper Rush underthrew to Cee Dee turning a TD into an interception? It so happens that Cooper got smashed in the mouth because Tyler Smith got Beaten BADLY! If Cee Dee scores right there Dallas has a shot to win that game.
One note on Smith - he is just a kid. I think youngest first round draft pick. That's scary...
I thought this said tyron Smith like ur a little late to the party lmao
Dude has HoF athleticism
He's only good in the run game, when Dak got hurt it was his man that did that. When CD was open and Rush couldn't step into the throw is was his man that was there to mess up the play. I wouldn't call that dominate, that's just ok.
2:11 illegal hands to the face… right or wrong? Also didn’t move graham at all.
2:59 you mention that the gaurd is hooking 95 while hooking 93… you mean holding? Lol wdym. Also 95 is the lowest d tackle on our depth chart.
4:13 Patrick Johnson #48. Another 5th stringer… lol
And you want to show his bad snaps but against the rams lol. Why not show the repeated reps he lost and gave up pressure from the Philly game lol.
Okay
8:50 you mention they gained 8 yards. You didn’t see the tight end holding #94 josh sweat. You really think a tight end can single-handedly block sweat lol
9:10 Hargrave beats and splits the double team once he gets inside. Tyler then halts hargraves lateral momentum because he is HOLDING him. Had he not illegally held, hargrave dives directly into the running back. You don’t see these things lol? Not too mention the tight end holding josh sweat once again… You talk about him punching graham in the face. Graham beat him like a drum all night lol.
Brandon Graham beat Smith to crack Rush and force the game ending interception
Yes he did. It was the only time Graham flashed.
He’ll be good, but he won’t be as good as Jordan Mailata will be
Jordan M is REALLY good. Like top 5 good
I just remember that this is the guy who thought Josh Ball is a good LT so I'm a little sceptical
Bro, those Eagles player are a backup to a backup. Please stop the cap
Cry eagirls cry
😆 🤣 😂 why don't you pick all the plays where he got beat or where he was holding because there's more of those in the good ones you're talking about I watch this game I watch this video over and over again he got beat countless times and got away with countless holds and that's that I'm a die-hard Cowboy fan
He's played on 378 snaps. You're telling me he has 175 bad snaps?
@@The_Football_Scout yup that's what am saying don't believe me why don't you do this for me then why don't you start from the Bucks to the Eagles and make a video from every mistake every hold that was called and was not called every time he got beat every time he blocked the wrong person and every time he just stood around because he got beat let's see how long that video is let's see what outcome comes then you talk about you want to be honest then be honest because I agree for a rookie he will get better and he has changed my mind about drafting him but the truth of the matter is is he has a long way to go a long way to go and there is a very strong possibility he will be nothing like Tyrone Smith
Die hard cowboys fan. I’m sure you are because are whole fan base is full of haters. Did you watch the video because he’s showing how much potential he has and the good things he’s doing right. Why don’t you go make a film session with all his bad snaps you hater
@@maxhuff5943 first of all bro what's your second favorite team how about your third better yet how many football games on Sunday do you watch because I'll tell you my first favorite team is the Cowboys my second favorite team is the Cowboys my third favorite team is the Cowboys I haven't watched the Super Bowl in 30 years because the Cowboys haven't been in it I was 8 years old the last time they won a Super Bowl I only root for the Cowboys I can't even say another team is good because I feel like I become wishy-washy I'm not hating on Tyler Smith I'm hating on the fact that everybody keeps telling us how good the Cowboys are without actually pointing out our flaws we cannot be good until we know our flaws and fix our flaws so f*** you and f*** everybody else that thinks I'm hating I'm speaking the truth Tyler Smith is a good rookie yes but is he going to elevate us no it's the same thing that was going on with Cooper Rush is he a good backup yes is he a great starter no Dak Prescott is he a good quarterback yes is he a Super Bowl championship quarterback no you can call me a hater all you want to but the fact of the matter is people hate people that speak the truth because everybody else loves to dwell on the lies and the fantasy of their life
@@lostsol7777 nobody said he’s rashawn slater or prime Tyron you cornball😂 he said he’s playing well (above expected probably) and he’s going to be a monster within 5 years. Yes you’re a hater
E-A-G-L-E-S
Not that great ..cause Cowboys lost
