@Arda not all janissaries are turks. in fact %90 of the janissary corps are brought from european christian families. i highly doubt Turks "NEVER" used al, ibn, ebu etc examples: El- Cezeri Cabir bin Hayyan Ibn-i Sina .... read some history arda bey. Repairing a palisade gate costs 15 wood for 400 HP and 32 seconds to repair to full. Building 6 new palisade wall tiles costs 12 wood for 250 effective HP and 36 vil seconds but the next layer only costs 2 wood. Honsetly it's a toss up which is more cost effective: building palisade walls behind or repairing.
More micro and villager walk time for walls though, since they have to walk all around to build, and then the walls die quicker so vill can spend less time doing anything useful before they have to walk back and repair/build another palisade wall.

They have faster building villagers and their blacksmith upgrades cost no gold. They also get FU halbs, skirms, hussars and paladins and monks and they have all dock techs.
Turks are a strong civ in AOE, they have some of the biggest power-spikes with free light cav/hussar upgrades and free gunpowder in imp. You saw the castle-age jannies in this game too, when a unit outranges its best counter then it can be very hard to stop. They have fewer options because if they were this strong + everything else they'd be OP. Want to talk about a civ with few options, did you notice that the matchup was Turks vs Goths lol? Bad deal for MB.

Do not attack while Fedual age and Dark age with Turks. Then you can make two strategies, fast castle or fast imperial. If you play an open map, go fast castle produce jannisaries (high damage low accuracy), monks (gold bonus), and light cav or mangonels (cav for free upgrade and jannisary bonuses against spearman, cav to skirmisher) (mangonel for gold bonus and high damage from jannisaries to cavs or milita lines and monks against cav, mango to skirmisher) In fast castle strar, go jannisary and trabutchge combo. - - - - - - - - - - In the fast imp strategy, while playing closed maps like arena or forest. do not afford castle for an early strong attack. go for cannoneers, bombard cannons and bombard towers. bombard units are expensive so that do not spend gold on monks or other gold units a lot. This is the worst against skirmisher defense. If you are talentfull enough to snip skirms and mangonels with your cannons, then hand canoneersw will do the rest.
turks versus goths is a matchup favoring turks I'd say, especially if goths doesn't do early damage. given that viper kept up the pressure and didn't allow a free boom, goths couldn't come back. of course this is only because viper microed very well, etc. that he was able to keep pressuring mbl.

Lots of skilled micro. Turks wouldn't really need a 3rd TC since gold is more important for Turks, means that imping prob faster for immediate hussar, plus you don't wana give Goths any unnecessary booming chance; even as a hard counter civ to Goths like Turks
